They did an excellent job . Their price was very fair. The job was done quickly. After the job was done they did a complete clean up. I would use this company again.

Joe was able to do the work for me the next day. He was extremely neat, the seal coat did not get on anything other than the driveway. He has a great set up with his truck and is ready to get the job done immediately. He gave me his estimate, seemed reasonable, and he got to work right there. He also took the time to edge the grass around the curbing which was a nice touch. He also did a spot repair on the driveway which was starting to corrode.

I called and left a message for the company on two occasions. My husband also called from his workplace and left his number. There has been no follow-up to date. The company may be overwhelmed with work but a professional approach would be to inform potential clients of the situation.

We have a 110 foot driveway with a tremendous pitch, and it was in very bad shape from previous work we had done to our home [new gas line, internet connection update, remodeling, etc.]. Joe removed the existing driveway and replaced it with new sand and stone, followed by an asphalt top that would provide us some traction. He removed some shrubs from the side of our house, up to the property line, and put in a paver space for parking. He modified the spot so it wasn't so steep, put in a granite step at the junction with the rear yard entry to compensate, and re-bricked the walkway to the back patio. He replanted the shrubs for us and mulched the area as well. The grade is great, allowing water to run away from the house. My husband and I are positively delighted with the outcome!

Joe Primo is an asphalt artist. He truly enjoys what he does and he does it well. He resculpted the driveway to make it more functional and aesthetically appealing and then patched a few places on our common road for free! A great job.

Left three messages and actually spoke to the owner (Joe) once. I could not get him to give me an estimate. Unclear why he would advertise on Angie's List if he is not willing to give estimates for all jobs. I do not care for contractors who "cherry pick" and I even told Joe to let me know if the job was too small. I do not think Angie's List should allow these contractors to place advertisements in their magazine if they do not return phone calls.

Wow, Joe is what Angie's List is all about. Great, honest, punctual, and quality work that I feel I can trust. Joe called me right back and was out the next morning. He recommended, based upon the age of my driveway, that I should get two coats. He was back that afternoon to apply the second coat. Kept the area clean and was careful around the plantings. I highly recommend him!

Joe arrived with crew approximately 9:00 am. They worked diligently until about 3:00 pm. Very very happy.

We originally had this job estimated last summer and weren't able to get it done at the time, and many of the suggestions such as how to make an soft, unpaved play area that would work without going overboard came from Joe Primo then. The driveway is perfectly graded and the drainage works perfectly - including in a huge deluge last week. The stone dust is holding up well and working nicely as a soft place to put the play equipment without worrying about killing the grass or mowing around it. The side of our house looks great. Joe called us and came when he promised and got the work done promptly.

Once he came, he stayed with the job and did a good job!

Even though I called during the busy season, Joe called me back the same day. He was going to be working near my house the next day, and offered to come by with his truck, give me a quote, and then do the work that day if we wanted. Joe and his team stopped by right on time. -- He quoted me a good price (we have a large area to cover) so he and the crew got right to work. -- I know I was lucky they were already working nearby, but it was great to get this done so quickly. They were very careful around the retaining wall and garage doors (not one splatter!) and also sealed up a couple of cracks. Our driveway and sidewalk look terrific, and I'll definitely call him again (I have already given his name to my neighbors!).

Joe DePremeo came out to my house within 24 hours of calling him. His estimate included the paving, landscaping and masonry for my home. I had three other estimates done and Primo Paving provided the right price for all three avenues of work. Joe DePremeo came out himself and began to work. He began with my driveway. In order to prep the driveway to pave it, he had to take out some hedges. He took them out and then put stone about 8 inches down. Then he landscaped the rest of the front yard. He trimmed the rest of the hedges and provided lawn and flower services. Joe and his crew came in with huge pieces of equipment to pave and landscape. The driveway and some of the sidewalk were paved to perfection. The hot top was nice and thick. He was finished in a reasonable amount of time and when it came time to seal the driveway he called me. I was very impressed by this because most businesses need to be tracked down in order for them to finish. As I said he called me and came out at the time he had told me. Joe, himself, put the seal on the drive way, brushing the edges and paying special attention to the middle. For the masonry avenue, there was a wall that had been damaged that borders the front of my lawn. Joe and his crew were able to restore this stone wall in no time. It looks wonderful now that the driveway, sidewalk, grass and wall have all been refurbished. Primo Paving did an awesome job at a great price. I would recommend them highly to anyone that needs any type of paving, landscaping and/or masonry work done.

I called Joe Primo 2 years ago to do my driveway. It was a difficult job, but he managed to get it done and promised to come back to seal-coat when I was ready. I called him June 3rd at 8:30 am he was here in half an hour, did the job and charged me exactly what he quoted me 2 years ago.

I did not hire this company for work.

Joe was prompt in returning phone calls and submitting a bid. He explained things carefully and thoroughly. Then, the job was done quickly and well. We payed what the bid said we would pay, and the bid they submitted was slightly cheaper than other submitted bids.

The overall process went great it was raining out the day he was suppose to come and sure enough the crew showed up ready to work. I got home from work that day and the driveway was dug out, graded and ready for asphalt. The next day was drizzling out and sure enough the crew shows up again ready to work. He showed up with state-of-the-art professional equipment. After the binder was put down I thank 'd him and told him to have a nice day he said "What do you mean, I'm not done!" I said really? He said no way there is still the final coat which looked like glass when the final coat went down.

Excellent job. Better than expected. Called Joe and he came right over, gave us an estimate, and described how he would do the work. When we asked about a retaining wall at the end of the driveway, he suggested that we didn't need to spend the money, he would instead put down grass sod. He showed up on time with a big crew, got the job done in one day. The driveway and the sod came out better than I expected. The price was exactly as quoted. Excellent job.

I called twice and left messages. After about a week, they called back, and said that they would call me again early the following week to arrange a specific time for providing an estimate. They did not call again.

Primo Paving was the first contractor I chose since joining Angie's List and really demonstrated the value of membership. Joe gave me his estimate the same day I called. He took the time to tell me in detail what I could expect from him and when he would start and complete the job. I could not be more pleased with the quality of his work and attention to detail. Being a bit jaded in my dealings with other contractors, it feels good knowing folks like Joe are out there waiting for your business.

Joe was fabulous. I called him, he came by the same day, and was able to do the work the next day. He was responsive, problem solved quickly, kept me fully informed of the work progress, and was a pleasure to work with. When they stumbled upon the huge trunk and root system under the former driveway, he called me immediately and we discussed how to handle it. the driveway is beautiful. Our neighbors have all complimented the work and we are pleased with the quality of work, the customer service, and the price was very reasonable.

Joe responded the same day with an immediate price. He arrived the next day and the work was completed by the time we arrived home. The lawn is beautiful. He was accommodating of a number of difficult obstacles, e.g. moving a porch staircase, removing old crumbling concrete stairs, working around a huge tree and its roots. We are very happy with the work and would strongly recommend him and his crew.

I called back twice to confirm and received no call back.

The appointment for estimate didn't go well. I wasted a Saturday afternoon waiting for him to arrive. He promised to arrive within an hour after I spoke to him; he ended up arriving 2 1/2 hours later. I called him twice and the second time he assured me that he'd be there within an hour. He wasn't. I was really upset. He didn't even call to say he was running late. I had given up on him and was starting to leave to run my errands when he finally pulled up after the day was already wasted. I told him that he shouldn't make promises that he can't keep.

Joe answered my call promptly. We had a bit on of go connecting but the fact is we did finally connect. He and his crew came and in one day repaired steps and both the back and front walkways. He replaced bricks in the steps and pointed all around the flagstones. That's an on your knees job! The walkways looked brand new when he was finished and the area completely cleaned up. He was polite, professional and charming.

I always got an answering machine when I called the number, however the follow-up call usually came soon after my call. Joe came out promptly and provided an estimate. He was familiar with the type of driveway that goes under the house and understood how the drain should be installed to keep rain water from flooding the garage. After agreeing to the estimate I was mailed a contract that spelled out the work to be done. It matched the estimate worksheet, no surprises. The work was completed in one day. At the end of the job they cleaned up so well that except for the yellow tape to keep you off the driveway, you would not know they were there.
