The repairman showed up 2 hours after he called and said he was on his way. After diagnosing the problem, he told me he would go by the part store first thing in the morning and see if they had one in stock, or if they would have to order it. He told me he would call me first thing in the a.m. He called at 12:15 to tell me they had the part, did I want him to get it? I told him of course I wanted him to get it. It couldn't run on bypass for too long, I was afraid it would burn up the blower motor! He said he would pick it up and be on his way to my home. When he didn't show up by 4:00 I called the company to see if there was a problem. She put me on hold to try to contact my repairman. Came back on the line and said all calls were going to his voicemail. She told me she would have him call me to let me know what was going on. I called back at 4:45. I spoke to the owner of the company and he apologized, and said he would make a reduction on my bill. At 5:10 the repairman called from the office...told me this long drawn out tale about dropping his cell phone in the commode, he had to get a new phone and have it activated. He said he had my board and be at my house first thing in the morning. About 20 minutes later (probably after the boss got hold of him and chewed on him a bit) he called and said if it was alright with me he would go ahead and come out and replace the board. The bill was still 325. I know the board cost 200, because that's why the repairman asked me did I want him to get it. So I don't think there was any discount applied to my bill. Luckily I had taken a vacation day on Sept. 1, but I did have to cancel a dr.'s appt and a hair appointment when he didn't show up on time. It was a wasted vacation day for me and I got nothing done. It was extremely frustrating for me. This company now goes by the name of "One Hour Heating and AIr"
Description of Work: They diagnosed the problem, which was a bad board. Wired it so that the fan would run all the time, but the compressor would kick off and on. That way, we would still have air.
