Review for Sunlight Contractors,LLC : If I could I would give this company a 10 Star rating I would. It has been so long since I have dealt with a company that does what they promise, when promised. This company had all the credentials' needed and competent personal. I contacted this company on 11/14/2016 for work I needed done. Today is 11/17/2016 and my job is complete, they cleaned up. I needed closed cell spray foam installed (1800 sq. ft.). I was given complete information about the foam this company uses and where this foam was made (in the USA). I can not express enough, how courteous and professional we were treated by this company. I will list below all credentials on this company. They do more than insulation work. GREAT - WELL DONE JOB! EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!

Sunlight was very professional and competitive with their services. Ira, the owner, gave me some good ideas to look for when pricing out this kind of service and Sunlight was great in all facets of the job. A crew of two came out to inspect and measure the job for a quote, then within one week, the installation crew of 4 professionals came out to complete the job in a well organized manner.

The experience was professional from start to finish, and we were very impressed with the work done.

I needed insulation under my house for moisture and thermal reasons. I ended up choosing Sunlight based on their customer service, qualifications, and professionalism. Ira got me scheduled right away during a dry patch of weather. The crew was punctual and courteous. They even covered my car in case of overspray. It's only been a week or so but I can already tell my AC is performing better, my wood floors finally have a moisture barrier, and it's just quieter walking around my house. Would definitely recommend to anyone shopping.

Clayton came out to assess the moisture levels under my raised home in preparation for insulation. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. Ira has been very good at keeping in touch with me and giving me all the information I need. I am quite pleased so far.

My job is now complete and I could not be more pleased with how everything has turned out. The crew was on time and started to work as soon as they arrived. Everyone on the crew was polite and professional. Afterwards all was cleaned up and looked great. Would highly recommend Sunlight Contractor's to all.

After the recent flood in Baton Rouge { 2016 } I am having to renovate my home. I contacted Sunlight Contractor's and spoke to Ira ( very nice and professional guy ) who explained how everything would work. He also put me in touch with Project Manager Corey ( very nice and professional guy also ) who came to my home that afternoon ( his crew was working in Baton Rouge that day ) and explained all to me . Knowing nothing myself of what could be done , Corey walked me through my options , explained how he could give me line quotes on my different options and then let me make a choice. When my quote came in they were hired the next day. Very fair pricing. I had contacted businesses in Baton Rouge but they either wanted to much money, never came back after first look or did not contact me back at all. I was sent all info I could possible need to explain about instillation, material used and on the company and crew from Sunlight Contractor's. Great Service.

They know their product well and offer common sense solutions but at the same time are willing to adapt to your specific needs. They have done the same for me in the rebuild of my home after the great flood of 2016. Sunlight Contractors arrived when they said they would arrive, performed the work as they estimated, and provided exceptional quality workmanship. The staff was considerate and respectful of our property as well understanding of our specific needs.

Sunlight Contractors were really very professional, courteous, and thorough. I am a Landscape Architect, so I design projects and see that they are constructed correctly. Every project has unexpected conditions surface, which have to be analyzed and addressed on the fly. I had just purchased an old house and, while installing spray foam insulation under my raised house, the Sunlight crew found mold and excessive dampness in the subfloor. They proposed methods of resolving the issues and took care of business. The job was done efficiently and professionally. I recommend Sunlight Contractors to everyone who needs home insulation.

We chose to hire Sunlight Contractors to put in our closed cell foam insulation after they completed a job for a family member. The came highly recommended for doing a great, professional job in a timely manor for a great price. They were able to start with in a short period after contacting them and have had great communication with us about the process.

Exceptional!! From my first visit to their impressive website, which tells you anything you ever wanted to know about foam and their company, to the first phone call and up to the last handshake. After 10 years and two floors we finally decided to figure out what was going on in our home. We had bought our home 8 months after Katrina. The house did flood, but at the time we did not replace the original wood floors. 5 years later we decided to renovate replacing the original floor downstairs and adding an additional 1200 square feet to our home. Needless, to say the contractor and other professionals that were hired made it a very stressful and miserable process due to their lack of communication, knowledge, and experience. After replacing the original floors in this project we ended up having to replace a huge portion of the downstairs after only two years and now the remaining floors were starting to give us an issue The floors were basically disintegrating just as they were prior to the renovation and 2 years after. WE WERE AT A LOSS! So with much hesitation I started to do some research on local contractors who had experience with this and after a quick Google search I came across Sunlight Contractors. After reading several reviews I was convinced that if anyone could help they could, but because of the issues we had in the past I was still cautious and somewhat guarded. So I sent them an email. I must say I was immediately impressed with how quick someone called me. Ira called the next business day and came out to the house just as quick. After looking under the house and running tests Ira confirmed that we not only had a huge moisture issue, but also mold. They were very quick in getting the information needed to fix our problems and to put a plan in place so that we could move forward right away. I could go on for days on how wonderful Ira, Corey and their entire crew is, but I can honestly say after what we have dealt with in the past this was the complete opposite and we could not have asked for a better experience. Ira was very good at communicating and even talking me off the ledge a couple times. Corey was very hands on with the crew making sure things were getting done and the crew always arrived when scheduled working efficiently with no mess left behind. Now that the project is complete the difference in our house is huge. The humidity level has decreased significantly and the air conditioner actually clicks on and off rather than running 24/7. I can hardly wait till next summer to see how much our Entergy bill will be. Thank you to Sunlight Contractors I am pretty certain we will have our new floors for a very, very, long time.

I recently purchased a raised house, and I wanted to get the crawlspace under my house insulated quickly, so that I could work on the floors inside the house. I called Sunlight Contractors and spoke to Ira on a Monday, and my house was insulated by that Friday! Ira was very informative and reassuring. I had spoken to several other companies that do insulation in crawlspaces, but Ira seemed the most knowledgable about insulation in general, the proper conditions for spraying the insulation, the different types that were available, and why certain types were more appropriate for certain areas of a house. He was able to provide me with alot of information about the specific product they used. They were very accommodating of my desire to have the work completed as quickly as possible. The work performed was excellent. They found mold underneath the house and remediated the mold a couple of days before spraying. I have peace of mind knowing that my house is protected, and I can't wait to see how low my utility bills are. I would recommend Sunlight Contractors to everyone.

We found sunlight contractors through Angie's list because of their high ratings. Ira and Corey's crew were very professional in getting the job done (right). We just bought our house in uptown and trusted them to do a good job and they met our high expectation. We plan on using them again if we need more insulation!

The workers showed up within the promised time frame and they did their job, simple as that. During the spraying procedure, things were relatively quiet and there was no impact on my activities. They installed a temporary blower in my doorway so that I would not have to smell anything. When they finished, they took me to the attic to see what had been done, and everything looked good. I am anxious for a hot, sunny day so I can see the difference in my attic/garage temperature! One thing to be aware of: if you have a square footage based on your floor plan, the attic roof square footage will be a little higher if you have a sloped roof. (Think triangles and the Pythagorean theorem.) The company will send out somebody beforehand to calculate the roof square footage and the actual cost for the job. The project cost might be a little higher than the estimate you got over the phone, but it is entirely fair because of the increased square footage.

Sunlight Contractors does what they say they are going to do. They were consistent, in electronic, telephonic, and in-person communication. They guided me on preparing for the work and explained the contract. They arrived on the scheduled date, and completed the work safely and efficiently. They did what they said they were going to do. I cannot sense any residual odor at all from the materials, and they even thoroughly cleaned the work areas in my home. This is what "service" is all about.

Communication and service were great. My phone calls were always answered or returned in a prompt fashion. Ira's team did a great job making my home energy efficient.

The best about Sunlight Contractors is their superb customer service. Ira answered all of our questions and explained in detail the whole process. The process of obtaining an estimate is transparent and, prices are appropriate given the quality of the materials used and the services are in full compliance with industry standards. Ira, Cody, and crew were very professional, and did great work. We would highly recommend to our friends and we look forward to see the benefits of a cool house and lower electricity bills..

They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about spray foam. They answered all of my questions and had someone come out on a Saturday to give me an estimate. Their professional quote was ready the next day, and their price was right in line with other spray foam installers who weren't able to answer my questions. I felt that I was making the best choice due to Sunlight Contractors' level of experience and expertise in their field.

Sunlight Contractors went outside of box and used their closed cell spray foam to help me create a floating dock system. Tulane University's rowing team needed a dock that was close to the water to allow an easy launch and retrieval of their boats. I designed a plan and Sunlight Contractors came to my location and sprayed 6" of closed cell spray foam to the underneath of platform. Over a year later, the dock is floating just as it did on day one, 6" on top of the water! Tulane's crew coach told me it's the nicest dock system they've used! He then went on to say it's nicer than Harvard's floating dock system, it's super easy for the launch and retrieval of their boats!

I was pleased with the experience with Sunlight Contractors.They offered me a wealth of information beforehand about spray foam insulation, the insulation process, and things to know about before hiring a contractor. They came out to discuss the project, answer questions and gave me a a competitive quote. When they came to do the job, they spent time doing a door blower test to see exactly how much air was leaking into my house. After the project was complete, they performed the test again, which showed a substantial reduction in leakage. Sunlight Contractors were very professional throughout, were timely, and cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company.

I chose this company for my project based upon the strong recommendation of a friend, the knowledge the company showed and the wealth of information they shared with me, their excellent BBB profile, and the competitive price they offered. I can't wait for the project to begin!

After months of researching spray foam companies on the internet, listening to Home Improvement radio shows, BBB, Angie’s List, we narrowed it down to five companies to contact. I called all five for an estimate, only one company, Sunlight Contractors had an actual person that answered the call and actually worked for the company. All of the others had an online form to be filled out and would call you soon, only one other contacted me. Sunlight set up an appointment with me immediately on the first call to come out in three days and give me an estimate. They called thirty minutes ahead of coming out and showed up right on time. The supervisor Corey and coworker were very courteous and after measuring my attic they explained what job had to be done to get the best results. After studying the estimate I decided to add some additional areas to the job and wanted them to come back and measure for those, again right on time and an estimate within hours. Our home has a very large roof area and our install was going to take two days. They arrived as planned and on both days and left our house totally clean as if they had never been there . Before the installation I placed a remote thermometer in the attic to get the temperatures of what was really going on up there. The results are that it has lowered the attic temperature by 30 degrees on a hot sunny day and the AC unit is now running half as much as it did before. The whole experience with Sunlight contractors was totally positive. Great on communications and the price was even better than the other company that did bother to come out and give me an estimate.
