The repairman Mr. Ivey came 50 minutes late and did not call to say he would be late. I called him. The day before the appointment I gave him the model number of my fridge and told him the fan was missing a blade, so I needed a new fan. I expected him to bring the part with him. He did not. After looking at the fan , he agreed that a new one was needed., and started to order it. I was not pleased with the way he handled my problem, so told him not to order it, as I had to leave my home within the hour. I am very disappointed.

Kenneth was the repairman who serviced my Kitchenaid stove and refrigerator. He was prompt, courteous, and competent. Had used Sears repair service for years. This is now my go to repair service for my appliances.

Initially his service fee that he quoted was too high and he lowered it. The owner told me that I need a new motor for my dryer. The spindle is broken. He said I need to buy a motor because the spindle comes attached to the motor. When I told him that I knew that it was incorrect and that I was going to report him to the State Attorney General for fraud and deception then he eventually admitted that I donâ t need a new motor. Then he added that I need a pulley. He told me 3 different things. This man is fraudulent and deceptive. He tried to charge me for a motor and the repair cost. He tried to rip me off. I talked to him about lying to me and being deceitful. Eventually, I escorted him out of my home. I informed him that I was going to report the matter to Home Advisor. He refused to provide any type of license. He said he doesnâ t have one. I had to ask him his full name several times. He said heâ s part of an association. I asked the name of it. He refused to provide it to me. He asked for money and wouldnâ t give me a written service statement. This business owner did not provide any effective services. He tried to scam and defraud. Then, he had the audacity to request payment for fraudulent and unsavory business practices. He lied to us several times about what is wrong with my dryer. He called a parts store and then refused to give me the price for parts. He said he called several parts stores but only made one phone call. Iâ m contemplating reporting him to the Louisiana State Attorney General and the City of New Orleans. We do not need individuals defrauding citizens. He needs to cease contacting me by any means after his criminal behavior when trying to run a scam on me today. I have a witness to my entire encounter with him on today. I do not recommend this business to anyone. By the way he wanted to charge me for a motor. I need a spindle that costs $10.99. A motor costs substantially more.

He did not put service fee towards bill as he said he would and wanted to charge me for a tool he needed and then sent an email showing brand new washing machines for comparable prices.

I had experienced a small leak under the washing machine, and when Ken came, we could not duplicate it. He buttoned up the machine, I paid him, and later, when my wife wanted to do a load of laundry the machine would not empty; it would spin, but not drain. I called Essential that evening about 5:30pm and was told that I would get a call as soon as he was available but no call came that evening, and I called the morning of 8/30/19, same message, and again at noon that day, same message. I would have to say that their customer service is very poor. Update, I received a text saying they;d been trying to get ahold of me; never received call, but did contact and made appt. for 9/2. Stay tuned. Update 9/5/19: Ken came over with the new belt (one day later than he'd originally said), and replaced it. Washer now working. I will say that this place would rather use their chat site to communicate than simply call you on the phone.

Extremely polite and professional. Super quick response to inquiry, reasonable rates, and efficient. Approximately three and a half hours total--from the time he arrived, left to pickup the parts needed, returned and serviced our dryer. All on a SATURDAY!
