Arnul and his team were great. Setting up the appointment was a breeze, and I really appreciated the scheduler's professionalism and great personality. Arnul came on time and evaluated my property. He explained in detail what he would do, when he would do it, and what materials he would use to complete the project. He was kind and just pretty awesome. I don't know if their prices are higher than others, but after the initial free consultation, I was ready to hire them. I paid half of the fee when the start services and the other half when service was completed. I have no complaints, and I'll use them again in the future whenever I have another fencing need.

Mr. Gonzalez came right out and gave me a good estimate. He delivered his product on time and even had the fence completed before the due date, despite very nasty winter weather. I could not be more pleased with his work. The price was a fair and reasonable amount, and the service was excellent. Mr. Gonzalez is a pleasant and personable gentlemen, hard-working, and very professional. I highly recommend this company, and Mr. Gonzalez in particular.

Mr. Gonzalez runs his business like you wish all businesses were run. He called me back promptly in response to my initial inquiry. He showed up when he said he would and finished the fence when he said he would and did it right. I would not hesitate to use him again. Highly recommended!

Mr. Gonzalez came out and gave us an estimate and said he needed and half the price up front. When they started the job they was on time and worked hard all the day. The work looks great and only take two days to do. Very good job, We definitely would call him again.

Mr. Gonzalez and his crew were punctual and arrived at the scheduled time. He provided an estimate of how long the work would take to complete, and despite some weather delays, completed the project in a timely manner. The cost estimate was accurate and Mr. Gonzalez guarantees his work. They removed 490 feet of old wire horse fencing and built a new 5 foot tall fence that was extremely solid (all the posts were placed in 2 feet of concrete). The fence aslo greatly enhanced the appearance of the property. The 2 wrought iron gates are arched and Mr. Gonzalez does all the welding. The 70 foot picket fence was built quickly and is an excellent privacy fence.

Mr. Gonzalez was very prompt and professional. He measured accurately and his bid was the actual cost - no hidden extras! Prior to settling on a contractor, I had talked to several friends who are builders and they all told me to make sure that the following was offered when selecting someone to do my fence: 2 cross supports for 6 foot high, use screws instead of staples, and all of the supports should be in cement. I obtained 3 bids. When Mr. Gonzalez's presented his bid, all of these items were listed without being asked - unlike the other two. Bottomline - I went with him and I'm so very grateful that I did. It's beautiful and exactly what he promised me!

I couldn't be more pleased. The fence looks great, the materials and workmanship were excellent. Mr. Gonzalez even called the City to mark the underground cables, so I didn't have to do a thing. I paid 1/2 up front and the remainder upon completion of the work. Don't be put off by the first phone call. I worried when I called and got a "hello" rather than a business name--and had it not been for the Angies recommendations, I probably would have thought it was a fly-by-night company. Instead, I learned that Mrs. Gonzalez often takes phone messages when Arnul is out on a job. He then called me back, gave me the estimate and did the work with a small team of skilled professionals. I really liked both Arnul and his wife La Peace (unknown spelling of the name) and would definitely recommend them.

They were quick and their estimate seemed fair. They did a wonderful job on the fence. I would absolutely use them again in the future if I need to.

They were excellent at repairing the iron gate. They had to repair some bent iron and replace the motor. I am very pleased with their work. They tore down a small wooden fence and replaced it on the property line in the back of my yard and did a fine job. On the side of my house I had a short wooden fence I wanted moved back several feet. They did a good job, however they hit a part of my irrigation system when digging a hole. It was about six inches from the hole they dug. The system worked fine the day before they dug the hole and the day after it was spewing water when my system was on. They felt it wasn't their fault so I paid $125 for an irrigation man to come repair it rather than argue with them. They also left the original concrete holding the post in the ground where the original wooden gate was. I had to ask them to come remove it. They said it wasn't necessary because it was level with the ground. I told them that I wanted it out so grass would grow in that spot (about a foot in diameter). They did come out to remove it. I wasn't home when they were out and they took it out of the ground and left it under a tree near my fence. It is the size of a short chair and very heavy. Quite an eyesore; they should have removed it from my yard.

Office promptly responded to my query. Arranged to meet me at my home at my convenience. Arrived promptly for interview and estimate. Suggested cost-effective solution to my primary problem, which was my dog was scooting under the fence. Suggested best gates for my needs. Gave lowest bid and had the best ideas. Performed work quickly and thoroughly. Called to check on my satisfaction. Fence looks great. Gates work correctly and are the right size. Dog absolutely cannot work her way under the fence now. Mr. Gonzalez is courteous, professional, and as good as his word. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Arnul Gonzalez showed up at appointed time to give me an estimate.The estimate was handed to me the same day.I did not have to wait for estimate to come via letter or email. I had estimates from 3 other businesses in the surrounding area. Gonzalez Fence and Iron beat 2 of the other businesses.Arnul wanted half down to get the supplies needed to get the job done.Upon looking at Better Business Bureau and Angie's List I went with Gonzalez. Gonzalez had great reviews on Angie's List. I am so pleased with the work I received. The job was very professionally done.The fence is attached in 3 places not just 2.Also there were extras that was thrown in. My neighbor had a small tree that was leaning into my fence.I was afraid that it would effect my new fence.After talking with my neighbor she was ok with cutting it. Arnul cut it at no charge.Also he replaced 3 other boards that were damaged on my existing fence.I also got an estimate on my iron fence from Arnul.I am planning on having it repainted.There is not many people in my area that work on iron fence. I definitely would use Arnul and his fence business again.

The prices are reasonable, considering the quality. They are very nice and very professional. They show up when they say they will and work tirelessly until the job is done. They came the day after I called to give me an estimate and the job was completed within one week from my initial call. I would definitely use them again if I have more work in the future.

Everything was on time from quote to finish and was done perfectly. There were no problems of any type.

He was punctual. We met and he went over in detail the options for our gate - including design and different gate operators. He fabricated the gate ahead of schedule. His installation was very good. He touched up the paint, cleaned up, and demonstrated the gate operator to me before leaving. I am considering hiring him to replace our cypress back fence.

Very happy with Gonzalez Fence and Iron. They provided a visit and quote within 24 hours of our call. The quote was fair and we were enven able to do a little price negotiation ($50.00). Once they received the 50% upfront for supplies, they began building the next day. We had to replace 30 feet of fence that was only built in 2007 (another company)! Once the new fence was built, I could definitely see the difference in quality! Great job---they will be our go to fence people!

Arnul made an appointment for the following day after I called. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He prepared 2 quotes, depending on the amount of work that I wanted done. In one case, I wanted a privacy fence to replace the one that was already there. He also quoted a price for installing a partial chain link fence as I requested. I have not yet made a decision regarding which option I want and what vendor I will hire. I am sure he would do a very good job either way.

Great, from start to finish.

I did have them come and quote, but I have not used them. They were all right. I had to call them twice to get them out to the property, so I guess on service and their timeliness for responding to a request for a quote was not good. I dealt with them long distance; I did not actually meet them. I called because I wanted them to put the fence up, so I called to get a bid.

Great experience! The fence they installed looks really good and he has the best price of 3 quotes. He even did a little extra at no cost to me to make it look just right. Highly recommend! A+

Overall it was a good experience. The owner was there everyday doing the work. He was friendly and professional. And he did a good job.

Mr. Gonzalez responded same day to to evaluate job and presented estimate next day. Work started within a few days and was finished within a week. The weather kept completion from happening quicker but Mr. Gonzalez kept constant contact. When project was completed two pickets were noticed to be cracked and Mr. Gonzalez returned within a couple days to replace them. (Again the weather was a preventative in quicker replacement, extremely rainy for two weeks from time of call to time of completion) Fence looks wonderful and is beyond my expectations. The price was very fair and better than any I had researched. Mr. Gonzalez also gave me free advice on fence work I was doing myself. I would call him again should I need any more fence work done.

Whole process from start to finish took less than 3 weeks. Would have been faster if not for my busy work schedule. They really worked with me to get the fence installed around my schedule. The fence looks great and would definitely use again should the need arise.

Based on numerous "A" reports on Angie's List I called Gonzalez Fence and Iron Company and spoke with LaPeace who was very professional and accomodating of my work schedule in setting up a time for an estimate. Mr. Gonzalez came on 10/8/12 and was prompt, thorough and very professional. I asked for and he gave me advice on several issues concerning a 8 foot tall back wall and the type of double gate to install. Together, we walked my entire back yard and I explained that I did not want to tie into any neighbor and did not want to see any exposed runners...I just wanted to see "the pretty side". Mr. Gonzalez also suggested the method he could build my swing (double) gate so it would never sag, break, etc. The estimate was reasonable and I had a very good feeling about using this company. I paid 1/2 the estimate and we agreed on a start date. Post holes were dug, poles placed and cement poured on Sat. 10-14-12. It's a lot of fencing. Completion was on Thursday 10-18-12. This is a very very hard working company and I couldn't be happier! I've saved quite a while to have a quality privacy fence installed and the wait was worth it. Mr. Gonzalez was great to do business with along with LaPeace managing the office end of things. Several neighbors specifically came over to inspect the swing gate and were very very impressed with the workmanship and quality....I think they are envious. I would recommend this company with no reservations and would use them again, except I will probably never need another fence because it's so well made.

Mr. Gonzalez came out Friday and gave me an estimate. Monday he had people come by and check for underground utility lines and Tuesday they tore down my old fence. They had my new fence and my new big gate in by Friday. I am very pleased with their work and will be using them next spring on another project. Mr. Gonzalez listened to what I wanted for a driveway gate and did it exactly to my needs. He welded a solidly built metal gate with cedar fencing and it looks great. Very, very happy. Plus it all took place in one week
