This was an AC tune-up big deal special that we purchased through Angie's List. We were able to schedule the service very quickly. The provider arrived on time and was very professional - even wearing shoe covers inside the house. He was very knowledgeable. He performed the tune-up and then showed us exactly what he had done and pointed out some issues. Our system is very old, which we were aware of, but he did not try to push a new system installation. We did ask for a ball park estimate for a couple of different replacement scenarios. Obviously it was not an official estimate, but it seemed rather high. I really like that this is a one-man operation. We have hired larger companies that send out a technician and have not had good experiences. We will definitely use this provider again.

Second year that Daniel did the checkup and cleaning service for my cooling system. Again was very thorough and spent about an hour or so making sure everything works well. Unlike many/most others, he gives a very detailed receipt and explains everything he found and potential problems but obviously wasn't making stuff up to try to drum up more business. Prompt, professional and clean too.

The HVAC thermostat, it turns out, had a hidden loose connection which responded well to re-attachment by the keen-eyed sleuth, Dan, the Service Technician. The young man then gave me his cellphone number and told me to call him right away if the re-connect did not hold up, or the system failed in any way, over the week-end, so that he could come out immediately and install a new thermostat at NO CHARGE for the additional service call! He said he was concerned about the possible danger to me at my age (70's) of having to experience hours, possibly days and nights, of high temperatures in a non-air-conditioned house. To say I was favorably impressed was putting it mildly. I'm happy to say, however, that I've experienced zero problems, of any kind, with the HVAC system since that visit! The entire system has been in almost daily use, appropriate to the seasons, since that date in 2011. So, do I feel I got a BIG DEAL from Angie's List and Residential Experts Heating and Cooling? YOU BETCHA! Thanks to Residential Experts and their clean, courteous, caring and knowledge-able Technician, I know I got a GREAT DEAL! If I experience any problem with my HVAC in the future, Residential Experts Heating and Cooling will most definitely be the Company I will call, without delay! Thanks, Angie's List, for being a Great BIG DEAL Facilitator! (: I apologize for taking so long to submit a review for this terrific Company and my very positive experience with them. All I can say in my defense is, Life happened and I lost track of my paperwork for this Big Deal until this past week, when I was doing a whole-house clean-out! I hope all parties can forgive my tardiness. I humbly apologize.

All service performed, efficiently, professionally, and with genuine care and concern for the well being of all of us.

Sadly they did not check to see the real cause of the leak and we had to go through this all again the next year.

I purchased this service for my father's house. He was quite elderly. Right after I purchased the service, my father became very ill and moved into a nursing home. I never made contact with the provider and never used the service.

We were thrilled with our level of service from Daniel Bandy at Residential Experts! He returned our phone call very quickly (even though we phoned on a Sunday), set us up for an appointment the following day, diagnosed our problem, and explained all of our options for repair/replacement in a clear, no-pressure, easy to understand way. We liked this gentleman from the start. He is very courteous, professional, punctual, conscientious, and is a man of integrity. Highly recommend him...

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He was absolutely great.

They worked quickly, accepted payment on their iPad, and was not over-talkative. They did what they needed to do and got out. We will use them again.

Gee, the only details left to tell you is that Daniel was a polite and knowledgable.

The guy came out, he talked to my husband and told us that we needed 5 pounds of Freon because it wasn't cooling. 1 lb of Freon was included in the deal, the guy said we needed about 5-6 pounds. He said it was going to be about another $200. We had another company came out and told us that we only needed 3 pounds of Freon. The offer said that the unit would be cleaned, when the other company came out they said that it hadn't been cleaned. When we called to let this provider know, he did refund us our money.

I placed call to provider and voice message was on. I left message of my problem, my name and phone number requesting a call back. I never received any response. In all fairness to merchant, perhaps the message center was full and message was never received. I don't know. I eventually called another vendor and air was restored in my home.

He did a good job and we were happy with his service. I thought that he was very professional and he did not try to sell me anything. I like service providers like that. I do not like the ones that are saying I need a new compressor, when I do not need one. He told me what he was doing as he did it. He walked me through it. He was good to deal with and I appreciated that. I would use him again.

My experience overall went well. The staff was friednly and professional. I was pleased with the work provided. I would recommend them to others.

Daniel Bandy was amazing. On time, straight forward and honest with information, professional, friendly, and worked his tail off! I was super impressed with how well he went through his work, like a man who really knows his stuff. I'd recommend him to anyone, and will use him again if I ever have problems again. An amazing home repair experience, after a string of bad ones from other service companies. UPDATE: Had a second problem with our central heating, and Daniel came out and took care of us. He is amazing, and we will be using this company for all of our rental properties now. Can't say enough good about them.

The equipment he installed didn't even last 6 hours. I'm a bit frustrated that I dropped $387 for NOTHING because he has to now install a whole outside unit for $2050. He was very good at explaining what the problems were once I asked, and the invoice said it was only temporary, but he failed to mention that when he installed it. (And the invoice said I'd have about a week to a year, not 6 hours.) However he did discount the further work, and was very professional, so I decided to go ahead and use him for the installation.

It turned out well. We set up an appointment and he showed up at the appropriate time and he was very congenial and very professional. He did his job and he left. I was very satisfied with the price and everything. The price was exactly as it was listed on the deal. He did a very good job and the pricing was reasonable.

Appointment went well. He performed the service quickly and to my satisfaction.

I contacted Daniel for a service call to one of our tenant's home. Daniel went the same day, found the problem, ordered the part and completed the installation. He's very friendly and professional. Will use him again. Appreciate his discount for finding him on Angie's List, too!

I do not think I need to say anything good about him because from the last time I looked he was dominating the competition as far as his rating and everything. He is excellent and I like him a lot. I have family who work in the A/C and heating business, but I call this guy. The owner of the company, I can call him at about midnight and he is going to come out to my house and he does not charge me anything extra. He is very very professional. He calls you if he is going to be 5 minutes late to say I am running a little bit behind. He puts on booties when he walks in your house. He asks, do you mind if I put my cut-board down here on your table. He does not step on the plants when he is walking around in the garden. So, I like him a lot and he will let you know this is what you can do to make it last for a little bit longer and this is what you should start saving for, as next year you might need to get a new unit. He is very good about not forcing you to feel like I have to spend $5000 right now. He gives you options, they look good and I like it. He is a one-man operation and he is really good at what he does. He knows a lot more about what he is doing, because I have seen people operate and it is generally they do a generic pound pressure in the unit and they say that we are just going to bring it up to this amount of pounds, but this is not the case with him. He says that first I will look at the unit, as the unit tells you what it wants on it and what it does not want. I would definitely highly recommend him.

Daniel provided excellent service. Had a cancellation and called to see if he could come by early. Checked and cleaned our A/C until both outside and in. Very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
