I had a pretty poor experience with them. After I called politely four times over a three-week period to fix a fence and a broken garage door (which had a motor burned out apparently from a power surge by a thunderstorm), my husband finally called and said that he would like to file a complaint. Each time I called they would say they would take care of it right away, but no one ever showed up to fix the issues. The other thing I was turned off was; when we had moved into this rental home it was filthy dirty, so I did all the cleaning myself. The toilets were disgusting and everything was just gross. Now that we are leaving, they expect us to have it perfectly clean to the point that they want the window tracks wiped out and the baseboards wiped down. It just kind of really left a bad feeling because I felt they didn't take care of us that way at all. For the repairs, I was by myself and my husband was in Indiana. I was dealing with health issues and just had surgery. The gate fell completely off the fence because it was so rotted. When I called 3 weeks ago they told me that they will have someone look at it. They didn?t show up until weeks later when my husband called to file a complaint. They finally came out to fix it, but all that time I had to move this heavy gate back and forth to keep the dog in the yard, or let the landscaper in to mow. It was very frustrating. Overall from the time we moved in, we felt we were dealing with people who were not professional. Again, when we moved in, the bathrooms were full of urine and pubic hair, the appliances were not cleaned, there were stains on the carpet. We lived with a tall deck that seemed like it was quite old, and the fence was leaning over on every side. When we first moved in the air conditioner was leaking and flooding the basement. It smelled like mold. That too took a long time to get somebody to fix it. They kept saying that it was "just condensation." The repairmen told us that no one had maintained the air conditioner before and that?s why it was all flooded. Now that we are ready to move out at the end of our lease, we have to pay for the carpet to be cleaned. We have to pay for a guy to come and spray the house for fleas even though our dog doesn?t have fleas. They gave a long checklist for anything that was not cleaned or needed to be replaced: i.e., cleaning the toilet is $25 each. Well, they should pay me $75.00 for cleaning three of their filthy toilets when we moved in. I am usually an easy customer and so far I have only given good grades on Angie's list, but I wouldn?t recommend Success Realty to anyone else. We thought about calling the better business bureau.
Description of Work: I had given Coldwell Banker Success Realty a list of repairs that needed to be done and they wouldn’t respond. They would say that they will get on with it and then they wouldn’t callback.

We used Success for the last couple of years to manage our home. Any time we had to contact the property manager about how long something was taking to get done, they would complain that they had over 400 properties, making us feel like we just had to wait in line, when we paid them the same as everyone else. There were several instances where we had to do all the leg work to get work done, because they were absolutely no help, which makes no sense, because that is what we paid them for and when they complain about how many properties they have to manage, you'd think that having so many properties to manage would be advantageous, but no, they are way over their heads. We have concerns about their ability to ensure that a home stays in good working order under their watch. We would not recommend using Success Realty to manage property.
Description of Work: We used Success Realty Property Management to manage our home when we moved out of the area. They were responsible for placing qualified tenants into our home, coordinating necessary repairs to the home, and ensuring that the home was kept in good repair.

I used David Earls as my realtor when we were buying our first house. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. My husband is in the US Army and Dave is former service and so is his wife, that made us feel comfortable that he knows our situation. He let us know how everything works up front so that there were no surprises. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
