Scam company. They came out to fix clogged sinks about a week ago and their amateurish work just moved the clog into the toilets which started overflowing as soon as they left late afternoon. They refused to come back out. We had to pay another company hundreds of dollars late that night in order to have working toilets, something most people find to be a necessity. Tyson plumbing never even called us back the next day after promising they would and having left multiple messages with their service- which FYI is the only way to reach them, this is how they keep you at arms length. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. They also have another alias they use for their company. Should be absolutely removed from Angie's List.

James (Ken Tyson Plumbing) arrived looked under my sink and said “I’ll have to pull out your dishwasher to get to the problem”. I said that’s fine, whatever you need to do to fix it. Replaced my garbage disposal (leak was inside cabinets under sink) $262 for about 30 min work. Two days later, first time we ran the dishwasher it leaked. (Leaking in a different place than before) Of course I called KT Plumbing and they had James call me. He had an attitude from the first phone call, short, unprofessional, denying he had anything to do with my leak. When he showed up he barely said hello and went straight to my kitchen. After looking at it he said it’s my dishwasher. (Dishwasher is less than a year old) He continued to deny (in a very unprofessional manner) he had been near the dishwasher before despite telling me he had to pull it out to replace garbage disposal. At this point I just wanted to be done with Ken Tyson Plumbing so I asked do I owe you anything for today. He smartly replied “well you’re supposed to pay me $40 but I guess I could let it go. I told him to just leave. So after two visits from Ken Tyson Plumbing and $262 I have a bigger leak than what I started with. I’ve lived in the same house for 14 years and have had many different utilities come and work for me. James was the rudest person by far I have ever encountered. If you’re reading this consider yourself lucky and don’t call Ken Tyson Plumbing unless you want to be treated rudely and pay money for a Plumbing problem that likely won’t be fixed.

I did a lot of digging myself to isolate the leak. When I found the leak, it was under our sidewalk. I tunneled halfway under our sidewalk to try to access the meter box to make it easier on the plumber. Tyson plumbing was extremely responsive and efficient. They brought a plumber and an assistant. While I felt the hourly rates were a little high, I never hire anyone to work on my house, so it might have been very reasonable; also, it was certainly a two man job. My only negative would be the $60 "Trip" fee. I understand why they do it of course, but nonetheless it is still a little irritating. The approximate cost includes two employees, working two hours (working a water main under a sidewalk), the $60 trip fee, and some for materials. Overall, very satisfied and I would certainly recommend them.

David was very efficient and quickly completed the tasks. He cleaned up after his work. The toilet feels sturdy now--not wobbly anymore. He took the time to explain why the outdoor faucets burst. He pointed out that the shower head I bought didn't match the finish of the shower arm (?)--brushed nickel versus chrome. I didn't care, but it was good that he checked with me before installing it.

Had to replace the whole faucet, cut hole in the drywall to get to the pipes.  New pipes were knocking, came out immediately to correct the noise.  VERY professional and went above and beyond to be sure I was satisfied.

I woke to find water on my garage floor.  They came out the same day I called them.  I had  (2}  50 gal heaters. The one was leaking and the other old and rusty.  They were in the house when I bought it so I wasn't sure how old they were. I asked them to remove both heaters and replace with a larger one. David was very prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again.

He seemd pretty knowledgable and helpful. Although he wasn't able to come out immediately he was able to come out the next day and fix the issue in that day and it was a pretty big job. I hired them because I had an estimate on what I needed done first from another company and this company ended up being a much better price.
