After having a high radon level report we contacted Protect for an estimate for service. They were right on time and took the necessary time to explain the process and to answer all of the questions that my wife and I had. The quote was very reasonable. When the work was scheduled, the crew showed up on time. They were very professional, cleaning as they went and left no mess at all. The crew explained what was going on as it was happening, and continued to answer all questions. When they had finished we felt that there no questions left unanswered. They came back and took another radon reading after several weeks and the radon level is almost zero. What a great feeling. I would recommend them to anyone with a radon issue.

Jerry Parker and his team were first rate.  Jerry constantly looked for ways to correct this problem more efficiently, and advised on ways to to reduce the cost.His advice and counsel was worth as much as the remediation service itself. The problem and source has been corrected, the remediation is done and I'm in the process of replacing the drywall that had to be removed, then the project is successfully complete.
The professionalism and integrity that Jerry practiced makes this a no-brainer recommendation.

Called for showing and estimate. Quick to schedule appointment. Arrived on time. Viewed problem and gave high level summary of services to be performed with formal estimate and action plan to follow within two business days by email. Very kind and pleasant. Didn't receive message for more than a week. Emailed gentleman that made initial appointment and was quick to respond estimate in summary and formal would follow. Formal followed by end of day. We scheduled service date for approximately two weeks later to work with our schedule. Morning of service had no idea for time of arrival so called and response between 9 and 9:30. Arrived on time and began sealing off affected area w plastic and setting up ventilation to exterior. Removed toilet. Day two removed pre-finished hardwood floor over affected area and cut out subfloor which had been saturated and needed to be removed. Remainder of day 2 and am day 3 was continued ventilation and cleanup. Hardwood removed was saved and placed in garage for potential to salvage for reuse. Services were performed within standards and expectations set with estimates. Everyone was very pleasant throughout service. Also recommended other service providers for other home maintenance needs like for exterior painters. Thanks Protect.

Pre-inspection, installation and testing all done in a professional manner.  High quality installation with no problems. Major reduction in radon level with readings below EPA acceptable limits.

Came and did what they proposed to do.  Very professional.  I had to call back a couple of times, but they responded promptly to my concerns.  They were a little higher than my other estimates, but after researching, I think they have more knowledge of installing radon systems.  I wanted it done right since I had been diagnosed with lung cancer and am not a smoker.  I would highly recommend this company.

This company was wonderful...friendly, professional and we felt like they listened to our concerns and addressed the issue.  They installed a radon system in our basement, which required drilling into the foundation and installing an exhaust fan through the roof in our garage.  They showed up on the day/time they promised, worked quickly & efficiently.  They cleaned up after themselves.  We had a slight mishap w/ some drywall in the ceiling of our garage, during the exhaust fan installation...but they quickly called and drywall company and had it fixed at no extra charge to us.  
They followed up, as promised, with the new radon testing and were timely getting us the results.  
I've called a couple of times, since the installation, with questions about the monitor reading ... they were very professional both times.  Listened to my concerns and explained the readings to me - both times offering to come out if I felt that they should take a look at the system (which wasn't required).  So glad that we used Protect Environmental.  Our neighbors have since had radon systems installed and opted to go with a company that quoted them a lower price...but they have had poor customer service during and after the installation.  Protect Environmental was worth every penny!

Jerry Parker was the employee that showed up.  He was very professional.  He walked through the house and then explained what he had found and what needed to be done.  He told me he would sent me a written estimate of his findings and what they would be doing.  I received the estimate a couple days later.  We made an appt. for him to come out and do the work.
The workers were on time and completed the work in half a day.  They cleaned up after themselves as well.  I was very happy with the service they provided.

We had a great experience working with this company. Jerry Parker was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The company was very quick and did a great job. They were in and out of our home within a few days of us hiring them. We also ran into a separate issue once they took the wall down and they were very helpful and patient with this. We highly recommend Protect Environmental.

I thought I had a mold problem around my air vents.  Based on my description and his experience, Richard told me he was 99% sure it wasn't mold but was just carbon buildup around the air vents. He explained how it happens and both how to clean it and how to prevent it.
Nice guy too.

They provided a highly successful mitigation of an exceedingly high level of radon in my house.  They were very considerate in placing the system in locations that would not inhibit other activities in the house.  They also gave me time to pre-paint the exterior piping to reduce visibility to onlookers.

They were very easy to reach and quoted everything perfectly.  The finished project is very clean and well finished.  Absolutely no complaints about the technicians or office staff.

One of the best contractors I have ever worked with.  They were very professional, clean, and courteous.  They were happy to explain anything and accommodate requests.  They helped work around some problems and able to provide great solutions and options.  As far as the mitigation went, they reduced our house from a level of 26 to under 4.  This is the same house that another radon contractor who was suppose to be the best in town looked at and would not do the job because he didn't think he could get the levels down.  I would not look anywhere else for radon problems as these guys will do it the right way with the best results.

Installers arrived right on schedule, put booties on before entering our home, and went right to work. Evaluated the best method for running the piping, drilled a few test holes to assure good air draw throughout the basement sub floor rock base, and completed the entire job in 5.5 hours. Clean up was well done, and system and follow up testing was explained. Our system may have cost a bit more than average, due to higher capacity fan unit to draw from 3000 sq. ft. of flooring.
