I had a flood in my home on XMAS Eve, two hours after our moving company left, a faucet in our master bathroom failed. Paul Davis was out within three hours and began mitigating the water damage. Because of them I was able to save the walls in my kitchen and the ceiling. They are helping me restore the cabinetry back to original condition and install a new floor in the basement. They are always responsive and very polite and courteous. Jeanette has been with us every step of the way and would always give us a heads up when she needed to come by, very sweet lady, and very good at what she does and extremely hard worker, felt like she was here 7 days a week checking on the house and adjusting dehumidifiers and fans to get maximum results. Can't recommend enough!

They arrived on time and were very professional during the inspection.

I was on vacation when I received a call late at night from my downstairs neighbor telling me water was coming down into her unit.  I had moved out of state and my Louisville Condo was vacant and for sale.  A kind neighbor immediately turned the water off and stabilized the situation. Unfortunately the damage was already done, due to a frozen pipe in the kitchen wall that had burst. I had heard good remarks about Paul Davis Restoration (PDR) and immediately called my insurance company.  They escalated my claim and approved PDR for immediate action.  I made the call to PDR and was connected to an agent.  He asked first if he needed to go right away.  I told him since it was late and all was secured for the night, I didn't think that would be necessary. He said he would be there first thing in the morning.  I gave him the garage code and he was there as promised. Unfortunately more water had trickled in overnight. He assured me that they would take care of everything as he could tell I was frantic.  They began working right away and he kept me up to date on everything that was going on.  He even texted me photos to calm my anxiety.  In my absence he met and dealt with the insurance adjuster.  He emailed the work authorization and other necessary paperwork and went out of his way to keep things simple for me.  The work was completed within 3 weeks, even with a delay of dry wall delivery due to a fresh snowfall.  I had secured a contract on my unit just a week or so before this water damage occurred.  PDR even took care of dealing with the real estate agents and providing flooring samples for the new buyer to choose from.  They just went over and above the service I was expecting.  I can't say enough good things about them.  The above was my cost after my insurance deductible.

Really well, very professional, only problem I have is we took the 1 coat of paint from walls and had it rolled into painting our great room because it has 20ft walls. They did an excellent job, but they did not put the 1 coat of paint on the base molding. We had a couple of issues that we addressed with the project manager and he was very excellent to deal with. He had a family emergency and I totally understand but he never got back to us and I am assuming that he is considering the job completed. I did text him once and asked him about some caulk I gave him to complete the job and all he did was tell me the color of it. The finishing of the job is really minor but it was a lot of money that our insurance and that we paid out of our pockets. I would use them again but I will be a little of vigilant on making sure the job is complete!

Got right to the problem informed of what they where doing. had a great price, it was half the price of another plumbing company. The man I worked with Dale was very pleasant and would tell you anything you needed to know. The only problem was, initially the workers didn't cover the area very well and residue came off on to my furniture. They sent a cleaning a crew who was excellent. I now use her as my cleaning lady.

The were hired to clean the basement.  They ripped out the drywall and left a big fan.  I had to hire someone to help me clean and mop out the basement.  I would not hire them to clean my doghouse.

I needed repairs done because, of the water damage. I had a terrible experience with him. He claimed that I wanted to wait two weeks. It has been two and a half months and my bathroom is still torn apart. I told him that I wanted things in writing for my adjuster and he did not do that. When I decided to go with him, he wanted half upfront for the job. He could not give me a date. I would not use him again.

They replaced 4 basement windows. It took forever to finally complete the job. 3 of them worked fine. The 4th one leaked when it rained. Ruined a lot of stuff in the basement. They came out twice and said it was repaired. It wasn't. A third visit was scheduled and they just didn't show up and didn't call. Very unprofessional and shoddy service.

They did everything we asked. They are a good company.  They will fix anything you don't like.  I enjoyed working with them.

Paul Davis started immediately after we experienced a bad house fire. They did an outstanding job on framing, electrical, and drywall. After that, it was, and still is a complete nightmare. I was told my house would be painted in a week to ten days. SIX WEEKS later, the job was still not finished, and what was completed, was extremely poor craftsmanship. During this time, I would periodically check the house, and find trash thrown everywhere, and even tobacco spit all over the floor on several occasions. The contractors that they use do not treat the work environment like it is someones home. We have been back in our house for three months, and are still finding defects in the paint.

They were very knowledgeable. They showed up right away and really took care of the problem. We didn't have any problems after they did the cleanup.

Words can't describe the stress they caused in my life.

I had a refrigerator ice machine line break overnight (early morning) and woke up to two very wet rooms- kitchen and living room. Called Paul Davis thru a referral, and their response was great. About an hour or two later, the crew came out and started the water extraction process (house was on a slab) and kitchen floor tear-out. They worked extremely fast, almost too fast I thought. Took pictures, wrote notes and measured everything. Very complete documenting. They set up the fans and left- I even helped tear out and remove the kitchen flooring. The job wasn't huge- but the bill was. I guess when you are billing insurance, you can get anything you want. For what I recall being around 1 hour to 1.5 hours, the bill was insane. I couldn't really even understand the billing breakdown (when they finally mailed me an invoice) but did figure they bill for everything they possibly can. Great responsiveness but really felt ripped off on the bill. They "get you" when it comes to an emergency situation- must be a good business to be in.

They did a great job. They made a great presentation on the options we had, in terms of the types of roofs we could use. They gave us comparable examples of people who had had similar roofs put on nearby. We could actually drive out and see the different roofs. Their clean-up was great. I was concerned with nails, and we did find just a few, after the gutters were rained out.

They are punctual and they are not finished yet but they have done a very good job so far. They are very courteous, polite and thorough.

I noticed a spot in the bedroom ceiling. The company responded quickly, did an initial inspection, and protected the open spot in the roof. Paul Davis assigned an estimator and supervisor to the job. Both were responsive to phone calls and resolved issues to my satisfaction. The actual work on the roof was done in one day, with minimal follow-up the next day. Interior work was also completed in one day. The results were monitored. Additional ceiling painting was required. This was done on a Saturday morning the following week. About a week later, it was noted that the chimney flashing needing further sealing. This was taken care of promptly. Final invoice issues were resolved promptly and satisfactorily. We were very pleased with the professional execution of this job.

Because of them we were able to get everything repaired.
