Jeff did an amazing job. Not only did he respond within a couple of hours... we live quite a ways out of town, but had a new replacement fan on his truck and was able to fix it on the spot. He also topped off our refrigerant. Great job, but he didn't stop there. This was a home warranty job. I paid him up front, which I expected and is only right. Although I was reimbursed, my warranty company was very hard to deal with. They wanted to speak with Jeff before authorizing work. After I was on the phone 20 minutes, I told Jeff to go ahead and start the work, as I couldn't expect him to stand around all day. I gave up on my warranty company well after an hour on hold. Jeff offered to call them back. He suffered through two or three attempts before finally reaching them, verifying the problem, justifying the cost, and getting my reimbursement started. He did not have to do this, but was very diligent and willing to help me with reimbursement. Outstanding job. I was very impressed and will call him for any future HVAC (or plumbing) needs. We highly recommend Jeff at PPHVAC!

The night before I noticed our AC was not blowing very cool air and house was getting warm. We turned off AC to not cause further damage and put our 10,000 BTU window unit in family room window. The next morning, Friday I left Jeff a message. He called me back in 20mins and said he could get out later that afternoon. He had a full day but rescheduled a few people that were just check ups with working systems. He asked if we had a window unit til he could get out, and if not he would bring over a temporary cooling unit until he could get out later. I told him we had a window unit and were ok. Thought that was so thoughtful and thanked him. That day we had record breaking temps of 108 degrees!! Our 10,000 BTU window uit was able to keep our house 80 until he got out around 4pm. He found our we had a leak on high pressure line and also a bad capacitar on condenser. He had the part with him and soldered the line that had a leak and recharged the entire system. After 1 1/2 hours we were back up and running!! I was so thankful that he was able to squeeze us into his already overloaded day and take care of us. I felt bad he had to work in extreme heat but was focused on getting his customers AC fixed. I thought we were last client of day and he said no, after I called he has 3 more calls yet that have no AC!! So he would be working all evening and not going home for dinner. Wow!! Very rare to find a dedicated caring, affordable, honest contractor like Jeff. We feel very thankful we doud him and have used him in the past with great results too! Any other contractor would of told us to replace unit and not did as much work to old Lennox unit. We are glad Jeff is able to keep our 30yr lennox unit going for a few more years!! If you want an honest, caring, very affordable professional, call Jeff and you will be glad you did!!! I will only call him in the future for heating and air and when it comes time to replace heating and cooling we will have him do it. He feels like a big brother that you can count on and trust in time of emergency! Thanks again Jeff!

I just hope my review doesn't cause him to be to busy but have to share this company with other people that need help!! It was Memorial Day and a heat wave at 95. I sent a txt message to a friend wishing them Happy Memorial Day and telling them I think I will have to replace our Lennox 30yr old central air soon. It is low on freon with small leak and every 2yrs or 3 we have a small amount of freon put in it. She called me immediately and told me her great experience with this local heating and cooling guy. Said he had came out the day before and fixed her Trane unit and replaced A coil and soldered something. She had a question about something and called him Memorial Day and he came out and was working on holiday! She gave me his number and told me to call him today! (My friend is not a member of Angies list or she wuold of submitted a review too). I was a little apprenhensive because it was a holiday I didn't want to bother him, but I left a message. In 20mins he called me back and I told him my unit is running but can't keep up with extreme heat and low on freon. He said he had another stop before us but could be out in 1 1/2hrs! I said great and sure enough he showed up! Very nice and professional and fast. He went out back to our unit and I told him we had a big name company out last year to clean it and we asked them to check and fill if needed freon. The guy last year said he couldn't get the fitting loose to test it or try and fill it and was afraid he would break it! So he cleaned it and left. Jeff Hancock took cover off our Lennox and I was standing by with liquid wrench in case he needed it. He had NO problem removing fitting or nut and put his pressure gauges on and said yes your low about 2 pounds. He recharged unit and showed us the gages when it got to the 70 pounds pressure. It took about an hour in total and he explained things and gave us suggestions on new units if when we do have to replace ours and went to basement and checked our furance and explained things about our current system. He took his equipment to vehicle and wrote out bill. Very surprised he didn't charge more because of a holiday and bill was only 115.00 total!! He does not advertise and only works in Oldham county and East End by word of mouth! He has a Masters license too! Told him about angies list and going to give him a good review and talked to him for another hour before he left!! He never heard of angies but was excited and going to check it out. I have to say he is a God send and a Blessing! Very thankful to find him! We will have him replace our system when the time comes to swap old central air. We will also recommend him to our friends!! Quality of installation is critical to maximum efficiency of system no matter what you put in. His company name is PP HVAC. I recommend him highly!!
