Background: lived in this house in Kentucky for two years and then had to move due to a job transfer. It was a newly built house when we moved in. Since there were other new houses in the area we decided to rent it out rather than sell at a loss. It served as a rental for 5 years. We listed the house with one agent who took average pictures and insisted that the lack of interest was due to lack of curb appeal. As it previously had been a rental I would agree curb appeal was not all there. The agent wanted to add a flower pot to the front of the house to add some curb appeal. After 6 months with that agent and no offers we decided to change agents and went with Jason Asch based on a recommendation from our friends. Jason was excellent. He took great photos and printed out very professional brochures to sell help sell the house. Jason's marketing strategy helped sell our house even though it could have used some updates and had average curb appeal. Would definetely use him again.
Description of Work: Listed my house that was formerly a rental property and had it sold within a couple of months.

I was referred to Jason Asch through my sister. She raved about how knowledgeable he was of the real estate market and how her experience in purchasing her first home went so smoothly. I had gone through the selling/buying process once before about 10 yrs ago and was pleased with my realtor but my sister convinced me to go with Jason Asch. It was the best decision I could have made! I was looking for a home in a specific school district with some land. It was difficult to find what I wanted in my price range. I was discouraged but then fell upon a foreclosure property. I immediately called Jason to let him know that I was interested . He could sense my excitement but he warned me that these homes are not easy to get, that there will be many obstacles and could be a very lengthy and emotional process. His upfront honesty is one of many great qualities he possesses! I told him I wanted to go ahead and pursue this house. Jason put me in contact with his associate Kevin Hill. Kevin was very professional and very knowledgeable as well. It was a very lengthy process it took 6 months to purchase this home with lots of ups and downs. Their communication was exceptional if they weren't able to answer my phone call I would always get a returned call within 10 minutes. There were many times that I thought I was going to lose the house and Kevin was always there for me to answer any questions I had and put my mind at ease, he really treated me like family. I would not have made it through the process if it wasn't for my amazing realtors. Kevin and Jason went above and beyond being realtors. Unfortunately my mortgage broker was terrible at communicating and on many occasionsand quot; dropped the balland quot;. Kevin and Jason stepped in many times to make sure that things were on schedule and that I was informed on what was going on. I can say without a doubt if it wasn't for them I would have lost the house and my family would have been devastated. In addition to purchasing this home I had to sell my home in Burlington Ky. Once again Jason exceeded my expectations. His marketing skills were off the charts. The photos of my home were amazing including a virtual tour. He sent me a marketing analysis every 2 weeks. His communication and negotiating skills are superb. He sold my house in less than 6 months which is pretty amazing considering the current market. I would highly recommend Jason Asch reality ! I will definitely use them in the future!!

I had worked it out with my boss so that I could take an extended lunch. We were to meet at 12:15. At work, an unscheduled meeting took place and I texted him to let him know that I may be running a little late. I got lucky, the meeting wrapped up and I pulled up to my house at 12:17. I didn't see his car so I thought it was great that I'd gotten there first. My boyfriend was there, getting into his car. He said, you just missed him. I said really? How long was he here? He said 10 minutes. He glanced at the yard, made a quick walk through, spoke to him about the property and then left. Mind you, I am his client, not my boyfriend. I was in complete communication with him via text message. He knew I was on my way and he left. He stood me up; I never even got to meet Jason face to face. I guess that's asking too much. So, I went back to work, very disappointed that he couldn't be bothered to stick around long enough to meet me and discuss it with me. He didn't call me, he didn't text me, he didn't Email me until the next day. By this time, I'm furious with his lack of professionalism. His actions were downright rude. I told him how I felt and that I'd be contacting another realtor. In his Email back to me, he said my house wasn't marketable, he suggested I rent it or sell it with the value being in the lot. This was very upsetting to me, because obviously I disagree, but wanted to be sure so I paid an inspector to come take a look. The inspector spent 3 hours at my house and mentioned a few cosmetic things that we could do before selling it, but said that the house was marketable and he saw no reason that it wouldn't sell. Wow, I was so happy to hear this. As I got to looking at Jason's listings, he seems to like to sell newer homes, with nice curb appeal. My home is in Covington and it was built in 1949. There isn't a house on my street that has the curb appeal of the homes he's selling. I think that he left before I got there because he knew he didn't want to bother with it. So, if you have a nice home with lovely curb appeal and in the right neighborhood, Jason is your man, but if your home and your neighborhood are not so perfect, don't bother calling him. I had to pay a building inspector to prove to myself that what he said about my house was wrong. I made a mistake in calling him and it cost me money. Please don't make the same mistake that I did. I didn't give him an F, because the initial phone call was pleasant and he sent me a market analysis but it all went downhill from there.
