Knowing that our family would be moving, I contacted Kenny via email about two weeks before I would be in town to look at houses. His initial response was very prompt (within 12 hours) and he seemed very eager to assist us. As first time home buyers, we had many questions about the process that we asked via email in preparation for our first meeting and for looking at houses. Many of those questions went unanswered, but he did provide us with a list of houses for sale in our price range and instructed us to select 20 houses that caught our interest. We felt like we were going into the process a little blind with some of our questions still unanswered, but we trusted that he knew what he was doing. While interacting with him in person, his professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and gentleness really stand out. He has professional experience at every point on the spectrum (banking, mortgage loans, real estate, and building), so I felt confident in his ability to easily navigate us through the waters. The frustration we initially felt with interacting with him via email were overshadowed by the ease in interacting with him in person. He is very thorough, attentive, personable, and helpful. He was able to pinpoint what we were looking for in a house, even though we didn't really know ourselves, and by the end of the week had shown us a variety of houses that all suited our needs and most of our wants. The house we selected to buy was a short sale and, after hearing horror stories about the process and timeline of buying a short sale, we were a bit hesitant and felt overwhelmed. Kenny was able to put our fears at ease, steer us through the process, and close within 45 days (ON A SHORT SALE - amazing). As we discussed repairs, improvements, and changes we wanted to make to the house, he was able to give us experienced advice (both as a real estate agent knowing what people look for in a house, and as a builder with extensive knowledge on the construction side of things) that we trust and took to heart. He also has a WEALTH of contacts for any and every home service you could ever need, and he only recommends service providers that he has personally witnessed at work, who do quality work and don't charge an arm and a leg. Even after we settled into our new home, Kenny has continued to stay in touch and remind us that he is available for any questions we may have or recommendations for service providers. I would definitely recommend him, not only for his professionalism and his knowledge, but also for his kindness, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness.
