The project manager (Dave) was always on time and communicated every step of the way. He was even able to help me understand the insurance claim process. He even gave me a breakdown of their estimate in case the insurance company needed to know where their estimate differed. My insurance company was impressed with the estimate given the fact that they upgraded the shingles to Timberline. The materials were ordered immediately upon approval and delivered within a week. The job was completed within two weeks of approval. Their estimate was slightly higher than the insurance estimate due to the upgrades, but barely. The job was completed on the agreed date and hours ahead of schedule. The paid invoice was delivered the next day to my doorstep. Based on my experience, I would recommend this company to anyone.

Everything was done is a prompt, courtesous manner and was don't within the time frame estimated. Traffic was bad and I was called to let me know he would be somewhat late, called again to say he was on the way. I like to be informed of changes like this.

In the summer of 2003 we noticed our original roof from 1985 was definitely showing its age. Eclipse was one of the companies we contacted for an estimate. Jeff came out and gave us the lowest bid. That may be because at that time his company was brand new and we were one of his first customers, although he had been in the roofing business for years running a crew for another local roofer. The roofing crew came out and removed the old roof, replaced some rotting sheathing, drip edge and flashing that the builder's crew couldn't be bothered to install the first time. All this was accomplished in only about 2 days as I recall. We also needed new gutters and downspouts. That was handled by a different crew. After completion there was no mess or left over construction materials littering the yard. This spring, some time after the hail storms, another local roofing company sent someone around the neighborhood to setting up roof inspections to look for business. We were resistant because I could see no damage from the ground but the guy was persistent so I relented and agreed to the inspection. Shortly after the inspection the roofing company salesman called to say that there was no need to proceed any further because his inspector said he didn't see any damage and that whoever had done the installation had done an excellent job! Now I had recently become aware that something wasn't quite right with the gutters. I discovered that several of the runs of gutter were not sloped properly which was allowing rain water to collect at one end. Warranty on the installation had long since run out so I assumed I was going to have to pay someone to reset the gutters. I called Jeff just to see if I could talk him into cutting me a break on the cost of fixing the gutters since his crew had originally installed them. When I explained the situation, Jeff didn't even give me a chance to ask for a discount. He said he would have his gutter guy come out and fix the problem for FREE! About a week later the problem was taken care of. It is really great doing business with someone who stands behind their products and services 100%--even almost a decade after the sale. This is the kind of man I like doing business with and will continue to do so!

Dave is wonderful to work with. He is on time and always calls even if he is just running 10 min behind--something I really appreciate. We have had 3 other companies literally give up on our leak--saying they just don't know what else to do. This has left us not only with a leak, but a big hole in our pocket book. Dave did the bid and the work himself. It has been almost a month, and so far so good. He has called after rain just to check on the repair. We will keep our fingers crossed, but Dave has promised he will get to the bottom of our leak (if he hasn't already).

I called Eclipse to have them evaluate my roof based on last year's hail storms. Some of my neighbors ended up getting new roofs so I wanted to find out if I needed one. I also had a few noticeable issues with shingles and a gutter. Someone promptly came out and looked at my roof. He told me that I didn't need a new roof and that my issues were mostly cosmetic. I appreciated the honesty and the fact that I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me something. He had project manager Dave Hudson come out to do the repairs. Dave took the time to look over my entire roof. He took care of the issues I was aware of and a few others for a minimal fee. I felt like he was thorough, professional and honest. He was even very conscientious of the fact that I had a child napping in the house while he was here and somehow made the repairs quietly.I will definitely call Eclipse the next time I need roof work!

Even though we did not end up hiring Eclipse to replace our roof they provided outstanding service from the initial visit and also through ongoing consultations. Steve was very responsive and called to follow up on several occasions. The worked hard to accomodate our needs and find the best solution to replace our roof. I would recommend Eclipse roofing for anyone interested in roof replacement or repair.

I researched several roofing companies, before deciding upon Eclipse Roofing. They have an established business with a good rating from the BBB (Better Business Bureau). I thought they had the best rating of the businesses listed on Angie's List at that time. They are also insured and had copies of their insurance for us. I contacted Eclipse Roofing last year, but the weather turned colder. I asked Eclipse Roofing (Jeff & Steve) to wait until the following spring to do our roof, which they did without complaint. This spring we spoke again, and our new roof was installed as soon as the weather permitted. I was not pestered during the winter about the roof. Once we spoke this spring, Steve of Eclipse Roofing was very attentive and responsive. My telephone calls were either answered immediately, or returned a short time later. I was kept informed throughout the process. We were asked to move any vehicles we wished to use, while the roof was being installed, onto the street. This is because materials and a container for debris were placed on our driveway. The materials were delivered the day before the job. The container for debris was delivered the morning the crew began working on our roof, which was 26 March 2012. The roof was expected to take two-days. However, extra people were available, so the roof was completed in only one-day! Because I did not want to disturb my neighbors, the roofing crew waited until 8:00 a.m. to begin making roofing noises. I was ecstatic that the inconvenience to our neighbors was minimal. Plenty of tarps were placed on the ground to facilitate cleanup, and the mess was kept to a minimum. Clean up after the job was very thorough. I know it can be very difficult to get everything picked up from such a large project; but so far I have not found one piece of debris -- not even a roofing nail. Given enough time, I may eventually find something. A vehicle carrying ladders for the crew was parked on our driveway. That van did leave some oil spots, which were promptly cleaned up, once I brought it to their attention. Now, I cannot tell that there were ever any oil spots on the driveway. My wife and I were so pleased with the roofing crew that we gave each of them a $10 gratuity. I would have given them more, but I only had so much cash on me. Due to no one's fault, we got a scratch on a glass pane in one of our storm doors. Although I was not expecting any compensation, we were more than fairly compensated for the scratch. Thank you Jeff & Steve. Everyone, who came to our front door, took their shoes off upon entering our home. EVERYONE was so respectful and polite. About half of the money was paid when the materials arrived. The remainder of the money was paid when the job was completed. The gutters and downspouts were installed on 03 April 2012. This contract was paid the day the men completed the work. The gutters were metal, and color coordinated to the color of our house -- per the HOA (Home Owner's Association). While watching the gutter & downspout crew this afternoon, I noticed the ladder they were using was broken. Once I brought it to their attention, the ladder was replaced. Overall this was an exceptionally good experience. We could have saved money by using lesser materials, but how many times does one want to put a new roof on a house? The communication was clear, precise, and timely. The people were straight-forward, considerate, and very honest with me. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. There were NO surprises. I felt like everyone I dealt with was a professional, and interested in serving my needs. There were some very minor hiccups, which can -- and do -- happen, especially on a large job. What really pushes a company, and its' people, over the top is how it handles "problems." No matter what title a person carries, in the end, we are all problem solvers. Problem solving is why we get paid the big bucks -- and Eclipse Roofing is "A" #1 when it comes to problem solving.

I was very pleased with the company. Dave contacted me shortly after I had purchased the big deal for roof inspeciton, caulking and general maintenance, and we set up a date for that service to be performed. While on the roof, he discovered that our pipe flashings were cracked, and that had been causing a small leak in our family room ceiling. He submitted an estimate, we agreed on a price and scheduled the call. He had to postpone, and immediately contacted me to reschedule (much appreciated!). He did come out as promised, fixed the pipe flashings, shingles and needed caulking, then cleaned up all the debris. Dave was very good about communicating with me and doing all the work as promised.

I contacted Eclipse roofing to setup up an appointment for an estimate. They informed me that a project manager would contact me within 1 business day to set it up. I was contacted by Dave Hudson within a few hours and we set an appointment up for approximately 3 days out (this was due to my schedule). Dave showed up right on time and conducted the estimate. He informed me that he would put everything together and e-mail me an estimate. He did advise me that he was a little busy and that it would probably take him a couple of days to get it finished. I received Dave's estimate 2 days later. The estimate was detailed and professionally prepared. I called Dave and gave him the go ahead a couple of days later. He informed that he would order the materials and that it take approximately a week to get them and that he expected delivery on February 24th and work to begin on February 27th (barring weather). He estimated that it would take approximately 3 days to due the roof and then depending on how busy his gutter guy was, a week to have the gutters finished. The materials were delivered on time and Dave was there to help. Once again he went over the process and made sure that I understood everything that was going. Monday the 27th came and Dave and his crew showed up early in the morning and started work. The roof of my house has a top section and 2 lower sections. Dave's crew got most of the top part done. They stayed and worked a little into the darkness to get as much done as possible because rain was expected Tuesday afternoon. They came back out Tuesday morning and finished the top part of my roof before the rain started. We got a pretty good storm with high winds and I was happy to see on Wednesday morning that the new roofing held up well. Dave was once again out with his crew early Wednesday morning and it took them approximately a half day to complete the project. Dave informed me that his gutter guy would show up on Thursday to complete the gutter work. On Thursday, Dave arrived on site with his gutter guy. They had the gutters done that day and were very professional and cleaned up well. It should be noted that the roofing crew also cleaned up well and there was minimal mess while the job was being done. Overall, it was a painless and pleasant experience that was completed on time and right on the estimate. Dave also had great communication every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dave and Eclipse roofing to anyone who needs roof work. Dave is all about satisfying the customer and making them feel comfortable.

I was very pleased with the work done. Dave kept me informed as to when the work would be done and was prompt and efficient with the work and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I've given it a few months to see how the work did and I'm very pleased with the results.

Very satisfied. We had spoken about the "bump" caused by moisture accumulation but it wasn't included int he bid. I missed that and after the ridge vent was installed, I asked about it since it hadn't been repaired. Eclipse came back out and fixed that area for no additional charge even though it wasn't incudednt he original bid. I am very satisfied. We (both Eclipse and me) hope that this takes care of the moisture problem but they suggested that I not go to the expense of soffit vents until it's determined if the ridge vent has successfully solved the issue.

The roofing crew worked very fast and efficiently and did an excellent job. The entire installation only took a day and a half. Steve Buren, their salesman and project manager, was easy to work with -- answered all our questions and stayed in touch with us. During the work, he came by several times during to job to make sure things were being done correctly. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up all the trash and scraps after the job was done. The finished product is very attractive and we are delighted!

We were very, very pleased with the project. We received three bids and all were competitive. We chose Eclipse because of Steve, the project manager who also bid the job for the company. His bid and explanation were much more thorough than the other two bids and he also pointed out several additional areas of concern that we should be aware of, such as how they would handle the landscaping to make sure none of it was damaged, gutter care, clean up, and our satellite dish. Steve was on site every day. Their communication was great. They kept us informed about every step of the job, down to the last minute. The clean up was great. Steve came back for a follow up when we had a question about one of the rain diverters. The company sent out their repair supervisor who adjusted the diverter. When it came time for us to file a homeowner's insurance certification for State Farm (which gives a discount for Class 4 IR roofing), they filled out the paperwork for us. All in all this was a first-rate experience.

I called Eclipse several days before Christmas because they not only had a good rating but said they handled emergencies. Water was dripping from my light fixture and shorted the light out.Dave called me the next day and came out the following day to check the roof. He took pictures and showed my daughter and talked to me at work to recommend what needed to be done. He came to fix the leak the day after Christmas although I understood him to say that the company was not scheduling work during that week. I was impressed with their response, professionalism, and hope, of course, that the repair will work until I can get the roof replaced. I will definitely call the company in the spring to get a bid on a new roof.

Dave came over promptly and gave us a favorable estimate. A week later, he came over and did the work. Even though the job was bigger and involved more work than was originally detailed in the the estimate, Dave stuck to his price. The roof looks great, there's new decking underneath, he took off a nook that was too rotten to be saved, and applied wood trim to the corners. I need to add that Dave worked into the dark of night to get this done and on a pretty cold day.

The representative with Eclipse appeared to be honest with his roofing information based upon our research about roofing techniques and issues. We were pleased with the handling of our "page" of questions and the completeness of the representatives follow-up calls we had requested. So far we are happy and look forward to reporting on their roofing, which will be done in the coldest part of the season. A challenge we're sure, and one where we will be appreciative to the roofers.

Everything went okay. They were very nice and did a good job. I thought they were very thorough. They were good at explaining what they fixed.

This was a good experience from beginning to end. We called Jeff last year for an estimate,but could not do it at that time.When we called him this year he still had that estimate on file. The new estimate was a few dollars more because of increased price of material .Not a problem. The work started sooner than we thought and the crew was great. They were done in two days They worked non stop . The clean up was good.

I didn't use them, however I would now!

, to complete the work.I had some hail damage on my roof from the April 2011 storm. There were some dents in the metal flashing and the the ridge shingles in some areas had dents and showed signs of cracking. The insurance company (Hartford) said there was insufficient damage to justify a new roof even though many were being replaced in my development. Unable to convince the insurance company, I decided to have the repairs done at my own expense. I had several estimates. Dave Hudson was my contact at Eclipse. He inspected the roof on 10/10/11 and sent me a detailed estimate with several options by email the next day. Although not the lowest bid, he was definitely in the ballpark and his knowledge and experience made me very confident and he was very easy to work with, returning telephone calls promptly and showing up at the time promised. This was very unlike the other people I had contacted. I decide to have all the ridge shingles replaced and the dip repaired. We scheduled the job for 10/21/11 and he showed up right on time with one helper. Dave also manages large re-roof projects, but does repair work himself To repair the dip, he needed to tear off the shingles and sheeting over the dip, add additional rafters, install new sheeting, felt and shingles. He and his helper worked all day and Dave came back himself on Saturday,10/22/11. As part of the job, he also did routine roof maintenance, caulking around openings and hammering in some nails that had popped. Dave is very conscientious, a skilled craftsman, a good communicator and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him and in fact referred my son to him for a possible re-roof job

The price was competitive and the work was excellent. Included some custom work on a flat porch roof to improve the drainage. The work was completed in two days including all of the extensive cleanup of the old shake roof fragments and nails.

This was a great experience! Once the roofers arrived, the job took just under two days. Most of my neighbors have gotten new roofs this year because of a spring hailstorm. I have watched their roofers take many more days to complete the job. The Eclipse crew was outstanding in their coordination and work habits. The price was very reasonable. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the frequent and helpful communication from the Project Manager, Steve Buren. He was punctual, on top of all the details, able to answer all the questions I had, very well spoken and congenial. I never had to wonder what the next step was, or what was going on, because Steve kept me in the loop at all times. He is a tremendous asset to this company.

The work was done in conjection with Eclipse replacing my roof. Two days after the roofers finished, Jarrad arrived and completed the gutter project. As with the roofers, they were efficient, completed the work very promptly, and left a clean worksite. They hauled away all the old materials. Project Manager Steve Buren kept me informed every step of the way, from estimate to payment. As with the roofing part of the overall project, Steve is an outstanding communicator who answered my questions, and let me know what and when things would happen. He was on top of things, knew all the details, and was an exceptionally pleasant person to work with. I would not hesitate to hire Eclipse again.

I worked with Dave Hudson. He impressed me when he agreed to meet my insurance adjuster on my roof for two hours on a Saturday morning. He kept me updated throughout the roof installation process. He works with an experienced team, so the results were very good.
