Description of Work: Replaced existing shingle roof with a Timberline HD composite shingles.

Description of Work: Removed old roofing. Installed ice and water shield, underlayment, drip edge, plumbing vent jacks, new metal valleys, new step and base flashing, and timterline HD fiberglass laminate shingles.

Description of Work: I requested an inspection of my 11 year old roof for anything warranting attention (e.g. vent pipe seals, etc.). We also had a ceiling stain show-up over the winter, but it was not getting worse with spring rains, so we figured it was some kind of weird one-time snow infiltration. I called Eclipse and was promptly scheduled. Dave found the "snow problem" being a piece of siding above the attic which appeared to have never been nailed down....leaving enough of a gap for snow to blow in just the right conditions. He also found several shingles on three dormers installed backwards...so the water was running under the shingles, not over them. Lastly, all vent pipes and the furnace collar required some caulk/seal maintenance. Dave took pictures of everything and showed me exactly what the issues were....including a number of roofing nails in various areas which had never been sealed. We also discussed a condensation issue I was having in the attic, and the addition of more soffit and roof vents to improve attic ventilation. Dave suggested an 8' continuous soffit vent in one area, and we decided on 5 more regular soffit vents and 6 additional roof vents. I wanted to retain some control over this part of the process, and determined for myself where I wanted the vents.

Description of Work: Great communication and very fair estimate (did the estimate without looking/knowing the insurance claim amount). However, did not work with me on the insurance dealings and left a little $ on the table. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I first bought the coupon for roof inspection and maintenance in 2011, they found one big thing that needed fixing and I hired them to fix it. I have had them back in 2012 to re-inspect the roof, there was one area that needed maintenance. They fixed it very fast.

Description of Work: Dave Hudson from Eclipse provided an estimate for a full wood tear-off and a Timberline Ultra HD replacement. Besides being the lowest bid, Eclipse provided the most comprehensive bid service. Within two weeks the job was lined up and completed in 2 1/2 days in the second week of January. The crew was absolutely great. It was a big job on a large house. The clean-up was great and the job was perfect. Dave checked-in two to three times a day. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Description of Work: I bought my house about 1 1/2 years ago and was told at the time that the roof was only 2 years old. I found out shortly after moving in that the roof had major issues and that the company that had replaced it, had done a very poor job. The shingles had been replaced, however the decking had not. My 50 year old house still had what was probably the original decking and it was in very bad shape. I called several roofing companies out to give me quotes. Out of all of them, I felt that Eclipse Roofing was the most straightforward and honest with me even though they were not the cheapest. They did realize that price was an issue for me, however, so they found me a GREAT deal on some overstock shingles and saved me about $1000. So my roof was completely replaced, the only thing left being the rafters. Everything had to go because of all the leaks and the rot the leaks had caused.

Description of Work: The company removed two layers of previous roofing (one wood and one asphalt), laid down new plywood, new premium shingles, new ridge vents, additional soffit vents and gutters. I don't remember exactly what we spent, but I think it was around $12,000.

Description of Work: I called Eclipse roofing first, because owner Jeff Pendergraft came to my home to help my wife with an ice dam that we had on the roof that was leaking into the house, while I was out of town in Jan 2010. His timely response, quick fix, and advice to my very distressed wife was very much appreciated and I vowed to remember him/Eclipse if we ever had to reroof our house. In June of 2012, I got bids for my roof ranging from $9,000 to $14,500. After looking at all bids and judging the bidders and their advice and presentation...I went with Eclipse Roofing, mainly because of salesman and foreman Dave Hudson. Eclipse salesman / foreman, Dave Hudson, came to our house at least 4 different times before we signed a contract. He answered all of our questions. He did not pressure me for a sale. Dave was on the site when material was dropped off and stopped by twice and checked with me by phone several times in the 2 days it took to roof our home. I told Dave to roof our house, as he would his own home. He made several suggestions as to how to do things differently so we wouldn't have repeat problems. The roofing crew arrived at 6am and quit at 230pm due to 100 plus degree weather. The next day they arrived at 6am and were done with job by 12 noon. They were professional, polite, and clean cut! They ask if I had any concerns or questions while they were working. Good crew! They ripped off the old shingles to the sub roofing, putting on GAF Tigerpaws underlayment on entire roof, with ice and water shielding on all eaves, valleys, and chimney area. Applied about 34 sq. of GAF Timberline HD shingles. The roof looks great and will function to alleviate the problems we experienced with ice/rain. At Dave Hudson's suggestion...we removed old roof vents and replaced with 80 ft. of Lamanco Omni Roll Ridge venting. My wife says she can tell the difference in the heat level upstairs with the new venting! Over all we were very pleased with Dave, his crew, and Eclipse Roofing. Would recomend this company to other customers! Thanks guys!

Description of Work: Replaced entire roof with GAF Timberline shingles, new underlayment, flashing, vents, etc. A complete reroof. GAF has a good warranty system as well.
