HOMESTEAD RENTALS

We received the lease that had mistakes on it. That same day I emailed her the corrections for the lease, but never received an updated contract. We sent in a deposit and pet fee of $1750.00 - confirmed with both email and texts, and I also requested an updated lease and contract as well. We never heard back from her until she emailed us on 4/28/14 and confirmed that we could move in on 5/31/14, but we never received an updated copy of the lease. We had already given notice that we were going to vacate our home and were able to find a house on post. We contacted her on 5/13/14, and she began the phone call stating that she had some personal issues that she needed to handle, but now she was able to take care of us. We requested our security deposit and pet fee instead, and she stated that she would put it in the mail. It took another two weeks to receive our refund. She was equally uncommunicative during the two weeks that we requested the refund.
