Back in 2008, my wife and I decided to have a whole new heating and air condition system installed in our house. This included extra duct work for our family room and den. It cost a pretty penny, but the job was well worth it as it kept the entire house very comfortable. However, it was not long before we started experiencing some occasional breakdowns with our new heating and air unit. For some reason, about every six months, the heating unit would always switch to emergency heating in the winter time. also, sometimes the air conditioning coils would break down in the summer. We were under warranty for a full year and A1 did promptly come out and fix the problem every time. We were told that we needed to clean the exhaust screens more often as this might be causing the problem. We started having routine cleanings of the heating unit to prevent the problem in the wintertime. This did not seem to help. Finally, in fall 2012, one of A1's technicians hit upon the idea that it might be that whoever put in the original duct work for the exhaust did not make the duct work wide enough. Troy the over boss concurred that this might be the problem, but said they were busy with other work right now and it might be a while before they could install a new six inch wide pipe to solve the problem. My wife and I were naturally a little nervous. The company was now under new ownership and the warranty had long run out. To their credit, the company did come out and fix the problem when ever it redeveloped for free. Finally in August of 2013, they came out and fixed the problem with the heating/air unit for good, and only charged us 79 dollars for only the cost of the pipe. We have not had a problem since. If I had to fault them for anything it would be that Troy had not kept in touch with us as to when he would actually come out and fix the recurring problem. Still, I would recommend their work and their punctuality. I would definitely use them again. They honored their agreement.

I called him out on a Sunday because the hot water was coming out of the bottom of my hot water heater. He charged me $75, told me to give him $500 up front for the hot water heater because he didn't want to be stuck with it. I did, not knowing any better, as I was vulnerable. I am a single parent. The next day, he called, said his truck broke down, my young daughter was home, I was at work, said he wouldn't be able to come, she told him to reimburse me, and he only gave back $250. He didn't want to give me that back, but, my daughter was assertive. It was awful and he is very unprofessional. I lost $350. The $500 didn't even include him installing it. He wasn't on time. I give him the lowest ratings, will never use him again, and wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. He conned me into it.

IT WENT GREAT!! THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN ACTUALLY SHOWED UP BEFORE I WAS AWAKE FOR THE DAY. HE LEFT A NOTE ON MY FRONT DOOR AND WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP AT MY DOOR WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF MY CALL!! I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND HE DID AN INSPECTION OF MY FURNACE AND THEN FIXED IT VERY VERY FAST!! THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!!
