Their price was competitive. I was trying to juggle this gutter install project with an exterior painting project and they were flexible with their scheduling. They came out and removed my old gutters, then came back a few days later after the painting was done to install the new gutters. I definitely appreciated their willingness to be flexible. There were a few bumps in the road. They showed up later than expected on the day that they were going to install the gutters and couldn't complete the project so they had to come back the next day to finish. Also, their cleanup was not great. I keep finding hangers and nails around my property. In the end, they completed the job as described in the work order. Overall, the experience was average.

The workers were punctual, professional and did a very good job. The office staff was very friendly and professional as well. They came in and took care of the minor repairs for a very reasonable price and cleaned up everything before they left. I couldn't even tell they were there except for the repairs that were performed. Highly recommend them for roofing needs.

I bought the deal for 2 hours of gutter cleaning and roofing repair. Two workers were sent out to the house. They were very friendly. They did all the work I asked for and more. They also walked around the roof and fixed anything else they saw.

The quality of the work performed was fine. The issues I had were with communication. No issues setting up the initial appointment , although I am used to getting a phone call when the worker is on his/her way to my house and when to expect them. On the first day, it was raining and the roof was too step to get on when wet. The plan was to come back the next day but it was raining then as well and I wasn't home, so it wasn't clear when they would come back again. I only knew they came back because I saw a patio paver moved onto a spot where it wasn't before, and realized they used it to place under a ladder and the gutters appeared to be clean. I would've expected some kind of call or follow-up to indicate that they visited the home and completed the job with a report on what they did or what they saw. We had discussed also inspecting an overflowing gutter near the chimney and it wasn't clear if they had looked at this problem or not, but the problem recurred during a recent storm so I had to call them back and leave a message. I never got a response to my message, but randomly one day a week or so later a guy showed up at my house to look at it. Fortunately, I was home so we could discuss the specifics of the issue. I think he identified the problem and said he would speak to his manager about quoting a resolution. Haven't heard a peep since. I'm on the fence whether I would use these guys again vs. trying somebody else.

I purchased the voucher on 7/22/2016. After 6 calls (between 7/26/2016 to 8/17/2016), 3 appointment no shows and broken promises of call backs from the painter and the office, the work has not been completed. The office and painter blamed each other for not contacting me to cancel appointments.

Duane came out to give initial estimate. He had me outside with him and went over all that we wanted and all that he saw that needed fixed or replaced. Rick ,who scraped and caulked for 3 to 4 days! and then painted for another 3 to 4 days....was amazing! and Tony was fab at painting the front door. They both listened to what I wanted done. They worked with me to figure out what I liked best and what would look the best. Todd was great at replacing and repairing the wood. And Jason was the guy in charge of the project. So if I needed something done, or had a question...he was my go to. Each team that came to do their specific job was very knowledgeable, thorough, and meticulous. They cleaned everything up and were very conscientious to leave things as they were before they arrived. They also let me know when they were coming and going!!! I would hire them again. The B rating for the price is they were higher than most of my other quotes I received, but as the saying goes..."you get what you pay for" I would pay again!!!

David Hazen Group had a small army of talented guys show up at my home. They worked on the place for a better part of a month. The end result was beautiful. I would use them again!

I had a home inspection done and had many items to fix on my 40 year old home. David Hazen group came out, understood my needs, and delivered exceptional service and stayed within my budget.

Seemed a little pricey for the amount of work needed. It also would have been better for the customer if they had vacuumed the leaves out of the gutters instead of blowing them out into the yard. Booking the appoint was quick and easy.

Everyone that came out did an excellent job. They were courteous and very professional. We were very pleased.

Performed gutter cleaning quickly and neatly. Two weeks later I noticed rain water overspilling the gutter. Leo came back out and found a tennis ball lodged in the downspout. He removed it, verified that all was good and then offered to change the bulbs in our spotlights "while he was up there," all at no extra charge. Overall, great service.

My daughter was looking at her phone while driving and busted her tire. She pulled over and this company just so happened to be working at the house we pulled next to. Marty and the rest of his crew immediately rushed over to help. My daughter had a donut and a jack (but nothing to crank it with). They had a jack, and an air compressor as the donut was flat. They were so friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. I know this isn't what they commonly do as a company, but I felt I needed to let other Angie's List members know how helpful they really are. This is definitely an honest and kind team that i would welcome into my home any day.

He is bad news. He left paint in my yard. He broke the bricks I had in my yard. I gave him water hose to clean up. He left before the time was up. The way he treated me was awful.

It was fine. They do it every fall. They clean up, so that is good. They pick all the debris in the yard.

It went okay. I had to call them back out. They did have to come out twice but they were very responsive when I called them. I can't say definitely 'Yes' that I wouldn't use them or definitely 'No'. It would depend on what came up in the future that I might need...probably not to clean the gutters but if I needed some other exterior work done then, yes. I am thinking it was around $400 for everything which included the gutters on the screen porch and the cleaning.

I had leaking roof after a heavy rain. Since they had installed the roof, I called them to come and repair. It took about a week for them to come out and they immediately identified a poorly caulked window on a window that was recently installed as the source of the water entry. They removed the old caulking and recaulked. This solved the problem. They're very knowledgeable and professional.

Great job! They replaced all of the mortar on our 90 year old house. Before the repair, some of it was missing, and all of it was very soft. We wanted it all done because we were worried about a repair not matching. It looks great. The price was also significantly less than the other two quotes we received. The only (minor) issue with this company, is that their communication is not very prompt. They will call you back, but not very quickly. Other than that, it was a great experience. I will use them again.

They finally got the job done. They mis-measured it to begin with. So they had to go back and do it again. There was virtually no description with the picture that was shown on Angie's List as to the job. What I ordered through Angie's List was to have a top put on the chimney, a chimney cover of the fireplace. I showed the cover and it showed a stainless steel stack cover. After I paid the money and then I talked to them, they said I don't get the stainless steel stack cover. What we do is take the cover you have and kind of refurbish it. So when they were installing he top for the chimney cover, one of the workmen shined it a little bit, spray painted it black. They didn't have repair bolts with what they did so I went to the hardware. I myself put the new bolts in so it wouldn't wobble around. A couple of weeks later, I was told by the workmen there that they had to redo that. A couple of weeks later, I got a bill from them for another 85 bucks over and above the a thousand dollars that I'd already paid for refurbishing that. They ended up getting the cover correct and whoever makes the covers for them knows what they are doing. That cover will probably last longer than the house will.

They were prompt. The mortar matched the original chimney. I can't even tell they did a repair. They also painted with water repellent to keep the water off of the brick. The price was fine.

We had a very poor experience with this company. The people who came to clean our gutters spent approximately 10 minutes on our whole house and then left. They charged us $140 for this service. We have called to ask questions and complain several times and have not received a call back to discuss but have continued to receive bills in the mail.

Small but important repair job that no one wanted to be bothered with; except these guys. Emailed them through Angies list and got a call back in less than two hours. Explained that I knew this was a small job but wanted to get the repairs done before the weather changed for the worse. Two men were out in an hour; very professional and personable. They agreed. Small job. $150 and they would get it done today. Today! About 2 o'clock, man shows u with his truck and ladder, climbs on the roof and 20 minutes all done. This is th eway it is suposed to happen. I had contacted four other contractors, one would take a look next week, one was coming out on Saturday, never showed and never texted (as agreed); another said they don't do repairs any longer. Fortunate to find these folks and to be tretaed promptly, fairly and with professionalism.
