Great service. We had hired another company to clean our gutters and they did an incomplete job (we have a lot of trees in the back of the house and they did not clear out the worst of our leaves) and then just stopped responding to our calls and emails. Hazen came out and completed the job for a fair price. We were please with the service so asked for a quote on gutter guards - very fair price and could not be more pleased.

It’s not easy to find a general contractor you can trust. If you want a reliable company that will ensure the job is done right, this is the team. I appreciate it even more that I can come to them with any challenge and they have a solution. They will be my long-term choice as I gradually make improvements to my house.

David's crew is always on time, very professional and friendly. They have been cleaning my gutters for over ten years, and have always been happy with his service. This summer I had gutter covers installed and they did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend David Hazen Group.

I have brick ledges under my front windows that were settling which allowed water to flow towards the house as well as eroding the grout. The gentleman that came out was able to pop off and reuse my old brick and matched the grout so it didn't look odd against the old weathered grout. He also filled a large grout crack that ran the entire way up my front porch. He did a fantastic job, took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was completely satisfied at the end of the job. I would highly recommend this company. Kathy

We were given an estimate for this work (along with other chimney repairs) about two years earlier, but we just didn't follow through. Our mistake, because the new estimate was considerably more, which may be because of increased prices and/or more damage to the chimney during that time. We actually had two other companies provide estimates for the masonry repair and had put a deposit down with one, but he couldn't get us on the schedule for more than a month. So, we called David Hazen Group, and they were able to get to us within a couple of weeks. The workers were polite and gave us information we needed (e.g., the scaffolding needed to stay up for two days, and would come down on this day). I will say that from the ground, the chimney looks much better now! I only wish they had taken "after" photos of it up close--I didn't think to ask them to do that till now. We do have the "before" photos from 2016 when they first diagnosed our problem.

Great--they made sure to get the right color to match, and you can't tell the difference between their paint work and the original. This was part of a bigger water-damage-repair job; they worked quickly and cleaned up every day before leaving.

They came out quickly to diagnose what was causing a leaky ceiling in an upstairs bedroom, and took several photos to show us the problems with our old chimney. (They also cleaned out a nasty gutter while they were up there, free of charge!) Workers had to wait for a day without rain to do the work, but it was all done within a couple of weeks of deposit.

Very well....they dealt with cleary... the building manufacture.. getting the exact colors and products used back when the building was built...the crew was here every day on time ..leaving everything tidy each day...

First round was shaky. The painter did not protect things well at all and the project dragged out for weeks. However I had quotes and I thought I would let them finish the 2nd half. New painter on the second round and he was nice enough and seemed professional. However when it was discovered that the first painter had mixed 2 different colors of paint and we had to purchase all new paint. I was blamed by my painters boss. (Jason) Also when one area was not protected on the 2nd round and I had paint on my hardwood floor and wood panel wall, I was also blamed when I reported it. I never touched that paint. I actually work from home for a living with very scheduled hours and had nothing to do with the paint drips. Someone did come out and clean it after I complained a 3rd time. Ultimately very unprofessional. I would not recommend them at all. Even if the person painting is ok, if management (Jason) is going to question the customer, then its not a good business.

The David Hazen group is very professional and we are very happy with their service. They recommended replacing our chimney crown after we had another vendor put on a crown coating which did not last. They were punctual, neat and completed the job on time and their quote was very reasonable.

A little slow to get started with some uncommunicated delays but once job began the workers were excellent, respectful, hard working in very hot weather. Worked a holiday without showing their disappointment. Cleaned up well.

Two screens per louver opening were painted and sized to fit perfectly over louvers. Birds have been detered. We have used Hazen group many times to correct house problems. Although pricey, well worth the money. I have full confidence in Hazen Group.

I called on 5/23/18 to set up an appointment to get an estimate of fixing some wood rot. I got an automated response that it would be a span of 2 to 20 days to set up an appointment. Then nothing until around 5:30 of 5/31 I received a call from a representative who was on their way. The call was so broken up by poor reception it was impossible to hear. The representative then just 'showed up' at 6:00pm wanting to address the issue - NO APPOINTMENT. VERY unprofessional! I had guests and the time would not work so I sent the rep away. The only response was to note a downspout near the front was clogged. Again, no appointment had been set - very unprofessional introduction to a highly rated Angie's List provider.

They are fair , good, on time, cleaned up after themselves. They just do a great job in general.

Just great. House was built in 1955 and was not been kept up properly. Many problems with water in crawlspace, leaking chimneys, chimney caps,, and most recently, drywall repairs. We do jobs for the most part based on our needs and budget. We get a written contract with pricing before any work starts. We do all or part of the work; again depending on the need or budget.Roof and gutters completely replaced one year after hailstorm. It has been a long term relationship which has very much worked to our favor. " Call backs are rare but good response when needed. Management is highly involved. Employees are of good quality.

It was good, many delays occurred due to the heat and sub contractors schedule. They are good to work with, have done various jobs including masonry which was very good.

Work was completed as promised though timing was sometimes delayed due to weather. Price was certainly on the high side, but so was quality. Every worker was professional and communicated well.

Very nice young men. Took before and after pictures at my request. Pointed out minor issues on roof and promised estimate, which as of today 2/1/18 I have not received even after 2 attempts at calling. The only issue I have with the company is They are difficult to get on phone. I had to make 2 calls to pay the final invoice. I had to pay a down payment to get chimney cap built which I understand. However, in most cases homeowners are warned not to pay up front. This company has a AAA rating and many reviews on Angie's list so I felt safe paying deposit.
