My initial phone call was answered quickly and professionally. The plumber who would be doing the work back called back within half an hour to gather more specifics about the existing water heater. An appointment was available within 24 hours, although I opted for one a few days later. The plumber was friendly, efficient and professional in every way. When removing the old heater, they used great care to avoid any scratches or nicks to flooring, walls or doors. The work was fairly priced and the workers were the height of professionalism. I would definitely use this company again for any needed plumbing work!!!

So far, they gave us some excellent advice. The person who came was very honest, and he was truthful despite the fact that it probably cost them some money.

For the past few months, we have had an upstairs shower that occasionally leaked into the kitchen on the main floor. Then, it became a regular leak, so we decided we needed to have it fixed. We called Isley to see what they could do. The guy estimated $360 to replace the drain, and the piping. I signed the estimate and asked him to start. After about an hour, he decided he could not get the old strainer out of the stand up shower base, so he recommended that I find someone to replace the base and few rows of tile first, and then he could pipe it properly. He gave me a name. Two weeks later, after three different companies had provided quotes, I found another contractor who was convinced that the Isley guy simply got too frustrated and gave up on removing the strainer. That company ended up doing the job (for $550) by removing the strainer with little extra effort. The Isley guy did most of the hard work, he just gave up once he reached his breaking point.

They know what they are doing and they are very professional. They have been around for a long time. They are very good.

Overall, this was a very painful experience. We originally asked them to come out to install a battery operated sump pump and a main water shut-off valve for the house. Someone came out and gave us estimates based on our setup. While I was setting the appointment to get the work done, I stated we had a few other relatively minor plumbing issues we'd like the person to look at while he was here and they said no problem. The day of the apt, he installed the sump pump (which was done well and saved our basement during the spring storms 1-2 months later), as well as what was supposed to be the main water shutoff for the house. He looked very quickly at our other items, but all in all, he didn't pay much time or attention to them. He said the office had him scheduled to get to another appointment and someone else would have to come out to spend time on these issues. The installations didn't take an unusual amount of time and I was irritated by the fact that I'd have to schedule another appointment when I made it clear from the beginning what I wanted done while they were here. I'll cut to the chase...In the end, they had to send someone out six different times for one issue- to fix what was a very minor bathroom sink leak. Ultimately all that had to be done was to change the pop up drain, but it wasn't until the 6th time out that they fixed it correctly. In the meantime, we decided to have our outside hose hookup fixed while they were out again and in the course of checking that, the gentleman realized that the water shutoff valve they were supposed to have installed for the entire house was really only set up to shut off water to some of the house. And let me be clear, there was absolutely no mistaking what we wanted with this shut off valve. I discussed in detail exactly what we wanted with the estimator and installer, and it's only by chance that we found out that what was installed was not what we wanted. This could have been a huge issue if we ever had an emergency and had to get the water shut off immediately only to find that this new valve didn't do the trick. Of course they then had to send somebody else out to install the water shutoff correctly. In the end, we had to reorganize and schedule our days around appointments SEVEN different times. The sump pump and hose hook up work correctly as does the water shutoff for the house, but it was a miserable experience to get it done. The only bright spot was Rik, who ultimately got the sink and hose hookup taken care of and realized the problem w/the water shutoff.

They did a very neat job of installing the new toilet. I have used them before to change my sump pump periodically. They replaced an outside water faucet and a lot of things. I also bought a water heater from them and they did the installation. They are an A rated company. I spent a little over $600 on the last project with them.

We've used them for several years and they have always been good. It was a few years ago and the sump is still working well.

He figured out what was wrong with each of the three problems, estimated the price to fix each and I agreed before work was started. He was here on time and did a very good job. We've used them before and were very happy with their work.

Rik was very knowledgeable and professional. He needed additional parts and called to have them delivered to the house while he was here. He was challenged with the water softener since there were no papers,so after I looked up the number for the company online, he called long distance on his cell phone and went step by step to disarm the alarm and get the softener working again. He was so pleasant and helpful.

Jason, their service guy, explained EVERYTHING to us...nice and frriendly and competent. Will definitely use them again.

Initial call and response time was good called at 8:00 AM plumber was on site by 10:00AM the removed old water along with stand that had held previous water off floor. During removal one the service technician removed trim and damaged dry wall in garage. During the installation service technicians removed the feet from the new water heater and installed new water (same size and make as previous water) directly on to damp wooden floor base. When I asked why they installed the water heater directly technician stated that new water heater was explosion proof and did not need to be elevated. After they left I checked the Indiana Plumbing Code and section 504.0 and it states "Elevation of ignition source. Water heaters having an ignition source shall be elevated such that the source of ignition is not less than eighteen (18) inches (four hundred fifty-seven (457) millimeters) above the floor in hazardous locations and public garages, private garages, repair garages, automotive service stations, and parking garages." I will attempt to contact the Isley Plumbing again to see if they will correct this situation. As for now I am not a satisfied customer and can not recommend this company for services.

They did not respond to my voice mail message quickly enough for me. Their idea of an emergency and having a wet basement did not prompt a quick enough response in my opinion.

It was a good experience, and I have been using this company for years. They are competitive with their pricing.

Excellent service. We called them at 8am and they were able to send two men by 9:30am to install a new water heater and have it finished by noon! We were quite impressed by their punctuality and professionalism.

I like them....I've never had any work done by Isley - just chose them off Angies list. When I telephones them, the gentleman on the phone was very friendly & gave me a guesstimate (sp) of how much it would cost. When the plumber arrived, he introduced himself at the door and was very presentable. I only asked for a new flapper to be replaced on the commode; however, when he got here, I mentioned that our other 3 commodes needed new shut-off valves. He said he could do them now - gave me a price - and got everything done in one service call - and didn't leave a mess. I was so pleased, and they even deducted $20 for choosing them from Angies List!

I?ve used Isley many times in the past. I really think they are a great company!

We had a leak coming from our ceiling and couldn't figure out what it was. Isley Brothers quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it for a very reasonable rate. I recently used a different plumber. What a mistake. I'll never use any plumber other than Isley Brothers again.

Jason and his assistant were very professional in how they did the work and in explaining it to me. The job was completed in one day, as promised. I will use Isley & Sons again on any future plumging job.

I always use them and I give them a good rating all the way across. They are punctual and if they cannot come on time, they call and let me know. They are professional and no one is in grubby clothes. They are easy to work with.

My husband did the tile floor in our bathroom and he had to pull the toilet up and then put it down once he was done. Once he put it down, it wasn't that right so it was leaking. They came out and fixed the mess. I don't remember how much we spent, but they were very reasonable. I was shocked. They were really nice. They were punctual and they were quick. They came out and took care of it on short notice. They were good. I would use them again.
