They were responsive to the call and came when they said they would. The replacement went well. I've used them multiple times in the past and could not be more pleased with their service.

way over priced for heater and installation but we were in a bind and had to go with them. Have not had them since and other people in our neighborhood feel the same way. Reichelt was on our neighborhood service directory and they were removed because of several complaints about price.

The pipe between the shut-off valve and the meter, located in my unheated garage froze and split, because of the Polar Vortex record low temperatures. The technician replaced it, heated up the rest of the exposed pipes until the water started flowing in the house, and cleaned up after himself. Everything was completed in about 1h. The technician was very nice,and I wanted to give him a generous tip, but after paying $540.00 for replacing one pipe, I couldn't afford it. I just hope the company compensates their plumbers appropriately.

Long story made short I had two companies do it within a short time to resolve a problem. There was a minor complication and after contacting the company, Jon Kooistra followed up with Rob Sues who rectified the situation quickly and fairly. I felt it was excellent customer service.

They installed a new 50 gallon water heater, and removed the old, leaky one. The quality seems very good, and the service was excellent all around.

Technician was prompt. Did the job quickly. Was very neat. We have used them for several years for everything from clogged drains to water heater, garbage disposal and sump pump installation. They do it right the first time. They are always prompt. They are always neat.

They have been terrific! They are prompt and the technicians are very good and seem to be trained well. Scheduling went fine and they were out within a day or two of me calling. Two technicians came out to do the work and it took about an hour to complete. I am satisfied with the results.

They came out on an emergency situation. We called them at 10pm once the basement had flooded and they ended up coming at 1 am. One technician came out to do the work and it took about an hour and half to complete. The technician that came back out to install the back up pump was great. He cleaned and organized and really took the extra time to do the job right. He was great to deal with and was fantastic.

Service person was polite and recommended an enviromentally safe liquid to use on occasion to prevent this from recurring. Happy with results.

Ok the company sent a guy out and he spent four hours here. He was unable to clear the tub drain and did, however, fix the sink. He told us the tub was not fixable without tearing out the plumbing and that it was going to be, basically, remodeling the bathroom. This worker never used a snake in the tub drain. He needed equipment from us-- buckets, paper towels so on. He sold us two enzyme products that were very expensive. After he left we called another plumber who came out, rodded the tub drain with a power snake, charged a fair amount and left, having fixed the tub drain in about 20 minutes. I wrote a review and Reichelt contacted me, offering to refund our money and apologizing. We chose to pay anyway, since the guy was here and did get the sink cleared. I appreciated the offer. It made me think the company was much better than we had initially thought. Nevertheless, I think it unlikely that we will use them again. I thank them again for caring enough to contact us.

When I asked how much this would cost I was told over $500. I felt this was really expensive but felt I had no other choice. When I told him to go ahead and do the work he told me that he could probably do it for about $350. So I said great! When he finished I asked about doing another job and he went and looked at the situation and continued to keep me on the clock. It only took about 15 minutes which was a good thing because I didn't know I was paying for the estimate. When he got completely done and gave me my bill, it was for $136. So I was very pleased. I don't really care for this type of doing business. After he left I went to hook up my range and discovered I still need a piece for the gas line that I would have to drive to the hardware store and purchase. This is why I hired Reichelt Plumbing in the first place. So after 2 trips to the hardware store to get the right piece, I finally got it hooked up myself. When I called the owner of this company, between my trips to the hardware store, to find out why he didn't put the piece on I needed. The owner said he could send someone else out to my house but it wouldn't be until Monday (This was Friday) and it would cost me an additional $95. So I told him to forget it. POOR Customer Service.

I had a dripping faucet in one of the bathrooms. When I called, the receptionist informed me upfront that there would be a service charge if the company came out, offered an estimate, and I elected not to perform the work. I appreciated that they told me this beforehand. The plumber was friendly, came within the appointment time window, and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Two months later and the faucet is working just fine.

I called Reichelt Plumbing to get a quote for getting a kitchen drain cleaned. The gentleman I spoke to stated that he could have a technician respond the same afternoon between 2-5p. The technician responded at approximately 4:15p. I showed him what the problem was and he began working at approximately 4:30p. The technician was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have no complaints regarding the quality of workmanship or service. The rate for the work conducted was $180 for the first hour and $90 for each additional half hour. After the work was completed I thought we were well within the first hour. Apparently the clock starts as soon as the technician arrives not when he starts working. He was out the door before 5:30p but I was charged an additional $90 for the extra few minutes spent cleaning up and doing paperwork. I even spoke to him about adding a sump pump backup which I should have waited till after the work was done. Those few minutes cost me $90. Be very aware of the one hour time frame and do not hesitate to speak up. This company will not hesitate to charge you. I would recommend you determine the exact time the clock starts and watch the clock very carefully. Do not ask questions or distract the technician because you are on the clock. You will get charged for the full one half hour of $90 even if it's just a few minutes after the first hour. This job should have easily been completed in well under one hour. I will contact another company to install my sump pump backup. I paid the bill in full but they lost a customer and I will not recommend Reichelt to my friends and neighbors.

I called on a Friday and the plumber came early on Saturday and fixed the problem.

Our basement drain was backing up with sewage so we called a few people and either got no answer or a lot of run around. Reichelt answered our call right away and within an hour had a technician at our house. He was professional and thorough and found the problem that two other plumbers kept overlooking (or they were doing temporary fixes so we would keep calling back). We are confident that our issue was resolved and will definitely be using them as our plumbers from now on.

I called and Sam was here within an hour, he was professional explained everything very well and did an awesome job. We've had plumbers here for the same problem in the past and he basically cleaned up what they kept leaving behind. ( A huge ball of roots). This is the first time we weren't left with an uneasy feeling about whether the job was really done right or not. We will definitely be using them for future plumbing services.

We discovered our water heater not working one evening, when all plumbing companies were closed, so I checked Angie's List and chose 4 highly-rated ones, including Reichelt. Wanting to get the water heater fixed ASAP, I faxed these companies, describing the problem, around 11:00 PM so I would be among the first customers on the following day's schedules. Reichelt called me around 8:00 AM the next day, and I spoke to a very nice lady who said someone could be out between 10 AM and 1 PM. The technician called around 9:30 and said he would by at my home in 45 minutes, which he was. After assessing the situation, he gave me several options, including replacing the heater. After reviewing the options and their costs, I chose to replace the heater, and I feel I got a better product than what was originally installed in my home when it was built 7 years ago. Vince completed the job when he said he would and did an excellent job, working hard the entire time. He didn't try to rack up more minutes by dogging it like some contractors may do. I could tell he took pride in his work and the results showed. After purging the air from the water lines, some of the sediment clogged our kitchen faucet, which Vince worked hard to fix. He wouldn't leave the house, though, until this problem was corrected, and I was impressed with that and his perseverance. Plus, he didn't charge me more because the clogged faucet was a result of the water heater sediment in the copper pipes. I am confident some plumbers would try to charge more for this additional work.. I will definitely use Reichelt again for my plumbing needs and will tell our friends and family about them too.
