Description of Work: "Mr. Wolf examined my roof, which had structural problems that appeared to make the hip ridges sag at the outer ends and make the roof appear to have ski jumps at each corner. He inspected the roof structure and immediately diagnosed the problem. He provided a cost estimate within a few days for the roof work and installation of new, higher capacity, gutters, that I consider to be quite reasonable and started the job shortly thereafter. |He and his assistants performed the job within a few days in a very workmanlike manner, kept me informed of his progress throughout, cleaned up the area and hauled away the debris as the job progressed. The final bill was as estimated. I am very satisfied with his work and would recommend him for any such undertakings. I'm confident he is capable of performing in a similarly competent manner on jobs of greater magnitude than mine."

 + 1 moreMr. Wolf and his helper were very professional and completed the work in about 3 days. Everything went well. They were very neat and covered home furnishings while they painted the wall and ceiling where water damage from leaking sky lights had left its mark. When they painted the ceiling, they remove heat vents and lowered light fixtures to paint the ceiling and replaced them after the paint was dry. Two new sky lights were installed and they gave us the option of different molding around the inside of the lights. Since the had to replace roofing tiles around the new skylight, the matching of the color and style of the roofing material was important and they did a great job in matching it. I did not answer the cost question sinse this was an insurance payment for storm damage.
Description of Work: repaired storm damage to my daughter's home,roof, interior and replaced downspouts with larger ones

 + -1 moreSeveral difficulties with water damage occurred three years ago and repairs were made by ANOTHER FIRM and their work was extremely defective. Mr. Wolf and his assistant took pictures of the roof problems and showed them to me. They totally rebuilt my chimney, repaired a gutter, repaired defective siding and installed a great looking roof. I have never met more capable, experienced, considerate and thoughtful people. Mr. Wolf's assistant, Jim Redstone, was even kind enough to climb up to my high living room ceiling to repaint a previously repaired spot to paint it to match the rest of the ceiling. They replaced all the roof vents that were plastic and cracked with aluminum ones. The builders of the house (twenty-two years ago) had failed to install two important vents but Wolf Builders discovered the error and added the new vents. I would re-hire them in a heart beat.
Description of Work: The main thing that was done was to put a new roof on my house. They also repaired a chimney, fixed a bad gutter and repaired house siding.

Description of Work: Wolf Builders came out and fixed my roof and leaking chimney. They also gave me advice on a kitchen remodel. They were freindly, curtious and very clean. Their pricing was excelent and the job was done to perfection. I would recommend Wolf for any work or remodeling needed around the house.

 + -1 moreIt went really well - they are a great company just a little hard to get ahold of sometimes for the initial call. We used them for the gutters because they were so great about our roof leak...they made lots of attempts to repair the rubber boot around a venting pipe in the roof. The first couple of times when they just caulked it and tried a few other quick fixes they didn't even charge us...then when they finally told us we'd have to replace the whole boot the price was very reasonable. Then later when hail damaged the same boot they fixed it again with no charge. Then we hired them to replace our gutters and they did a great job on that too - communicated well with us during the whole job. These are great guys and I would use them again and recommend them in a heart beat.

 + 0 moreThe overall experience and the interaction with him was great. I would tell the others that he is definitely worth hiring. His price was way less than I thought and so that was a very good thing. I was expecting the price to be close to $1500. It was really good. He was great.
Description of Work: I used Wolf Construction for taking out part of my kitchen cabinets, so that I could get a new stove and then install 1.19 brand new electrical fore hearths. He took out the old and installed the new 1.25. The person's name is Bill Wolf.

 + -1 moreBill Wolf responded to my emergency needs as no one has ever done before. Bill and his crew did an excellent job, on time, on budget. Quality of work was great and cleaned up after the job was done. The only evidence that anything was done, was the new roof. Great job. Bill was very professional and handled the situation promptly. I was under a critical deadline to complete the job for a pending property sale, and Bill's response could not have been better. I would recommend Wolf Builders to anyone and will use them again.

 + 0 more..the experience was terribly i have had this kind of thing happen before but not this amount of $$$$$ i feel held hostage i want it fixed but i trust him to back and do it correctly
Description of Work: had the contractor come out to replace my roof (storm damage) as they looked round i told them that any wood they found to be rotten to go ahead and replace it that them moved us to the next level (painting). so we got a new roof, R-11 siding,roof decking, gutters and painting of the house. a year after the job was completed i was in the attic and found that when they installed the ridge vent instead of cutting the ridge they beat it out with a hammer. so now i am looking around i go to my girls room and access the attic i pull some insulation away i found where the contactor had fallen through the roof and instead of repairing it properly with roof decking they patched it with gutter material i called the contractor he came out and did the repairs... i asked him so what else is wrong with the roof that i don't see???? this year i am getting honey bees in my eves and chip monks in the attic so i start investigating and i find the contractor has not put drip edge on the roof..this is the reason i am getting critters in my house

He told me he could make the repairs, but it would be for a flater roof and it would lead to trouble later down the road. Others had told me they could handle this and never mentioned this issue. I appreciated his honesty and openness about this. I did not chose his company, but I would call him again if needed.

 + -1 moreThey did a very good job. They were also licensed, bonded, and insured. They were able to do the job all on 1 day. They did come back to do some touch up work on the flashing because when they did it it was getting dark. Their prices were the best on anyone who quoted me. He was very attentive and aimed to please. They even offered to go to his showroom and brought out samples. They also give a 2 year warranty on their workmanship where as most of the companies only give a 1 year warranty.

 + 2 moreThey were extremely professional and reliable. The gentleman in charge and all of his workers were great to deal with. They did a wonderful job. I have used them in the past and haven't ever had any problems.
Description of Work: I hired Wolf to replace my gutters, downspouts, flashing, and a broken window. They also replaced my entire roof and they also replaced a garage door. Everything had to be replaced because of hail damage. The price of the job was originally $13,000, but I only had to pay $500 because my insurance covered the rest.

 + -1 moreBill came out very quickly to do his estimate. His bid was very competitive compared to other bids. Initially, his crew appeared very punctual, professional, and were good workmen but near the end of the job they became sloppy. There were several segments of the roof that had to be redone. Bill did make it right and even reduced his charge. But it was really a hassle to have to check-up on the workmanship of his crew.
