Wentico & Co LLC

After repeated attempts to contact the company and submitting a report to Angie's List, we were finally contacted by Caleb Townsend. At first Caleb tried to schedule the flooring service for an August 2011 timetable. We informed him that would not be acceptable. He then rechecked his work schedule and managed to fit us in for May 25, 2011. From that point on, we were very impressed. The crew that came to perform the service were very professional and extremely dedicated to completing the refinishing of our hardwood floor. They worked very hard and diligently to complete the work in a timely manner and were great to work with. Many kudos to the work crew! The floor refinishing was finally completed May 28, 2011 and I would say, we were totally satisfied with the results. We would definitely use their services again.

They were very professional and on time to meet me for the estimate. They gave me a quick quote on what the job would be, but I chose a different company to do the work for me. I chose them in the first place because they were listed on Angie?s List. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They did a good job. It took a long time for them to start the job. I think I waited too long. They said that they were waiting for the floors to come. Their service, clean up and everything was good. I didn’t have any problems. I have a bump on my floor in one area so I called the owner about 2 weeks ago and I didn’t hear from him. I called him again and he said that he would call me on Monday, the 9th of May between 10 to 11 and today is Tuesday, the 10th of May and I haven’t heard from him yet. I need to make a call and follow up to know what’s going on and check he would be coming and things like that. He sounds like he’s doing a professional job, but I don’t know why he’s not responding. They were good and they did a good job. There’s a bump and it kind of bothers me. I just want him to come and see and let me know what’s going to happen, if he needs to fix it or it would go away or something.

My experience with Wentico & Co LLC Company was fine. The quality of the install done was excellent. The workers who came out were very professional. They were punctual and very responsive. I would use Wentico & Co LLC Company in the future.

I thought the price was very reasonable. We had some initial communication issues with them because they had one of those deals with them. They were overwhelmed with the amount of work. Once we finally got them out here, they did an excellent job. They were very personable and very conscientious. They were very meticulous. The floor looks really good. I would use their services again in the future.

Sanding operation was very clean because of the equipment that they used which sucks up the wood dust through a HEPA filter. Initial sanding, sealing and coating were all done within a 3-day period. Due to glare and various lighting patterns there were missed spots. Claude promptly came back two more times to coat the missed spots as we discovered them in various lighting conditions. We would definitely have them perform work for us again.

They did a great job - I cannot complain at all about the work. I bought two of the Big Deal offers from Angie?s List, so that was $250. I spent another $750 on top of that. I chose them because of the Big Deal offer. The deal that they had put out said it was $125 for 100 sq. ft. of flooring. I assumed that since I had bought two of them, it would cover 200 sq. ft. of the flooring. I probably have more than 200 sq. ft., but even if I had double and if it was regularly worth $250, then it would cost me probably $500 totally. It wound up costing $1000 even though it was less than 400 sq. ft. I was surprised at how much more it was. When he came out he said that he would have to use a certain sander over in one place and do steps over in another. Because of the offer, I had not gotten any other bids, so I don?t know if the price was reasonable or not. I should probably have gotten an estimate from another provider before buying the offer. I don?t think there was enough information on what I purchased through Angie?s List to understand how that pricing was coming in. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary, but I would go about it a little differently.

The experience was pretty close to perfect. They told us what they were going to do, and they did it. They always got here on time. They kept the workspace clean. When they left, everything was always picked up. Their price was fair. I thought the owner, Todd Wentico, was very honest. He backed up what he said. We liked their presentation, so we chose them. Their workers were honest. If we had questions, they answered them. If we had something we didn't like, they worked with us and listened to us. Our house is really uneven, and they made it look even.

We purchased the special advertised by email from Angie's List to have the hardwood floor refinished. We have tried numerous times over the last 3 weeks to contact Wentico to set up a time to have the floor completed. When calling the number listed on the contract, all we get is an answering machine but no way to leave any messages, that occurs everytime we call. We have also sent an email to the company, using the information listed in Angie's List. We have not received any response whatsoever. I also tried finding another way to contact them by searching the internet but there is nothing out there that gives an alternative email or telephone number. This is the first time we have participated in one of Angie's List specials and quite frankly, we are completely disappointed. We have 3 other 'specials' that we have already paid for but not used and we are wondering if they will be honored or if we will have the same problems as we have experienced with Wentico.

He came out and that our floors were not hardwood. His equipment could not go on the subfloor. He offered to put down floors for us. He told us what to look for and to buy. He was prompt and very friendly and very professional.

We had really dirty carpet. Really dirty carpet. Lots of stains. Food, beer, dirt. We're not the sort of people who make guests take their shoes off when they come over. I don't think the carpets had been cleaned in at least 3 years. But, Wentico came out and cleaned all of it and it only took an hour and a couple hours to dry.

I got a half-price deal from one of the social networking groups. The person who came out was very nice and very polite. He came out very early. He cleaned three rooms, but my carpets were saturated with water. I think the machine that he used was not the best. It did not suck all the water from the floor. I would probably not use Wentico & Co. again because of this problem. Their price was excellent, though.

The person was late arriving and did not call in advance of being late. He had a small piece of equipment and left our carpets very very wet. He used our water and was not particularly careful about our facilities. He did not move any furniture. Would not use them again.

They were awesome. They were efficient, punctual, and had a great price. I got a special deal. I paid $35 for cleaning the carpets. I had a great experience with them. They were polite and punctual. They did a great job overall. I will use them again in the future.

Technician was very helpful over the phone said all homes have mold and he scheduled a time to come out within just a few days of the initial call. He was very informative and had a very matter of fact approach to the problem. I scheduled the service and they did a nice job at a reasonable price.

We originally thought we would put new flooring over the wood because the wood was so damaged. When we talked to Todd, the owner, he said he was sure he could restore it. His crew, Danny and John, worked feverishly to get rid of the stains but couldn't do it so suggested they replace a few of the boards. I was concerned because it is an old house and I wasn't sure they could match the oak. They did and it looks terrific! It is impossible to tell what is old and what is new. They were very careful about the sanding and coatings, waited enough time between each process for the wood to dry, cleaned up everything as they went along - and were really delightful to work with. I highly recommend the company and would definitely use them again.

Todd came out to a house I was interested in purchasing to give an estimate on refinishing the reports. In fact, he came out about an hour early accidentally. Because I wasn't home he gave me a call to let me know. He didn't rush or push me to get back which I though was great. When he did view the floors he was more than forward with what would need to be done and his process. I learned a lot. He wrote up the estimate and handed it to me then and there. His price was great and really helped me in deciding to buy the house. I hope all of my experiences go this smoothly.

This was the easiest process. I found Wentico on Angie's list, and scheduled an estimate with the owner, Todd (very nice man). That same afternoon, after receiving my bid, and discussing this with my husband...BAM...I booked the refinish for the following week, while I was on vacation. We came home to beautiful floors!

I paid $1368 for that work and that was fine. They did good work and were very professional. There was a spot that they came back and redid for me right away because it was small area that still had discoloration.

They were pretty reasonable in cost. They literally just finished, so the carpet is still wet and we're not quite sure about the quality of the work. They were on time and were only here for about 2 hours. They were very courteous, prompt and it looks like they probably did a good job. From what I can evaluate, they did a good job and would possibly use them again in the future.

This was easily one of the best remodeling experiences I have had. The company owner, Todd Wentico, arrived on time and explained our options for refinishing or replacing the existing floor. We chose replacement. The two installers who performed the work were on time, highly skilled, and very careful in minimizing disruption and dust during the tear out and installation. Tear out took one day, and installation of the new hardwood floor took most of two days. There was a lot of intricate cutting especially in the closet and bathroom, and the finished product surpassed our expectations. Price was also very reasonable, especially in view of the scope of work performed. The contractor went above what was required by eliminating the squeaky floor, which we had not specified. All work was completed on schedule, and the work-site was left very clean. Based on my experience, I recommend Wentico & Co. for an Angie's List award for outstanding customer service.

I am so pleased with the wonderful job Eric (the tech who actually cleaned the carpets) did on my carpets; in fact, he even arrived little early. I used Wentico because of my initial contact with Claude. I had not heard of this company before and I will be sure to use them again. I would highly recommend them. Claude certainly made a good first impression with me!!

They did a great job. One of the best carpet cleanings I ever had. They were a little on the expensive side, in fact they had the highest bid. But they have done far and above the best job I've ever had.

I use them repeatedly because they do a good job. They provide a prompt service, with no need for me to be there while they work. They were very self directed and didn't need to be watched over at all. I'll absolutely continue to use them.
