The services were performed in a professional manner. I would recommend Wellman Exteriors to friends and neighbors.

They did a fine job but we noticed the next day they missed a spot on the side of the deck and they said they would come back to cover it. After several emails and a phone call I gave up they never showed.

They did a good job and they made sure they stayed within budget of the deal. They were on time and everything went well.

Overall I was pleased with the work performed by Wellman Exteriors. They arrived on time. Performed the work as I instructed it be done. They cleaned up the debris and left the yard in good order.

Company calls ahead to schedule and depending upon weather conditions arrives on time and completes their work. The company calls if the job cannot be done and reschedules. Very polite and accomodating.

Excellent service! Wellman came out and provided same day service. They reviewed the deck and our requests for repairs. They evaluated the deck. Then, they went the extra mile. They went out and purchased the needed materials (and only charged us for the material). Fast, friendly and efficent! Highly recommended.

Wellman Exterior was very easy to work with. They gathered the information they needed from me via email before anyone was sent to do the work. They were careful to only stain my deck and nothing else. The job site was left clean. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. Excellent work!

Fine. They came when I was not home and cleaned out my gutters.

The main point I want to make is that a major storm came through Indianapolis days before this Big Deal became available. Wellman Exteriors still managed to fit me into their busy schedule due to my availability issues. All the members of the crew were professional and dedicated to performing exceptional service.

The crew called about hour before arriving and they showed up about a half hour early. There was a crew of 3 and all were professional and polite. They worked hard and finished on schedule. They did an excellent clean up and left nothing behind. Overall we were very pleased and would use their service again.

Came even though we were not at home and performed the gutter cleaning. Glad they took the iniative to get the job done.

The entire process from start to finish was great, no issues at all.

Wellman safely removed 7 trees from our property. Very personable. They quickly identified the trees to remove. And their clean-up was amazing! Thank you!

It took approx 3 weeks for Wellman to return calls. They missed their 3 intial commit dates to do the work (cost me 2 vacation days). Once on our property they severly damaged 2 very good trees that are now un repairable (still in yard). Will cost me hundreds of dollars to now replace. I paid SAME day Wellman did work and they promptly cashed check at bank (have receipt from bank). I was emailed and called that I did not pay. I stated I did pay and had formal documentation ie signed receipt AND paid / deposited documentaion from Chase bank.. Wellman (Chris) said he doesnt show I paid and they need me to "prove" I paid. I stated the account number of check that the check was deposited to. I told Chris it is their problem to seek this out within their accounting group...he said no, it is MY problem. VERY rude. Do not suggest this company as will not only cost you money to do work, but could cost you well beyond due to damage done on your site, as result of their work. Not organized and need to look how a company is to managed.

There was some confusion with the scheduling of the service, but once that got resolved - the work performed was excellent. Great job of trimming our trees and very nice clean up afterward.

They postponed our first three appointments. Then, after showing up late, they told me that they wouldn't be able to cut down my tree with the Groupon I had purchased. Their communication was poor and the deal they offered was incomplete. It was an inconvenience for me and I would not use them again.

They were able to get me on their schedule very quickly even though they were very busy. It seemed to take no longer than a week for them to come to do the work. They showed up promptly and and did the project exactly how it was described to me. They removed all of the things from the deck for me and protected the plants from the pressure washing and chemicals. They showed up even on the hottest days of the summer and worked cheerfully! They were very polite and courteous. The only additional expense was for the sealer they used, but the coupon was very reasonably priced and all inclusive.

We signed up for the $400 worth of tree service for $199 special. We set up a date and they came out punctually and performed the jobs that we described to them (tree service :cut off some large dead branches from several trees). They also cleaned the gutters for us. They cleaned up after the work and everything looked really nice! We were very pleased with the work and would hire them again.

They have been terribly difficult to get in touch with and even after saying they would come by for an estimate, I never heard back from them. I wanted to get a refund, but Groupon only gives credit.

Scheduling was a pain, but they eventually got all my gutters cleaned out. I'll consider using Wellman again, but I won't if I see they have coupon.

I purchased the the Angie List special for unlimited gutter cleaning for $99.00 on 9/2/12, over Labor Day weekend. At the time of purchase I provided my contact information to set up the appointment and the receipt indicated I would be contacted within 48 hours or two days (I don't remember specific which it said). As it was a holiday week, I figured it would be at least Thursday (two working days) before I would hear anything. By the first of next week (on the fifth working day after purchase) I still had not had contact with the company so I made contact with them asking when I would hear from them to set up an appointment. I received a response by e-mail on 9/11/12 asking for my phone number, which I provided immediately back by e-mail. I then received a second e-mail on the same day wanting my address and zip code so they could schedule the work. Again I responded immediately back by e-mail. This was the last I heard from the company until I made contact with them again on 9/18/12. On the afternoon of 9/18/12, I had come home early from work arriving at 12:30 pm and when I was outside I looked up at the gutters and the house was streaked with dirty from the gutters. It had rained hard the night before and I thought to myself, "those gutters overflowed again in last nights rain." I e-mailed the company and asked when they would be coming to clean the gutters out. It had now been 15 days since I purchased the service. I received an e-mail back a few hours later indicated the crew had been out to clean the gutters earlier than afternoon. As I had been home since 12:30 pm and my adult daughter was home all morning and she said she had not seen or hear the crew, I didn't know what to think. I then e-mail the company again on 9/18/12 and asked what time exactly had the crew been there and what had they found since I had been home in the afternoon and knew it had not been that afternoon. I received an e-mail back later that night with the response that it had been in the morning and the crew leader reported the gutters were "clean" and there were no issues found . There was no sign that anyone had worked on the gutters except for the mess on the house and upon further investigation the mess left on the deck and patio on the backside of the house. When I went out to pick up the mail for the day, there was an invoice in the mailbox with a business card from the company indicating they had cleaned the gutters and downspouts and that I had already paid in full. Although it has not rained since the cleaning, I am wondering why the gutters where overflowing and no blockage was indicated if the gutters were "clean" at the time they did the work. Overall, I am not impressed with this company. There contact was slow, they did not let me know when they would be there so I could be home, they left a mess for me to clean up and they left a very unprofessional looking invoice in my mailbox which provided no feedback on what they found when they performed the work. As it is a federal criminal offense to put the invoice in the mailbox it is also unprofessional, in my mind, and it should have been folded neatly and left on the door in an envelope at the very least. Instead it was wrinkled and in the back of the mailbox because the postal mail was delivered after the invoice was placed in the mailbox. I guess time will tell if the gutters continue to overflow when it rains but I am confused how the gutters could be "clean" as reported back to me if they were overflowing when raining. If they were "clean" as reported, why would I have spent the money to have them cleaned if that was the case.

Called Wellman on July 30 and spoke with Brian who informed me the Angie's List Big Deal was a huge success and he couldn't do the work until the end of August. When I mentioned the clogged gutters he said he would try to work me in. I agreed the work could be completed any day, any time of day and I did not need to be at home to simplify doing the work. During the next month through September 5 I called 5 times to see when the work could be done. Everyone I spoke to in the office or IF someone called me back were very polite. However, call back times ranged from 2 days to never. Finally on September 8 I asked Angies List to refund my $99 and they said they would within 10 days. Today, September 18 a very polite gentleman called saying he would arrive in 15 minutes and I agreed to have the work done despite my irritation/aggravation. Conclusion: Gutters were cleaned and as far as I can determine cleaned properly, however, the effort was not worth saving a few dollars. It is apparent the company was ill-prepared to handle to volume of business or is grossly incompetent. Whatever the reason, I cannot recommend the company and do not intend to do business with them again.

No impress with service. Smoking on the job, slow and not worth the money spent. Will not use again.

I purchased 8 (eight) hours of tree trimming service for Wellman to trim trees and bushes in my yard (a Groupon coupon deal). The company failed to return my first two calls to set up an appointment for the work to be done. When I did get an appointment (nearly a month later), the company failed to show up on the scheduled date. I called the "office" several times and was given stories about how busy they are, and that they would be there at 3:00 in the afternoon. When I asked them how they plan on doing 8 hours of tree trimming in the dark, the office personnel let me know that the eight hour deal was really for 4 hours (2 men for four hours). The Groupon deal never used the term MAN HOURS. The crew never showed up on the scheduled date and they advised me to reschedule. I insisted that they arrive the next day and all I got were arguments until I told them that I was an Angie's List member and I thought that this deal was a scam. They then decided to get me on the next day schedule. (Of course I wasted an entire day waiting for them to arrive already). Next day: Two men arrived at 12:45pm ( Chris Coolidge-Head of Operations and Anton) which would imply that with 2 men working 4 'man hours' that this crew should be working on my property until 4:45 p.m. . Four of the five trees were trimmed well, one bush trimmed (height only- width was not trimmed or shaped). The crew started to get into their truck and drive off at 4:00 p.m. and I walked out and told them that there were still dead limbs in one of the trees and that they had not trimmed the bushes at the front of my house. They told me that they always use one 1/2 hour to go to the dump..... but they will finish the work if I want them to. I told them that I wanted the work completed. They completed trimming the tree and trimmed the tops only of the 5 bushes and left my property at 4:30 p.m. Anton worked his 4 man hours well since he clearly was doing the bulk of the work. Chris spent time in his car at least twice talking on his cellphone (* 1/2 hour less of his man hours). Clearly this was a bad experience. I was told by the office personnel ( Brian O'Connor and Patrick Williams) that the company sold too many Groupon coupons - "they wanted to sell 150 and the deal attracted 1500 customers") OOPS! It seems to me that this company needed to hire more workers to fulfill the orders. When I requested to speak to Mr. Wellman, I was told that he is not able to return my call or address my concerns. The majority of the staff members of this company appear to be unprofessional. Anton being the professional.

Went fine. Expect three trips for this kind of service. First is the estimator that figures out the job. Second is the power washing, then that has to dry a couple days. Third is the staining, which had a bigger crew. Did have a little scheduling challenge as I think they schedule that morning or at minimum the day before. I had a date set and had asked off work, they called the day before and had to move the date. Likewise the day they were to stain I thought I had a morning appt but they came in the afternoon. Note though this summer was probably difficult for them due to the drought restrictions and trying to keep a power washing business going. Ranked an A for their final results.
