The contractor arrived on schedule and completed the work on time. Since the hole in the siding was located high up close to the ceiling behind the gutter, I did not get to review the quality of work.

Exterior of gutters and siding were dirty/showed evidence of debris being flushed out of gutter. Had to clean this myself.

One of the workers began to trim the treeline of the woods back. The other two workers began attempting to cut the tree down. One worker began the job, and after a while, the other worker took over, indicating he didn't think the first worker knew what he was doing. Took them a very long time to do what I thought should have been a pretty easy job. They seemed unsure of the best place/method to cut the tree down. They didn't inspire confidence in me.

I have used Wellman for gutter cleaning twice before and was generally satisfied. I tried to get a "Big Deal" cleaning when I called them in late March primarily because one gutter kept overflowing even though I had gutters cleaned by them in late November, 2012. I was told that I was inelible for the special $99 since I had used them before. I was told that I would have to pay $119 for a simlar cleaning. I agreed primarily because of one gutter and downspout that appeared clogged. I told them that I definitely wanted to be there to explain the situation, and I wanted a few small branches pruned that were overhanging the roof. They came out without notifying me in advance and cleaned the gutters but didn't address the one primary gutter issue. When I called, they said that the gutter in question needed to be "remounted"--at an additional cost of $150 which they reduced to $100. They said they should be able to prune small branches. They came out on 4/17 and made gutter repair. They also trimmed a few small branches and added an addtional $25 charge although that had never been discussed in my previous communications. Overall, I was disappointed in the way this entire process took place, and this should have all taken place during the initial visit if they had let me know when they were coming. Overall, I feel charges were excessive for what was acccomplished.

This was refunded because they said they could not do the work we had asked them to do. As I recall the trees were to tall.

They cut and trimmed all trees and shrus that i wanted trimmed for the price of the "Big DEAL" WITHIOUT ANY FURTHER CHARGES> They did not recomend any further work or give details of charges.

They arrived on time, finished the work, cleaned up after themselves and left within a few short hours. I was very pleased and will happily use them again.

It tolok a couple of weeks to get them out to do the job but, they showed up when scheduled. They did a nice jhob trimming my trees and they did an excellent job of cleaning up any mess that they made. I would use their services again.

We've used Wellman to clean our gutters the past two years, and have been very happy. They respond promptly to both phone and email communication and are willing to work to your schedule. We will definitely use them in the future.

I bought a Big Deal from Wellman Exteriors Inc for Deck Maintenance on a 12x12 Patio. There was more work than the Big Deal covered so I paid an upcharge for that. I was out of town and not happy with the work that they had done. They needed to use clear coat on the patio deck, they didn't strip or clean it sufficiently. At that point I told them I expected them to tell my wife they needed a stain. They went ahead and put the clear coat on and it looked like hell. They had just washed and left the old material behind. So I had to restrip the whole thing and use a color sealer. I was disappointed. I called them up and they said, well, you put Clear Sealer. I need to say, they did do what they had been instructed to do. If I had been there in person I could have managed it. I would tell people that if they decide to use this company, be sure to be there and manage the whole thing, or you may not get what you agreed upon initially.

Fine, the y did it when I was not home

We used an Angies list coupon to get half off tree service and some work on our porch (replace a post that was defective). The crew were nice folks and timely but were ill prepared for the quoted service. The gentleman that repaired the post did a decent job but discovered issues besides the post. This could have been remedied with a better inspection when the initial quote was done. This could have saved time and money in repairing something only half way. The MAIN issue were some limbs hanging over our garage and house which was why the initial contact was made. The crew had little equipment to deal with the situation and I was actually afraid for their safety as they debated which way to drop a limb that was several hundred pounds over my roof without damaging themselves or the roof. They brought a post hole digger (but the replacement post was actually on a finished porch) and some ropes and a chain saw. I might suggest that the communication between estimator and workers be much better implemented by the company. For example, pictures of the site so the crew is aware of what is to be expected and perhaps better inspection by the estimator. Possibly even a call by the crew before arriving to discuss the situation if this hasn't been taken care of by their management. As it is we stopped the limb trimming before it was completed to our satisfaction due to the fact that we were concerned about their safety and our roof. I waited to report this as I have no ill will for the crew that came out here. It was just bad communication and lack of equipment that caused this to become a bit of a boondoggle.

Well, I wasn't expecting them to be on my roof, using a blower to blow the Leaves out of my gutter. I was not prepared for them to be physically actually on my roof, because of their procedures. I have to clean my gutters now. I was kind of unprepared for that. They did a good job, they did blow a couple of the screens of the gutters and I wasn't able to put them back on, so I had to find somebody else to do that because of my physical limitation. As they were doing that, they need to take more care for doing that. But all in all, they did an okay job. They were prompt and they were there on schedule time; they finished their work in a timely manner. They did not charge me anything extra and they did what they were supposed to do and then they left.

The service was fine, but it took forever to get them to come out and get the job done. They made multiple appointments and broke them, but once they got out there they did good work.

I purchased a big deal, and was contacted to have the service scheduled within just a few hours of buying it. They were able to get it scheduled within a few days, and could accommodate my inability to be there while performing the work. They verified which trees I wanted removed over the phone, and completed the work within the time period they had expected. I was very pleased, everything was cleaned up and was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely use them again.

While the company was apologetic, they failed to show up for an appointment service times--explained that volume of Angie's list business was overwhelming. Workers were pleasant. When they came to perform service, they were here for less than the time the deal specified--that does not matter, IF they actually removed all the deadwood in the trees they worked on. We can't tell yet, because by the time they came, most trees had dropped all their leaves, so we cant' tell dead from live, yet. Hope we are satisfied come spring.

There were problems scheduling. Initial response was slow. Once we connected, a date was set. Workers were prompt, professional and courteous. Pleased with the results.

It went well enough. They removed 3 younger pine trees and trimmed up 2 medium sized trees. They did not have the equipement to do a full trimming and they certainly weren't arborist, but the work was completed.
