While Jeff may be good at showing properties, he is horrible at the closing and negotiating process. He does not listen to his customer and he breaches confidentiality, putting you, the buyer in a less than desirable negotiating position. Here is a list of everything that went wrong: 1. Once I had an accepted contract, I told Jeff I would be paying cash and wanted a fast close. Instead, Jeff wrote the contract for 15 days to inspect, and nearly a month to close, saying "we could close earlier if possible" It provided no incentive for the seller to act quickly at all. 2. Once the inspection was completed, I told Jeff I'd rather take a credit at closing than have the seller remediate the items that came up in inspection. This is a very common practice in real estate. Jeff told me "It is illegal. I checked with my management, and they agree" I don't know if he did, but he's a moron. I sent article after article proving that was a common practice. He finally agreed, and wrote the inspection response. Again, I wanted a fast close, so I asked for a response in 2 days. Instead Jeff and Amy argued the seller "needed" 5 days. This happened to be over the July 4th holiday, and I believe it was because it was more convenient for Jeff and Amy. It turns out the seller responded over the weekend, and Jeff did not look at the email, wasting more time. 3. Next, we finally try to close. I chose Fidelity National Title because they are a national company, and well funded. The seller was also from Italy, which could pose additional issues. Turns out the sellers Power of Attorney with his relative here in the US was not considered valid by Fidelity Title. The seller's agent then suggested we move the closing to a Title company owned by her agency so they could "push it through". I told Jeff immediately that was not an option for me, and he still wasted two weeks working with the seller's agent trying to work out a move, instead of working for me, and having the seller produce the Apostille that was required by Fidelity Title. 4. Jeff also does not follow up or communicate. Unless I ask what is happening. He tells me he is "in contact" with the seller's agent, but I never have a date by which the Apostille will be done, or when we will close. The contract is set to expire tomorrow. I asked Jeff to consider creating an extension of the contract but to NOT DISCUSS WITH THE SELLER, since I did not want them to think they could just waste another week. Then he tells me "Oh, I let them know to expect an extension". Jeff does NOT listen to you as a customer, he behaves as though he is working for the seller to be honest. He is too new to real estate to know when he is being played and shares information he should not. I would NOT recommend using Jeff for any transaction.

I met Jeff first by simply responding to an ad for a condo for sale. I was living in NY at the time and planned to buy a small condo in Carmel because I came back here often. Jeff was very helpful, and arranged for a friend of my to see a couple of condos while I was in NY. I then moved back to the Indy area, and Jeff met with me to understand what type of home I wanted. We discussed several options, and he set up a listing search for me. In addition, as I walked through a neighborhood or saw a house for sale, Jeff was very prompt in providing information on the property and arranging viewings, if I wanted them. I finally decided on a Condo, and put in an offer. Unfortunately, the seller felt the property was worth way more than I was willing to pay and more than comps supported. I was really quite depressed that day. However, Jeff immediately sent me an email with 8 more listings for us to see the very next day, and out we went! I was lucky enough to find another condo in a different community that had just come on the market. I had looked several times in that community when I was in NY, so I was familiar with the layout, options etc. On viewing, I made a decision to put in an offer, and Jeff got the offer in right away. Now we are in the inspection phase, and while the property needs some fixes, my hope is the transaction will go through without issue. Jeff has been very helpful and understanding about some of my key issues (ensuring stoves vent outside, looking for ground floor options wherever possible, etc.). He has truly been a pleasure to work with and I will use him again if I buy or sell!

As soon as we met Amy, we knew she was the right person to sell our home. She helped us price it, stage it and took all our questions so professionally. Then she sold the house in one day!

Jeff and Amy were an absolute pleasure to work with! Not only do they know the industry extremely well, but they take the time to get to know you. They made the experience of selling our first home as smooth as possible, despite the few hiccups we had along the way (related to buyer's financing, which was out of their control). I never felt like I had to call them for updates, as they were always keeping in constant contact with us (even if just to let us know they didn't have any news). Even though it has been almost a year after we closed, they still keep in touch in multiple ways (Facebook, newsletters, special event invites, etc.). They have developed a relationship with us and will definitely be the first ones we call if we ever need a realtor again!

Our overall experience was a major hassle but none of it resulted from this company. Amy was our champion and cheerleader giving us everything we could ask for and more through the entire process.

Amy Corey's personality and capability shined as she prepared for visits to listed condos. She was first to respond to owner and secured top place in my purchase of preferred property.
