Description of Work: Shahan responded to my call to identify a bad noise we were getting after flushing. They came out the next day and explained what it probably was and that we could hold off on getting it fixed if we could stand the noise. Pennies being tight right now, we decided to hold off. Then two days ago, on Sunday, we could smell gas in our garage. Gas company red tagged our hot water heater because we had a leak in the water heater fittings. We called Shahan first thing Monday and asked them to come out and fix both problems. They arrived Monday afternoon and soon had both problems fixed. ( new "innards" for the bathroom stool and fixing the water heater leak. ) We were quite impressed with the way they handled our problem. Understood our need for quick response, were very neat, very patient about explaining things to us, cost to us seemed very reasonable. Their asset I valued the most was their honesty.

Description of Work: I needed a natural gas line added for a new gas grill. Shahan Plumbing submitted a quote that was the lowest of 3 quotes I received on the project. In fact, their quote was about half the next lowest quote. The day of the scheduled service was rainy and the project was mostly outdoor. They performed the task professionally, using quality materials, in a timely manner and on budget. I was very satisfied and would recommend Shahan to anyone. The only minor gripe I had was that I had to follow-up with a phone call to set the project date as I would normally expect the provider to call me. A+

+ -1 moreIt went great overall. I called him last evening and he had the problem fixed before 1pm the next day. He was extremely efficient in getting the job done. As I stated previously, he asked me questions before he showed up to do the work to make sure that he had the right parts and would not have to go someplace to buy the parts after he got here. As a result, he was able to get the work done very quickly. His pricing was extremely, extremely reasonable. I showed him work done by prior plumbers and he would have been able to have saved me a significant amount of money had I used him previously. I just joined Angie's list and my only regret is that I should have joined Angie's list a long time ago because I definitely found an excellent plumber through their service.
Description of Work: I have a home that was built in 1971. I could not get the water to stop running in the toilet. I called Shahan Plumbing and he asked me who the toilet manufacturer was. When I told him what it was, he came with the parts to repair the toilet. Note: I went to Ace Hardware and they indicated that it would be difficult to get parts for a toilet that old. I took him very little time to fix the toilet. He was very, very professional and friendly. I now know who I will use if I ever have any future plumbing problems.

+ -1 moreThey finished the job on time and everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Our drainage problems have stopped and the annoying noises due to air pockets in the drain pipes are gone. We have had a problem with noise and odors from the drains since the house was new in 1997 and Shahan identified the problem and fixed it. We recommend their services.
Description of Work: He fixed some drain problems including rerouting some of the drainage pipes in the crawl space for better flow and to eliminate air pockets.

He repaired my water heater when we were quite desperate as we had no hot water or pressure. The price was VERY reasonable and I do not feel that he is the type of person who would take advantage of you (I had no idea what was wrong, or how much to expect it to cost, so he could very well have). I would hire again.
