Description of Work: We called PermaPools to get an estimate on a replacement automatic pool |cover. |They set the appointment. with us for 4pm on Friday June 20, 2014. |On Thurs., June 19, 2014 they called to confirm and said it would be well |after 4pm on Friday the 20th..... |We arrived home from work at approximately 330pm on Friday the 20th..... |We were both home all night on the 20th. |No one ever called or ever showed up. We did call their office number and |leave a message which was never returned. |Kind of thought the main office would want to know why we called or why we |cancelled. If I were the boss, I'd want to know... |Then on SUNDAY, June 22, 2014 at appr. 1pm, 2 guys show up in a PermaPools |van. |One guy comes to the door, smoking a cig and asking me to unlock the gate. |I told them we were no longer interested because they were a no call/no show |on Friday afternoon..... I would never allow my workers to approach a |customers door smoking a cig....And I am a smoker!!! Unacceptable!!! |Niether of them ever tried to explain or apologize for not showing or even |calling on Friday. They just both got in the van and left.... Obviously it |was no big deal. Not sure how a company can do business like that. |To me, this is totally unacceptable and very poor customer service. |Needless to say, they will never get a call from me again for any type of |service. |

Description of Work: Bill came to our house on a weekend. He was a nice guy and was fully prepared. He spent quite some time discussing options and we eventually came up with the perfect pool package. Unfortunately it turns out the installation in our back yard will become quite complex requiring major excavation of a road through our landscaping. We tried different options but unfortunately there seems to be no good alternative to installing ANY pool in our backyard. It's too bad - we would have gone with Bill and his company for the pool - if we could have one that is.

Description of Work: Mr. Lambert came out to give us a estimate on installation of a fiberglass pool, inground in our backyard. He knew his product and installation process and was able to tell us exactly what we would need for what we wanted. At this time, we made the decision not to install any pool/spa due to the economy and our own companies.

Description of Work: Perma Pool is great! They are responsive and professional and resonably priced. Ken Wall is who services our pool and he is the best! He is very friendly and really knows what he's doing. He goes above and beyond for us--I wouldn't trust anyone else to service our pool. After each service, we receive a copy of the work order explaining what was done and the levels of the chemicals in the pool and any other information he feels we need to know. He has even asked us to call him to discuss any issues if we are not home when he comes to work on the pool. We use them to open and close our pool and also to provide chemical service on a bi-weekly basis. Price above is for just opening the pool.

Description of Work: Perma Pools installed a pool for us in 2003. They designed the layout of the pool area and offered a number of pool designs. The pool was installed in our backyard. Prior to installation, our backyard was a heavily wooded, sloping hill. Perma Pools was able to clear the woods, terrace the pool area, and drop the pool into the hole using a hydraulic crane and cable system. They did an outstanding job! Perma Pools also offers ongoing pool service and maintenance. We have used their service since the pool was installed.
