Michael returned our first call promptly and came the following day to give an estimate. He verified that a treatment recommended by a drive-by tree service for an ash tree was not necessary and told us what product to buy to treat it inexpensively. We felt his quote was reasonable and called a few days later to schedule the work. His team arrived exactly when they had told us. They returned to finish on the second day, doing everything well, and cleaning up every branch, etc. All 3 were helpful and pleasant, and Michael's calm and cheerful demeanor added to our satisfaction. We will definitely use Michael's service in the future.

They were prompt and courteous. Their price was reasonable. While they were here they even cut down a few limbs for my neighbor as well. I am satisfied with their service.

Excellent. I have been pleased every time I have used Michael. While out previously removing a tree a storm brought down across the drive, he noticed a split in this tree that was probably next to come down into our bedroom. Very glad he caught this, otherwise we would have probably be looking at an expensive repair.

Very happy with the service. Michael and his other workers were very pleasant and helpful. He gave me further advice on how to take care of my trees and even other parts of my yard. We will definitely call him next time we need tree service! It took a bit longer for them to come to do the service than I had expected. But that is understandable, since they were in very high demand at the time due many customers with storm damaged trees that were in more urgent need of service.

I can't really say how they do their work but I called twice to have them come for an estimate and each time they would say we'll be there probably tomorrow and they never showed up. To be fair they should have said we don't have the time. It caused me to wait about two weeks to get my project done before I call someone else who gave me a quote and did the service on the same day. This was the first time I have used Angie's List since I joined and it wasn't a very satisfying experience.

A pear tree in my front yard was damaged in a storm on a Friday night. I called Michael's at about 8:15 am on Saturday morning and left a message for someone to come by and give me an estimate for cleanup and removal of the tree and the stump. I had my estimate by about 9 am, and a promise that the tree would be removed on Monday. When I got home from work on Monday, the tree and all the downed limbs were gone. They came back another day and ground the stump. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. An unpleasant event was taken care of quickly, professionally, and at a very reasonable price.

It went great. I first had him give me an estimate on only the ornamental, but he said he'd also do the maple tree which was in the front yard. I called him back and asked him to estimate for the maple and hickory in the backyard also. He always answered his phone right away and was always very courteous and professional. He did the work very well, hauled away all of the waste and the price was very fair.

They arrived on time to quote the job and their pricing was good. Workmen arrived on time to do the work and were courteous and professional. The quality of work was excellent and they did a good job cleaning up. Highly recommend their services.

Excellent job. Michael requested that I review what they had done. He had some questions about whether I wanted something removed, which I did. I asked him to cut two additional limbs in the back of my property which he did for no additional charge. They were professional, pleasant to work with, and did an extraordinarly good job.

Michael arrived at the appointed time to evaluate the job. He listened to my requests and provided good comments. He was friendly and professional, and provided a written estimate followed by a copy of his insurance verification. He and his crew showed up to start the job at the time they promised. They worked steadily over 2 days to complete the original work and a little extra work that I asked them to do.

The service was quick and efficient. They cleaned up well. The experience was good. They were responsive. Everything was fine.

One of the guys that came out is an arbor and he is outstanding. He said he?ll come back and treat one of the trees that we had a problem with, but I called him a couple of weeks ago and the office sir said he is on the list to treat the tree. I will give him a call back and find out when exactly he is going to do that because it also depends on the weather conditions, other than that he is an outstanding individual. He is very knowledgeable on what to treat the tree and the symptoms were normal and he is also very knowledgeable about the other trees and plants that we have on the property. He offered solutions to address some of the things that the other trees had and that was very nice to do. The only concern I have is that I don?t know when he is coming back to treat this one tree. He has not charged us for coming out and assessing the tree.

Michael was great in providing the esitmate and reviewing different options available. He did the work the way I wanted and clean all debris from the area. I will use the company again.

I had a very good experience with Michael's Tree. He came out very promptly to discuss the estimate. He gave me a written estimate and took the time to discuss it with me. His estimate matched to the dollar another estimate that I received. They were very quick with the service and they left no mess. They did what they said they were going to do and billed me exactly what they told me they would.

The were able to come a few days earlier than scheduled. Their communication was excellent. They had great suggestions on which trees to trim and by how much. Keeping the overall appearance of our house in mind.

This required climbing another tree and transferring to the dead one to take it down in pieces (no room for a bucket truck etc.). They showed up early, and the job done in less than two hours.

He came at the scheduled time for the estimate and answered all my questions and concerns. He came with his crew and worked with them the whole time. Everyone was very friendly and worked hard. I would use them again and recommend them.

I called Michael and asked him to give me an estimate to remove 2 trees and trim a third that were in my backyard. He came out that same day and gave me an estimate which included an Angie's List discount, His bid was the lowest, so I called him later that day to give him the job. This was on a Monday and said he could probably get to it later that same week. He called on Thursday morning and said he was available to do the job that day. He and his crew arrived as scheduled, cut down the 2 trees and topped the third. They hauled away the cuttings and cleaned up all the debris.

I have been using Mike's services for 8 years. Very satisfied. I live on 1 acre wooded lot and have had Mike come out at least once every 4 years. First time he came out he gave me an hour of his time and advice free. I was very impressed at his personability and professionalism. Always been very satisfied with his work and his reasonable prices.

They couldn't get to the backyard, so they had to use a huge crane to lift the tree over the house. It was not an easy job, and they did an excellent, professional job of it. It wasn't cheap, but we did not compare prices. The process was very exciting to watch. They removed the stump from the front yard, filled it with soil and reseeded it. We liked him very much.

Mike seems professional and trustworthy, however he never showed for my original appointment. He called me late in the day afterward to say that he was ill and requested to reschedule. He should have called before the appointment so I was not inconvenienced waiting for him. I am extremely busy in my own job and do not have the flexibility to schedule multiple appointments. Well I went ahead and rescheduled the appointment for an estimate on the work anyway giving Mike the benefit of doubt. He showed on time and was professional. His price of $600 for deadwooding and trimming work seemed a little high, but not terribly so. He also quoted $200 for the removal of the walnut tree including stump. Almost went with him, but decided to go with another tree service that came in lower on the deadwooding and trimming work. I liked Mike, but my first impression was unfavorable.
