Both the ordering of window and actual replacement went very well. Sales rep and installer were very punctual and knowledgeable. Installation took just under 2 hours which is less than expected. Both the sales representative and installer were careful to review their standard checklists with me to make sure that I completely understood what would be included with the work.

Installed a beautiful wood Mahogany door. Old door removed. The arrived on time as scheduled. Very neat and professional. Did a great job and cleaned up any mess before leaving. Follow up calls and e mails from Aaron to ensure we were 100 % satisfied. My neighbor also purchased a door from them and he was also very happy

Outstanding! I had purchased a Pella entry door from McComb had it installed by them on 7/10/12. This experience demonstrated that McComb Window and Door and Pella really stand behind their merchandise and workmanship. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the door. It make a huge improvement in the appearance of my home. I had a concern about the threshold that I thought was so minor, that I hesitated to even mention it. I thought the threshold should slant away from the door slightly to drain water, rather than being level. They took extraordinary measures to correct that to my satisfaction. They ordered a new door frame, took out the installed frame, and replaced it, replaced all of the trim pieces, and rehung the door. They scheduled an appointment at my convenience. In fact they schedule three different appointments, because twice when they came it started to rain and they did not want to risk geting I was a little concerned when they told me they were going to rehang the door in a new frame, because I know it is more difficult to install a door in a frame outside the factory. They did a very nice job. The door is well sealed and nicely finished with the trim pieces. the finish carpenter who did the work was very courteous, skilled and professional.

The door arrived on the 22nd and installed by McComb contractors on the 23rd. They did a good job installing the door and made sure I knew how everything operated. The fit and finish of the door and outside trim work was great. A day later, Early Friday evening, I discovered dents and scratches to my wood floor near the door and got ahold of McComb right away on Monday morning. They took the information down and said the installer supervisor would get back to me. Well he never did, so I called my salesman, Chad Murphy, and he took care of everything. I asked him several times if someone wanted to come see the damage, but he said they took my word on it and go ahead and get an estimate/repair, which I did. McComb cut me a check to cover the cost of repairs to the floor, I was really impressed. I would use them again and plan to next year when we get ready to upgrade windows in the sunroom. And again I would really like to thank Chad on how everything was handled.

I think that the care that they took when installing the door was important. They were very clean and careful to mind my landscaping and they were more than willing to go the extra step, even after they had received their pay.

It went very well. In fact, this whole transaction was everyone's dream of how such a job should go. It started out with an outstanding salesman. (And, I don't often rate a salesman so highly. I figure, if they do a good job, that is just what they are getting paid for.) Paul Stacco did more than a good job. Pella offers a wonderful selection of doors with lots of options in the style of door, the finish, and the decorative glass, plus further options in the trim and finish details. Paul scheduled an appointment at my convenience, came to our home and spent a lot of time letting me pour through all of the options and get exactly what I wanted. He had a lot of expertise and gave good guidance as to what would best fit my requirements. Some of his guidance not only gave me a better result, but saved me money. I was going to buy a storm door with this new door. The door being replaced had a storm door--that's what they did 50 years ago. Although Pella offers storm doors also, Paul pointed out that this new door would be sealed so well that I wouldn't really need a storm door. That saved me money and gave a much better appearance. He also suggested reusing the door handles/lock mechanism instead of buying new, since we had one that was in good condition and had a style and combination lock that I particularly liked. I had two other companies give me estimates on this job--both of whom we had hired previously for other work and had good experiences. One also offered Pella products and the other offered a product that is comparable in quality and price point. Both gave lower bids, but the job they were offering was not equivalent to that offered by Paul Stacco of McComb Window and Door. After I talked to the other two companies and decided that I wanted McComb, Paul again came to our house to go over all of the details and make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Installation was scheduled at a date and time convenient to me. I had not understood that the material would be delivered the day prior to installation, and I was out of town when they called to confirm delivery. They were very good about re-scheduling an early morning delivery for the day of installation so that everything would be here when the installer arrived. Mark, the installer, arrived right on time. He worked diligently and efficiently. His workmanship was very good--much better than you normally see now days. After installation he cleaned up the site meticulously. He didn't complain that my cats thought they should supervise his work. The salesman, Paul, even called after the fact to ensure that everything went well and to see if there were any outstanding issues issues that needed to be addressed. They did the work as expected and showed up on time. Whatever they quoted for the job, they performed at that price. The price was very fair and reasonable for the work.

The entire process went very well. We had initially ordered the 8 foot door from another well-known company and they called 6 weeks after the order date (the week the door was to be installed) and advised that they could not make that size door with enclosed mini-blinds. We went to the McComb showroom and they were SO helpful. We like the sliding door so much that we went ahead and also ordered the matching access door for the other exterior doorway in that room.The doors came in earlier than they expected. We arranged a convenient installation date and the crew of two did a wonderful job. There was some paint touch-up necessary and they called in a special crew to get that completed the same day.We love our new doors and will enjoy them for years to come.

We really like the product. We thought they did a very good job. Their workmanship and product are excellent. The windows are so easy to clean. They are expensive, but they were excellent and we would use them again for more windows.

My experience with this company was excellent. They were very professional. I felt comfortable with their expertise. They were very custom windows, the windows were installed in an older building. I really liked the quality of the product. The cost was not the least expensive but I felt comfortable that what I paid for would be done right. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The job was completed in one day. The three man crew arrived on time, calling to advise they were on the way. The inside man took off his shoes to protect the carpet. Outside aluminum trim was removed. Each window was removed and replaced individually. This was the house was open for a minimum amount of time. The sills and framing were checkedd to assure that the opening was sound. The windowa wure installed and meticulously plumbed. Weather proof flashing was installed and all openings were foam insulated to prevernt air leakage. I chose to install my own interior window trim and fill and touch up nail holes. Very satisfied.

McCombs was very good to work with. Our Salesman Dustin Robbins was in touch with us throughout the process. We were promised our door on December the 14th, however a delay prevented that delivery date. Dustin and the management were very good about keeping me informed of the delay and the reason for the delay. The door was finally installed on 12/27/11 and it turned out great. I would highly recommend McComb Windows and Doors and above all Dustin Robbins and the management of the firm.

The whole experience with McCoomb was wonderful. The sales person came on time, measured the window area, discussed all the options and quoted. He did not do a hard sales pitch (a very big plus for me), he thoroughly knew his product and was very easy to work with. A second person came out to double checked the measurement before placing the order, the window and all the materials for the installation were delived on schedule. The installers were great. They were at the house first thing in the morning, covered everything in my sunroom with plastic, removed the old window, put in the very large 5 window set and completely cleaned up the area inside and out. I love the window, I love working with this company.

We are getting ready to make a lot of home improvements, so I called Pella Windows and Doors to get an estimate to replace 9 sunroom windows and two sliding doors. One of our windows was shot by a child with a BB gun years ago and the bullet hole was unsightly. The windows looked cloudy even after I cleaned them. Paul Spacco of Pella Windows came out a week later for our appointment. Our home was built in 1919 and when we bought our home 21 years ago, it had two Pella sliding doors. Mr. Spacco inspected our sunroom windows and our two sliding doors. He told me that our nine sunroom windows were insulated and that the seal had been compromised, resulting in the air pockets and cloudy windows that could not get clean. He told me that the windows could be replaced, but that I might want to just replace the glass, as the rest of the window was in good shape. His company does not replace glass, but he recommended two glass replacement companies that could do the job. He inspected our Pella sliding doors, which were from the 1970's. He said they were in good shape and that I could consider replacing the glass in one door, as the insulated glass had been compromised. One of our sliding doors did not move smoothly, and he told me how to adjust the sliding mechanism and how to oil it. He told me our forty year old sliding doors are a testament to the good value of Pella products, as they are still in good condition. I really appreciated his professional opinion and advice. His advice will help us save a lot of money on our home projects. Seventeen years ago, we replaced all the windows of my husband's office with Pella windows and we have been very happy with them. That is why I called them in the first place. Based on today's experience with Mr. Spacco and our office's experience with Pella windows, I highly recommend this honest company.

He is a honest and reliable worker. He knew his skills and tools and got right to work. He didn't try to oversell the project.

We contacted 4 providers. We could probably have been pleased with any of them. All quotes were very close. We decided on Pella because of the color choices and the fact that the doors and windows would match. We liked the 3 point locking system for the doors. The installation started when promised and took the time estimated.

They were very concerned that we were happy with the job. They were very professional and they were here when the said they were going to be here. They came back when they said they would as there was something that could not be done the day they installed the door. They did what they said they were going to do. They were a bit on the expensive side. They were definitely more expensive that the others and you give what you paid for. We paid and got good service. If I was to compare the price with the quality we paid a lot more money and we did get better quality. The gentleman called several days after the job was done to check how it was. He was not here with the installation he did the sales presentation. He called to check if they did everything they were supposed to do. He was concerned and he followed up.

The windows are beautiful! The installers showed up on time and were very neat. They covered my floors and furniture. They also covered their shoes. Cleaned up inside and vacuumed. During the installation one of the installers took the time to remove the labels from the windows and place them on sheets of paper. He then handed them to me and told me to put them in my tax file for documentation for my deduction. They also removed all the old windows and door. The interior wood of the windows is stained and they matched my other windows and trim perfectly. Very professional job! As time goes by we're going to replace all the windows in the house with Pella

The initial experience was great when I was dealing with the salesperson who was helpful, highly professional and very responsive all the way through. Installers did a good job on installation and ended up doing some extra work at a very reasonable price when finding wood rot under the siding around the windows. My complaints were 1. delays in finishing, which was caused by not properly scheduling the painters to arrive when the windows were complete. The delay of five days after window completion until final exterior painting was scheduled to begin allowed spring rain to move in which ultimately delayed exterior painting by three weeks, while the exterior wood sat bare through much heavy rain. Other minor complaints are 2. that they didn't clean up work areas after installation as promised and they 3. didn't let me know when they were coming to installation completion so I could walk through how to properly lock and operate all window and door features, another as promised courtesy which didn't take place. Overall my assessment is that our salesperson performed admirably and that the installation people do good work, but that there was no project manager to properly schedule and expedite the project, which left the salesperson trying to coordinate everything which didn't appear to be his area of responsibility or authority. Pella windows are great but if I had to do over, I would likely buy Pella windows from this salesperson and have my general project construction manager perform installation rather than McCombs. Hence my 'B' ratings as good but not great in a few areas. I would rate the professionalism of the salesperson as A+, of the installer as A, but of the project management overall as C-hence a B overall rating in this area.

We were very pleased with this company. We had spoken to them at a home show earlier this year and requested a sales call. They were very prompt and flexible in scheduling this. The salesman, Paul, was friendly and was able to quickly and accurately describe the options available to us. He then left us with pictures, brochures and information to review on our own time. We also visited their showroom to view samples on our own time. There was no high-pressure sales with Paul - he answered all of our questions via e-mail but let us make our decision without pushing. Once we decided to go with Pella we had Paul back out to our home to go over our final choices and write up the contract. The work was scheduled that night for about a month later. They completed the install in just about 4 hours and it looks perfect. We were very impressed with the trim and finish work - they matched the trim in our house perfectly and you can't tell where the old stops and new begins. Pella doors/windows are a higher-priced option but we are very happy with the quality and service we received. We felt that we got what we paid for and more!

I got the first bid in July 2010, and then I kind of put it on the back burner. I then had them come back out recently for the bid, and I decided to go with them. They told me that once I signed the contract the windows would be here within five weeks. The windows were very nice, and they were what I had wanted. They subcontracted the installation work to another company, and the installation was good too. Their price wasn?t by any means the cheapest price I had received. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Overall, the experience was good. This company did a fine job. The installer was very efficient in use of time and materials, and installed the windows by himself. The quality of the installation is very fine. The salesperson advised that they would check for lead paint, and brought out a technician to check before the project began, and the salesperson advised me if he did find lead paint, there would be an additional fee. No lead paint was found. The approximate cost includes both the windows & the installation.

They did a great job overall! We had previously used a competitor and were unhappy with the replacement windows supplied. They used the old frames, which were a.) rotted and b.) make the actual window smaller, losing light. We were quite happy that they completely removed the old product and installed all new. They provided superb service! I’m sure we could have gotten it for less, but it was worth it for the high quality of product.

They were great and we would highly recommend them. They were very professional, prompt and courteous. They did an excellent job. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. They returned our calls and answered our questions. Their customer service was very good. The price was very good.
