We scheduled service on our furnaces. The tech showed up and started the service. The tech noted that there was noise coming from one of the induction motors and made a video of it. Then, after “cleaning” the induction motor, put it all back together. However, after reassembling it, the motor was seized and showed an amp draw of a seized motor. Again, a video was made. The tech said it would be $1194 to replace the induction motor. I questioned the tech as this seemed an extremely unusual situation. I called customer service and questioned the development of the seized motor. The customer service tech told me it happens all the time. As someone who is familiar with electric motors and fans, I told the customer service tech that was not true. I took the induction motor out, inspected it and reinstalled it. It works great, no issues. The customer service tech told me that the motor continued to run over the weekend, they would refund the cost of the service call. The motor worked flawlessly all weekend. I called, but they refused to refund the cost of a service call, a service call that would have cost me me almost $1200 to fix something that was not broken. After being told I was going to have to pay $1194 for a new induction motor that was and is working normal, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your heating and cooling needs. Mistakes happen, I understand that. But refusing to own up to mistakes made, especially when it would have resulted in a $1200 unnecessary cost to the customer is something I find unacceptable.

Went very well. Our furnace stopped working overnight. The repair person arrived within an hour of calling. The were able to diagnose and resolve the issue. They provided options on repairs and details on how to troubleshoot future problems. Very happy with the service.

It went well. Customer service over the phone were very polite and helpful. Repair man was on time and friendly. He thoroughly explained the problem. There was no pressure at all. It was overall a great experience.

We moved into a house in early May. When the temperatures rose during the month, we noticed the A/C was not quite keeping up. I called for an appointment and they were pretty booked up, so I scheduled a tune up toward the middle of June. A day or 2 later, I noticed the evaporator had frozen up. I called back and they worked us in within a couple days. Travis, the owner, made the service call Friday at noon. After a few questions, he quickly made an assessment and confirmed his diagnosis. He provided several options and recommended the least expensive. He did not have everything he needed, but promised that someone would be back later that day to complete the repair so we would have air over the weekend. Dylan came later and charged the unit and verified that everything was operational. It was nice to get good service at a fair price. We signed up for a maintenance plan and saved on the labor and supplies. This was a pleasant experience for a stressful and unpleasant situation.

They supplied options to replace and options to repair without pressuring us. We chose a repair options and will likely choose them for a later replace option. Very knowledgeable about the unit and the repair was correct. I would recommend them to others

It was kind of expensive. I would give them an A. It was a tough job and they got the job done. It was not an easy fix. They knew what they were doing. They were qualified, and they were competent. They gave us a fair price. It was fair, that was part of the reason we left another company because they had a better price. They called head of time. I would use them in the future.

They have never done me wrong or broken anything or anything like that. I have just had a good experience with them.The price is pretty reasonable. Responsiveness is pretty good. They are always on time, that has never been an issue. I think they are pretty professional.

Called LCS on a Friday. They literally had someone at my house in an hour. I was able to go home and meet him on my lunch break. He cleaned the sensor on the pilot and had me up and running in just a few minutes. I couldn't be happier. The tech was a really nice guy. Took the time to explain exactly what happened and was out the door.

LCS installed the last one 5 years ago and it was leaking. It needed to be replaced, and it was still under warranty. LCS handled everything within 24 hours - including acquiring a replacement unit at no charge, and performed the installation same day. The leaking unit was removed the next day, since it was a 75 gal unit and needed more people to remove it. They took extra measures to protect the carpet & floor as they removed the huge, leaking unit. Workers were very professional and friendly as well. Always happy w LCS, they are the only call we have to make and they work fast. Extremely satisfied.

I've been using them for several years. They are pretty competitive on price. They are kind of like a small town provider; you get to know them, you get to know their service technicians and they seem to have people who stick around. You feel kind of like they're partnering with you on your equipment.

Came out on a Saturday. Got here in a hurry. Fixed my 24 year old A/C unit and got it running again in no time. They're awesome. Another fantastic service experience. When my air conditioner does die, they'll get the call to replace it.

This was one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. My furnace quit working on New Years Eve night. Woke up to a cold house on New Years day. I called LCS and they had a tech out to me in literally 20 minutes! Who does that on New Years Day? After spending at least an hour trying to find a solution to fix my current furnace that was 23 years old, we decided it was best to just replace the unit. We set that up for the following Monday. They fit me in even though they had a full schedule for that day. Once we came to terms on replacing the furnace, the tech left my house and returned shortly after with 3 brand new plug in space heaters to help keep me warm for the next few days before they could get the furnace installed. Monday morning came around and they showed up promptly and got to work. My schedule wouldn't allow me to stay while they finished so I left them to finish up. I came home to find everything perfect. No mess, all the old equipment gone and the house a nice and comfortable 70deg. I was billed for the emergency service on New Years day but they took that price off the total for the install of the furnace. The price they quoted me to do the job seemed incredibly reasonable considering the time and effort involved in doing the job. I really didn't realize how great the price was until friends told me what they paid to replace their furnaces. I wish I could say more good things about these guys and the job they did for me. Honestly, I couldn't ever have asked for the experience to be this good. I would have been completely satisfied at 80% of the effort they gave to this job. If you need furnace or A/C work, you'd be foolish to call someone else.

Mark from LCS Heating & Cooling came out to our house to service, clean, and generally check out our older unit furnace and AC as we are in the process of selling our house. He was prompt and friendly, as well as very knowledgable on the unit. He performed his service in a professional manner and did not feel the need to up sell us any costly repairs, despite the age of the system since it was performing in excellent shape, as other HVAC contractors have tried to do when they came out to our house. Additionally, all the people I spoke with on the phone for LCS for extremely nice and prompt. I was always able to get a question answered or a quick call back from them throughout the entire process. We will definitely use LCS again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for a local HVAC company that actually listens to your concerns and feedback without worrying about making a quick buck.

Rick came out and explained what went wrong with our furnace. He fixed the problem same day. When we had an issue a week later, Rick returned and fixed the new issue with no charge. We were originally scheduled for 4pm but they were able to sneak us in at 10am. Very happy with LCS and Rick's service. We will definitely be using LCS if we have any future issues.

The technician arrived within hours of my call. He was very professional and courteous. He explained the problem and showed me the part that needed to be replaced. The job was finished quickly and he cleaned up the area when he was done.

Quick response and reasonable price, as always with Travis and Renee. Have had them perform work for us on several occasions and satisfied each time. One time I called Travis' cell phone directly, got no answer, didn't leave a message, and called the main LCS number. The voicemail said they were on vacation and gave another number to call. I wrote it down wrong so called the main number again to get it, and before I could call it, Travis called me from their vacation. They apparently had seen the two missed calls from me on the main number so called back directly to see what was wrong. Great service.

LCS was fantastic and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Their quote was by far better than the bigger players listed on Angie's list and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, in fact they tried to talk me out of one addition which I wanted. They exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and even did a few "extras" for me for free. Occasionally they were a tiny bit slow getting back to me initially but this was because they were providing thoughtful answers to questions.

They installed the unit a year before. Their pricing is competitive. Renee, in the office, runs a tight ship. I have recommend them to my daughter and lots of other people.
