JORDAN ROOFING

Called Jordan Roofing to inspect my roof for an on-going concern. They were very responsive and were able to meet me at my house the following day.

It was great good to finish. Don provided me info that none of the other contractors I had come out provided. He was also willing to work with me and not nickel and dime me for everything. He was not only cheapest but his knowledge left me feeling that I was in good hands. He also was extremely personable. His customer service is top notch.

I am very happy with the service I rec'd from Jordan Roofing. They were very professional and respectful. It was clear that Don Jordan knew what he was talking about. He worked around my busy schedule to come out and explain exactly what needed to be done and how things would be done. They did quality work and I ended up with a really nice looking roof. I would definitely recommend Jordan Roofing to my family and friends.

Don Jordan was the first contractor to respond to my request for some roof and fascia repairs. He promptly scheduled a time to come out for a free estimate. During his visit he listened to all of my concerns with the roof and then climbed on my steep roof and personally reviewed all of the problematic areas. He also pulled some damaged shingle tabs from the gutters during his free visit. After I acquired quotes from two other contractors, Mr. Jordan stood out from the pack in price and professionalism as well as his Angie?s List reputation. I signed a contract with Jordan Roofing to replace two dead valleys as well as replace some damaged shingles, fascia, and soffit. For the fascia I specifically requested Azek CPVC trim board and Mr. Jordan delivered! He made a special trip out to deliver the trim to my house before my project commencement. Since it was late in the painting season and an extra charge for painting, he gave me the chance to prime and paint the trim to match the rest of my house before he and his crew installed it. On the first day of the project, while removing a gutter in a problematic area of the roof to install new fascia, Don noticed that some of the damage went deeper than we initially thought. He sent me a picture of the issue with his camera phone and then thoroughly discussed his concerns regarding the adjacent area. We agreed on a reasonable price to take care of the rest of the damage and avert additional damage. Later in the day, I met up with him and reviewed the work on my overly complicated roof. In one area, we noticed that due to all of the complexity, some of the shingles were not lining up correctly. Mr. Jordan directed his crew to replace the skewed shingles. He and his crew worked with me to address a dead valley at the back of the house where the steep roof butts into siding for a foot long section. Don Jordan was willing to answer any questions that I had and wanted to make sure that everything was as he promised. A little over two years since the work was completed, both dead valleys appear to be dry as can be.

After our house in Avon sustained damage from the hailstorms last September, i contacted several companies to get estimates for the repairs and chose Jordan Roofing because of both their Angie's list reviews and Don's professionalism. Don and his crew were very punctual and responsive throughout the entire project which included working around challenging weather conditions as well as scheduling issues with the holiday's and our tenants to complete the repairs within a month. They quickly diagnosed a leak issue in the front of the house that had resulted in damage to the drywall on the interior wall and ceiling, which Don was able to repair as well making the entire process move forward very smoothly. The overall quality of the work and experience was excellent, so much so that we have already used Don's crew for another smaller gutter job at our primary residence. Don's open and honest approach make's working with him very easy since, in my experience, he truly values his customers and takes pride the quality of his work. I would definitely recommend Jordan Roofing and will use them again future.

The reviews on AL were great for this company. His estimate was fair and he did a good job.

Contacted the owner Don to come out to give and estimate to have a flat roof repaired or to build a slant roof. He was to show up to give and estimate on a Friday and never showed up. This was his second chance to prove his company, as the first time I contacted this company I never received a return call. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I researched Angies List and found Jordan Roofing. I called Don and he was able to come out in 2 days to take a look. Don was very polite and professional. He came by for an estimate on Friday evening. He and his crew were out the next day with a package of shingles to match my existing roof...not an easy thing to do since the shingles have a reddish tint . The repair looks awesome... I inspected it up close. Unless I look really hard I can't see a difference in the color of the shingles. While he was up there he replaced a couple of other shingles, that were damaged in a diff section of the roof...for no extra charge. I will definately be calling Mr. Jordan if, God forbid, I have any other needs. Great customer experience!

In general the job was good. The quality of the roofing job itself was very good. This job required a fair amount of trim work to be done along with the roofing job. The roofing crew did the trim work originally and really did not do the best job on the trim work. Don made sure that it was done to my satisfaction by fixing the issues. This required that he remove all the trim work that had been done and replace it a with new. He did this all at his expense. He also replaced a gutter that the roofers had damaged pretty badly during the roof replacement. I am also very pleased with the flashing around my brick chimneys. I am not an expert in this area but it appears to be done very well to me and looks very good. I was vey pleased in the way that he handled my concerns after the job and for me that is what should be expected of a contractor. I was very happy with the job once it was finished and would recommend using Don's company for work you need done.

Woke up to a leak in the kitchen on a Sunday morning, and called Don. He came out that afternoon to take a look and give me an estimate. He also did a "temporary caulking job", in case he couldn't get back out to do the permanent repair before it rained again. That was a good thing, because bad weather precluded him being able to return for about a week, but the temporary repair held up just fine. When he and his crew were able to return, they did discover a bit more damage than had been discovered originally, and e-mailed me some photos so I could understand what they found. I authorized the additional repairs, which were completed within the next couple of days.

Jordan's Roofing was recommended by a friend. I tend to place more trust on word-of-mouth from friends rather than things I've read. I'm totally happy with the work that Jordan's Roofing has done. Although the job actually exceeded the initial estimate, Don Jordan was true to his word and absorbed the extra cost. I appreciate his integrity and would not hesitate to recommend Jordan's Roofing to any of my friends.

Mr. Jordan came personally to diagnose the issue at hand promptly; being an older home owner I have the occasion to interact with many service men; Don and his team are outliers in the best was possible. foremost he is obviously driven by a sense of integrity and commitment to the job, a skill -he shared with me- that his father taught him as a child. I had several other roofing companies come to provide estimates and It was my feeling that Don was the most circumspect with his approach to the problem. He was also very competitive with the price such that it was an easy decision (he was both one of the lowest quotes and the most thorough, if price were not an issue for me, I still would have chosen him over the higher quoting companies). all in all, i would highly recommend Don Jordan for any roofing work (he actually helped me find low quotes on other projects out of his area of specialty also).

One nice thing about this company is that I worked with the owner and not a salesman when getting an estimate and working out the details. Don Jordan was easy to work with and responsive. I also liked that the company has one crew so you don't have to worry about getting a new or sloppy crew.

I have had previous work done by Jordan Roofing and have been satisfied with their work, so I called them. Don agreed to do the work for whatever the insurance company paid me, plus my deductable. The insurance adjustor claimed that I did not need new siding but Don disagreed and met with the adjustor. There was some delay as Don did not get the message from the adjustor to call. This was a bit of an annoyance but since I have never had any other problem with Don returning calls, I have no reason to believe it was anything but an honest mistake. After they met, the adjustor agreed to replacing the siding on the west side of the house. The work began about a week later with separate crews doing the different jobs on different days. The roofers took 2 days, as we have a pretty large roof. The siding and gutters were done quickly (each in less than a day) and, as far as I can tell, well. After the roofing crew was finished, Don came back and inspected the roof and was not pleased with how some of the work had been done. He had the crew come back and fix some of the (non-replaced) siding and reflash certain areas. While it is not good that the work wasn't done right at first, it was good that Don was demanding of the crew that they do the work to his standards, including work that I would have never known was done incorrectly (the flashing). When I talked to him about the work, it was obvious that he was very unhappy with the workers and would not be satisfied until the work was done right. It was good to see him so fired up about the quality of work being done by the crew.

I selected Jordan Roofing to replace a roof damaged by a heavy summer hail storm. Don Jordan responded to me quickly and inspected the house. Besides the roof, we had damage to nearly all the screens, the gutters and the garage door. Don worked with our insurance adjuster to make sure all the damage was covered and corrected. He kept us abreast of the process, gave us several products from which to choose and explained the pros and cons of each. Don was thorough, diligent and professional, and was responsive to our scheduling needs. He was very pleasant and not at all pushy. I was very pleased with my experience with Jordan Roofing. We have a beautiful roof that has withstood subsequent hail storms.

The work was performed very professionally, when promised and the quality of the work was very good. The area was left very clean afterward.

They tookd down most of old gutters one day. Then it thunderstormed and they had to quit. Came back next day and finished taking old ones down and put up new ones. Relocated downspouts and sump pump is running much less now. They even kept robin's nest intact working gently around her.

I had Jordan put the roof on the house several years ago after a hail storm. I was very happy then with their service and professionalism. However, in the past couple years I noticed the flashing around the chimney was leaking. I had not noticed until then because the leak was so small that it only occurred during the hardest of rains and took that long to show itself in the interior plaster. I finally, two weeks ago, called Don to come take a look at it. He came out and decided that, yes, the flashing was leaking. He told me that the roof was out of warranty but because he wasn't 100% happy with how the flashing was done that he would fix the problem for free. I how have new flashing and couldn't be happier with the job they did. Thanks so much, Don, you have earned my business from now on!

Work went smoothly. Roofers were cognizant of weather and made sure that they tore off the old shingles only to the extent that they could replace them the same day. Don Jordan pointed out that when installing the ice and water shield next to dormers, they would need to run the ice and water shield up underneath the existing siding, in order to provide the maximum effectiveness of the product. So they cut part of the way up the siding and then applied new wood trim in such a way that it looked as though it was originally that way. A portion of the roof meets the chimney -- they added a "saddle" to divert water away from where the roof meets the base of the chimney, in order to minimize the risk of future leak. When the project was done, all debris was removed and the ground was swept with a magnet to pick up nails. Throughout the project, workers were professional and cordial.

Filed a homeowners claim for storm damage to roof, siding , gutters on exterior of home, and leak damage to interior drywall. Obtained estimates from several contractors in the area, to which I must add there are many varieties out there to choose from. I was very impressed with Jordon Roofing's price, quality of work, and professionalism. Don was on time to every appointment with myself and/or the insurance adjuster, and prompt in providing documentation necessary to keep the process moving. Don did great working with my insurance company in getting the claim approved and processed. Don Jordan is definitely an honest guy you can trust. As far as the actual work, Jordan Roofing was very committed to doing the job right! This storm damaged every home on my street. I saw work performed by several different contractors in the area, and all I can say is it really pays to do your research when hiring a contractor. Jordan Roofing provided the best quality in materials and workmanship out of all the contractors that completed work on my street. This was the only contractor that added drip-edge in replacing the roof, and at the same price as other contractors. Don also provided upgrades to siding and gutters at no additional charge. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody.

My husband called to schedule an appointment. Mr. Jordan arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He inspected the roof, pointed out all issues and answered questions. He was very professional and provided a detailed bid within a couple of days.

It was raining so he called to reschedule, which was fine. We made another appointment for the following Monday. He didn’t bother to call or show up. I've used him in the past and he did a good job, but I haven't been able to get in contact with him which is disappointing.

Our roof was damaged in a hail storm. Don came out and gave me an estimate and later met with the insurance adjuster and walked the roof with him. Though he was extremely busy, he was punctual and very professional. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Don Jordan responded promptly to my calls, was up front about costs, timing and made recommendation to install additional roof vents to help keep the attic properly vented, which I appreciated. Work crew was very considerate and professional. Never have I seen such great clean up from a roofing job!
