Put simply, part of me hopes I have a plumbing problem soon so I have reason to hire them again. They were THAT good. The news was really bad--we needed all new piping, new fixtures, and a number of other assorted repairs. The plumber they sent--Dave--was excellent, though. He provided a detailed contract and spent a long, long time answering all my questions. I never felt like he was intentionally trying to upcharge me or convince me to have unnecessary work done--he was able to clearly explain why everything he recommended was important. They estimated it would take a week to complete, but they were able to schedule me for the following week! Dave was the one to perform the work. He was always happy to walk me through what he was doing and to explain to me why he was doing it. I'm sure I started to bug him really soon after, but he was very patient with me. Given how much we were spending, it was really helpful to be able to ask all those questions. My only concern is their pricing. One of the services we were going to have them do is replace the toilet. But when looking at the contract, I noticed the labor+parts was going to cost approximately $700, which is preposterous. I don't know enough about plumbing to know whether the rest of the services were similarly overpriced, but friends and family with more experience than me have told me the rest of the bill seemed reasonable. Pricing aside, I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the quality of their service.

I called and requested plumbing services for a leaking drain in the crawl space. I was told that someone would be there the next morning, was given a 2 hour window/timeframe, and was told that I would receive an email that evening with my plumbers name and picture on it. I did not receive an email that evening. The next morning, I called and let them know that I did not receive the email, and inquired as to when I could expect my plumber. There was a long pause....too long. Basically I wasn't even on the schedule, and the girl answering the phone said that she would "try to see if somehow they could get me a plumber that day". I had a doctors appointment around noon of that day. I called another plumber that I had used in the past. They guaranteed that I would have a plumber between 1 and 3 that afternoon. I cancelled my request at Hope plumbing. This is the second time that I have tried to use Hope Plumbing, as they are much closer to my home than the one I routinely used. I will never call Hope Plumbing again.

All went well. My drain is not stopped up and draining as it should. I want to thank Jeremey Fox and Ryan McCormack for their professionalism, patience in answering my many questions and giving me different solutions to solving the problems.

After rescheduling the first appointment because the previous job ran long (seems to be a common theme lately with this company). They told us it would be approximately 5-6 hours and cost $2000. That works out to be about $300-400/hour. The estimate of 5-6 hours seems really high and the hourly rate was more than I was willing to pay. It does seem that many service providers charge more simply because we are in Carmel. This company just wasn't for us.

Excellent, and the serviceman was willing to initiate a conversation about whether it would be cheaper to buy the fixture from him or get it elsewhere and have him install it (turned out it worked better all round to buy it from him, but I was glad he raised the issue). Prompt, polite, professional, and since then it has been working flawlessly.

The first visit did not go very well. I explained the situation as a slow drain and explained that other pipes had to be replaced in the home. He told me he would clear the drain. Of course, that didn't work. He left the area a mess and worse than it was before. He also charged me for the visit. Two days later, a second plumber came out and completed the job beautifully. We were also charged for his services. We called and explained and after going back and forth with a few phones, our first visit was determined free and we were given our money back.

He did a great job. He was primarily here to work on the refrig. hose that the flooring company could not get connected back to the house faucet. He got the materials and replaced the old faucet with a new unit that is available now. He then pointed out to me that my hot water heater duct work to the ceiling duct work was rusted through and needed to be replaced. I had already known this and was going to call my usual AC/plumbers but decided since he was here and could do the work to let him put in new duct work. He did a good job on both and both should be fine for a few more years.

Overall the work that was done and the plumbers that provided the service were great, professional, accommodating, and efficient in getting all this work done in a day. The employees I would recommend to anyone however, we did have some issues with the companies billing and not recognizing an Angie's List discount. When we received the final invoice by email, there was only the final amount listed with no detail as to the cost of each service performed. When my husband requested the cost of the water heater they responded that all they could provide was an industry standard cost not the specific cost for the heater we received. When I told them we were Angie's List members and should get a discount, the plumbers responded that Hope Plumbing was not a member of Angie's List.

A little bumpy getting started with water lines. Relatively young plumber. But Hope also provided a very experienced plumber who made sure the job was done correctly.

Hope quoted us a price 2 times more expensive than what we found later. I think our Carmel zip code had them quote a higher price. An Internet search clearly showed us how much the water heater actually cost. We knew their price was way too high. The worker had a slow day so they tried desperately to get our work by dropping the price but it still wasn't near what we found with a competitor. Do your research before going with Hope.

Once the serviceman arrived, it went well. He was professional, very nice & explained issues and made recommendations. The serviceman didn't test water flow after completing the clean out so we ended up having them come back to resnake the line. The second serviceman was more thorough & also provided recommendations. I didn't end up following thru with their recommendations of replacing the pipes because this is the first back up I've had in 20 years & didn't feel it was necessary to do st this time based on their investigation of the issue.

Installation went well, I accepted the price quoted on site. Later, I saw Angie's List "Deal" offering lower cost. I called Hope office to recover the difference, and they issued credit to my card. Thanks to Sue & Hope Plumbers for doing the right thing!!

The original plumber that came did not feel confident enough to replace a pipe in our wall so he called another plumber who showed up within an hour to complete the task. Great service and very much appreciative of the honesty to make sure the job got done right.

I wouldn't want them coming back. It was a terrible experience. Later on, I thought it was overpriced. He put a compressor fitting on, and it burst.The night before he came back to finish putting in a box for the washer which obviously if he'd really looked at it wouldn't fit. It was a really, really horrible service. I wouldn't have them back if you paid me. The plumbers never took responsibility for anything. They did send someone back out to clean the basement. The office, they were nice. I was on their list for their 12- month service pay $69 and you get some percentage off. I called and canceled that. She didn't ask me why because she knew. I think they just grew too big. I'm told, I think their contractors get a commission, I started to believe that because it was overpriced. I should've searched more. On the price, I don't really know, I didn't check for other prices after that. On the quality, initially, I would give it an "F". Then he did do decent plumbing work in the bathroom after that when he got his act together or whatever it was. So, I would give it a "D" for the layer work. As far as our washer box goes, I would give it an "F". On the responsiveness, they were pretty good about that because they wanted money. I would never use them again, never. I wouldn't even answer back their surveys, I don't respond to them at all. They sent out another guy to fix the other guy's problem that they sent me. He fixed it somewhat. I don't know it just was a horrible experience. It was too much for me.

I was very happy with the services. Quentin was the best plumber ever, he was nice,kind, solved the problem and kept me informed.

Cost was more than I really wanted to pay, however, it is a high-quality faucet. Everything went smoothly.

Jon Bidart was top notch! He gave us the good news that both of our sump pumps in the crawl space were working fine. He also noticed that we have a problem with an outdoor faucet and showed us how he could repair--and improve-- it. What a nice and helpful person. He didn't charge us for the assessment, even though he had to traverse the length of our crawl space to see both pumps. He did an excellent job in explaining the relative merits of replacement sump pumps when the time comes. We will definitely have Jon come out to do the work on our outdoor faucet because it is clear that he completely understands the situation and the way to make it better.

Was quoted $450 to fix shower after they took it apart and advised a bad cartridge. Plumber showed up with out common tools like screw drivers. Signed off to have everything fixed after the diagnosis. Then after everything was apart was advised it would be $450 to put it back together as is no fix or $940 to fix it. How is that a free estimate or diagnosis? Paid $450 for the diagnosis and another $440 for the fix? Work is done and I am satisfied with it but being quoted $450 and signing off on it only to be charge doesn't $940 isn't right.

They were good. I remember them specifically. They were good. They were very professional, and didn't try to up-sell me. Nothing.

I contacted Hope Plumbing because their website indicated they specialized in old homes and this home was built in 1900. They showed up exactly when scheduled and I even received an advance email with the name and photo of the employee who was coming to the house. They provided two options with estimates and started work the same day. They were able to solve a couple of challenges the old house provided, and worked diligently until the work was completed. The team was very professional and pleasant. The price was a little high, but it was worth it for the great service and quality work provided. I would hire them for future projects.
