Description of Work: Came out to test water and talk about possibility of renting a water softener. They were very informative and professional during the visit. They asked when I was looking to have one installed and I told them "as soon as possible, I could have my final decision by tomorrow". They left after the appointment and I never heard back! I ended up scheduling another water test and appointment with a competitor and went with their services instead.

Description of Work: It was determined that my Culligan softener system could not be repaired.When I first called for service, I was told it would be 29 days out to get someone here. I called the next day and expressed I had been a customer with their products for decades and the appointment needed to be sooner. Someone was here in about 5 days. This has happened before.The person who arrived was professional and very courteous. The Culligan products are fine, although costlier than others. The customer service in Indianapolis needs to vastly improve.

Description of Work: When I moved to my current home 9 years ago I purchased a Culligan water softner system for around $1,200. Today (a Thursday morning) I called for service (using the number I found for the area I live in) because the softner will not regenerate and displays an odd code. I have well water and basically cannot use my water without it being conditioned. I was told that unless I pay an "emergency" service fee of $160, I cannot get service until NEXT Thursday. Basically, I would be without water during that time. I expected that I might not get service today, but waiting 7 days unless I pay an "emergency" fee on top of the repair costs seems a bit like extorsion. At this point, I will look for a replacement for the current softner system and it will not be from Culligan of Indianpolis.
