All Star Tire & Auto Service

I have been using them for a long time. I know that they are a family-owned business. We also take our company vehicles there because it is close and convenient. They also treat us really well because we have been using them for such a long time. I would use them again in the future.

I called about a week before to let them know I was coming in and what I though might be wrong with my vehicle. I dropped it off in the morning and they gave me a ride back to my house. I got a call a little while later to tell me what was wrong with my engine and tell me and updated estimate. I had estimated it would cost much more than it did so I was able to get more work done than I expected. When it was done they called to say that it was ready and they would come pick me back up. Everyone was incredibly nice and they all treated me very well. My vehicle runs better than it has in a long while.

Everything went great. Gave me a ride home after dropping off my vehicle. Thanks so much!

Loved it! Took advantage of the free shuttle service to and from my work. Their prices are fair and have the product knowledge to make the right recommendations! I drive from Bloomington to Indy five days a week (120 mile rd trip) and love the tires and their installation! Will definitely use them again and have recommended them to everyone who asks!

Brought car in for 3,000 mile oil change. Told them of my wife's hearing "squeal" upon turning and accelerating after applying brakes. Good questioning upon turning keys over to customer service representative (CSR). About 45 minutes later, the car was ready. Brake pads were inspected while rotating tires and no problems were found. Test drive did not find squeals. Charges, work done and payment were inputted to computer where they can highlight potential problems and show records of complete work done. CSR's and personnel were professional, courteous and people-oriented at all times. Price was extremely fair for services rendered!

It went great. The tire is fixed and they were very quick about it. Very friendly, professional, and the work was excellent. I will definitely be using them again for any tire needs. Overall, I had a great experience with them.

I took my car to All Star Tire & Auto when I started hearing grinding near my rear left tire. I thought it might be the brakes or something to do with the rear axle. They discovered that something had broke in my brake rotor, and informed me that this was a common problem for my car's make and model year. I've had the car for about 6 years, so I was surprised this hadn't happened sooner. I took it in before work in the morning and requested that it be fixed the same day. They offered to give me a ride to work, which I found very nice, but I had already made arrangements to get to work. I said I would like to pick it up after work around 5:30pm and they informed me they closed at 5pm. However, they allowed me to pick my car up after hours, which I did, and come back the next day to pay my bill. They went above an beyond what other auto places would have done, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Super service. I waited at their waiting area which has free coffee, popcorn and wi-fi. They do provide shuttle service.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with any automotive service center/dealership. I contact them based off the reviews I read on Angie's List, as well as their good rating. One thing really convinced me to go with All Star Tire & Auto Service - the shuttle service to the downtown area. Being that I work downtown that was a major benefit, so I didn't have to work out dropping it off somewhere and arranging a ride to and from work which saved a lot of time and hassle. I contacted them around noon and asked to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was very nice and helpful in letting me know that they could really perform the alignment at any time that would work for me. I was in somewhat of a pinch to get it done quickly being that it was Wednesday and I am headed on a 4 hour trip a few days later. The receptionist let me know that I could bring the car in that same day, so I did just that. Upon getting to the shop, I got everything set up and the person I spoke with (I am horrible with names) asked what time I needed the car to be finished. I told him that I was off work at 5pm and he said ok, then wrote down 4pm as the deadline for them to be completed. They then drove me back to work and said they would give me a call when they were finished. At 3:50pm they called to say that the car was completed and that a rep would be calling me in the next few minutes to schedule a time for them to pick me up. I got the call and waited for them to pick me up. Within 10-15 minutes I was on my way to pick up my car. After paying for the service they provided a print out of the numbers for the alignment showing the before and after marks. I left thanking them for probably the best experience I have ever had. Upon driving my car around I am thoroughly satisfied with the work and will recommend them to anyone that I find that needs auto services. Great experience from a great rated service provider!!

I pulled in around 9.30 on Monday morning and walked right in. I told them the issue and they inspected it and said that they would get it fixed. I mentioned the TPMS sensor was possibly bad and they called me a few hours later about it. They installed the new part for the tire and had it all completed by noon. They took care of me and the price is a lot better than what you would pay at the dealership. Great work guys!!!

Excellent experience...highly professional behind the counter and in the shop. They performed the necessary work on time and under estimate.

I spoke with Chris on the phone and expected that I would have to buy a new tire. When I came int to All Star, Chris told me that the blemish on the tire was not dangerous, although he could have insisted that I needed a new tire. He remounted and balanced all tires at a surprisingly reasonable cost.

Took car in for oil/filter change, lube and tire rotation. They called me within two hours and said my tires were pretty worn (as I already knew) and recommended they be replaced but...they suggested a lesser known brand of tire saying that they knew it was just as good as a big name brand but kept customer costs down. They also suggested an alignment and when I got the car back...the same day...it drove like a new car! Excellent advice and service!

The company is conveniently located on the north side of downtown. I dropped my car off in the morning before work and a staff member gave me a ride to my office downtown. About an hour after dropping my car off, they called me letting me know what the problem was with my car and a price quote. I received a call in the afternoon letting me know that they were done with my car and I was able to arrange for them to pick me up later in the afternoon to get a ride back to the shop. The drove wonderfully after the brakes were replaced. The downtown location and shuttle service are very convenient and I will definitely use this company again.

They got me in promptly and finished the work quickly. They also gave me a ride to and from work. Those parts of the experience were great. The price, however, is high. Their invoice states the labor charge was $219. That means that, according to them, the parts cost $211. Walk into any parts store, ask for their most expensive, premium parts and you still won't pay even half that much RETAIL. I would assume they don't pay retail for their parts. That means they marked up their parts prices by at least 100 percent. So with tax, my total bill was $414.19 -- AFTER a $30 coupon. That's highway robber. So that's one black mark against them. The second: When calling to tell me what was wrong with my car, the ticket writer said my air filter was "real bad." Not just that it needed to be replaced. He was descriptive about how bad it was. Only problem is I just changed the air filter myself. It was brand-new. When I pointed this out to him he stuttered and backpedaled. All-Star has since called me, apologized, and assured me this is not the way they do business. I believe them, but I'm still gun-shy about going back.

Very professional and courteous. Priced quoted over of the phone was spot on. They even came and picked me up after closing hours (and were happy to do it) as I was stuck in a meeting and unable to pick up my car before the shop closed. The follow up phone call I received a week after the repair was a nice touch as well - really shows that they value your business.

I was able to get an appointment the same day. I then showed up early for the appointment and they were able to get started right away. I don't know how long it should normally take to do everything that they did, but it seemed like it took a longer time than necessary. There was popcorn and water in the lobby to eat which was nice. Overall it was a good experience.

I paid $700, which included the tires and my insurance deductible. They were awesome. They kept me fully informed. The difficulty I had with getting the work done was entirely on the side of my insurance company and those complications. My insurance had to go do an adjustment and approve the work but all along the way All Star kept me fully informed. They were very appreciative that I was a victim in the situation. They were also very appreciative of the fact that I intended to use that car to leave the state to undergo surgery within a matter of days. Once the insurance company approved the work I really needed the car back as quickly as possible and they fully appreciated that and fully kept to the timeline. I could not be happier with their work along the way. I also purchased a lock for the catalytic converter and they installed it for me free of charge. I would nominate them for the Page of Happiness and I would absolutely use them again.

All Star Tire is great. I took my car in on a Tuesday for an oil change, and to have the air conditioning checked. I also asked if they could provide an estimate for new brakes and tires. I dropped my car off in the morning around 7:30am and All Star Tire had someone drive me to work that morning, which was great!. Around 11, they called me to let me know that they had cleaned out my air conditioning and informed me that all I needed were new brake pads for my car. They also told me that they could install the new brake pads that day and have it done by the time I got off work. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was ready and waiting. The staff was very friendly and professional. The gentleman I spoke with at the store walked me through picking out new tires and was incredibly knowledgeable. I plan on returning there in a couple of weeks to have the new tires installed.

The receptionist was prompt in answering the phone and was also very friendly. She transferred me over to a mechanic, Craig, who was able to give me estimates for replacing my tires even though I wasn't sure what size of tires I would need. He was also knowledgeable; I gave him the make & model of my car and he was able to quote me a price range from that information. He explained to me the different warranties available and which ones he would recommend, but wasn't pushy. When it's time to replace my tires, I will definitely keep this company in mind!

Start to finish, the easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had with an auto service/tire company. I dropped my car off in the morning, and a representative from All Star drove me to work for free! They asked me what time i needed my car by that day, and they actually finished ahead of schedule, called my cell to let me know they were finished, and picked me up to take me back to my car which was SO considerate/helpful/easy- I couldn't believe it. Instead of having to rely on friends/family or coworkers for a ride, I was picked up quickly, taken to my car and paid WAY less than my dealership quoted me for top of the line tires. I was above and beyond impressed with the whole process. Who would have known that buying tires could be a pleasant experience?! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for fair price on tires and excellent service. Thank you to everyone there!

Craig, the person handling the phones was great. Offered to drive me back to work while the car was being serviced. They were very fast and $100 below the other estimate I received. The office is nice and the staff is friendly. Happy with the results and will use again in the future.

Excellent. I called and the person I talked with looked into the tires I was interested in and helped me choose similar but not as expensive tires. I felt they were very honest and willing to answer my questions, and I'm happy with the new tires. They also made me aware that I was going to need new brakes, but did not try to pressure me to get them replaced by them immediately.

It was 100% good. ALL STAR TIRE & AUTO SERVICE is Indianapolis' best Auto Tire and Service, bar none!

Friendly service; they also noted I needed tires and provided two estimates for two brands when they called. I took a previous car there and recently started going again--I've always found them honest, helpful and friendly.
