Superbly. This third-generation (I think) family-owned business is outstanding. I've used them off and on for over 30 years. Many mechanics there have been there for nearly as long. Great service. Great prices.

It went great! I dropped my car off before work. They gave me a ride to work also. My car was ready to go by noon. Very friendly and helpful people.

I will start by saying, they are timely with their repairs and the shuttle service to and from work is a bonus. However, I doubt I'll be going back after a couple of frustrations I've with them recently. The first of which is minor but I've had both headlights replaced on this car by them. It requires taking the whole front bumper off and is tedious, which is why I'd rather have a professional do it than waste my whole Saturday messing with the headlights. The first time I had them replace the headlight was sometime in the late summer/early fall of last year (2015). They did great and I was charged $50 for the service. More than anyone would like to pay for a headlight but it is what it is. Fast forward to late April of this year (2016) and they replace the other headlight, I go to pick up the car, and they give me a bill for $144. Extremely caught off guard, it's the same service but nearly one hundred dollars more? I expressed my concern and was told that it probably took longer to get to. He also said, "sounds like you were under charged." I didn't like the explanation but I know they have a business to run, he knocked $20 off the bill and I paid. After paying they went out to pull my car around. Low and behold the car wouldn't start. They had to jump start the battery and the owner said, "have you had issues starting that up?." I replied not at all and someone probably just left a light running. I drove back to work and everything was fine. When I came out after work the car wouldn't start again, dead battery. I should have looked before but the headlights were switched off of auto and turned to 'on' full time. That explained why my battery kept running down. Ever since the battery has been barely turning over, and yesterday it finally died. I called and spoke to the owner, Chris I believe, and he said he'd talk to his tech and see what happened. He did agree they left the headlights on, which killed the battery. He said imy battery was old but they'd be willing to sell me a battery for 50% off and I'd just have to pay the labor rate for them to put it in. I appreciated the offer and thanked him for it. After consideration, I decided to not accept his offer because why would I want to put more money in their pocket for having to replace a battery when I could have gotten another year out of it? In the end, I went to auto zone and replaced the battery myself. It took ten minutes and cost $115. The owner said my estimate for them was around $104. A better deal and probably a better battery, but I feel that if a mistake is made a company who truly values repeat customers will bite the bullet and make sure they walk away feeling better. Not having to pay out of pocket due to their mistake specifically.

It went great! I took my car in for a routine oil change, and when they inspected my car, they put together a quote for two new tires and back brakes. I've had my car 7 years and 2 tires were originals, and I knew they were needed. The back brakes were original too so I definitely felt like they were being honest in what needed to be done. I was able to schedule the work to be done the next day, and it all went extremely well! I drove my car off and it felt brand new, driving so much better. I felt like their price was extremely reasonable and I didn't hesitate getting the maintenance done on my car. I highly recommend All Star and only have positive things to say!!

I had my car towed there on Friday. They called to let me know not to expect my car over the weekend, so they set the expectation up front so I could plan accordingly. They let me know first thing Monday morning that I needed a new alternator and battery. I OK'd the repairs and they called me later that day to let me know it was complete. Pick up and payment was easy, but I mostly am impressed with the open communication! Especially when you are without a car.

Other significant & unrelated issues were diagnosed. My vehicle is NOW scheduled for another visit, to repair the remaining issues, that I requested be addressed at a later date. I couldn't be more pleased!

As best I can tell, the oil change was done fine. On the surface the price on this deal seemed great since it was for a $22 oil change/tire rotation, but then I pick up my car and they tell me I owe an additional $16 or so because a different weight of oil was used. I checked the deal I purchased, and to be fair it was in the fine print that they reserved the right to charge more under that circumstance. I have to admit to being annoyed that there wasn't a clearer warning that I would be charged more, either more clearly in the advertising or at some point before the work was done and I picked my car up. I took my car there because of that deal, and by the end of it, it cost me the same as competing places would cost. Anyway, I just wish the communication was clearer, and I would warn people buying the $22 oil change to be prepared to possibly end up paying nearly twice that by the time the transaction is complete, and that they're not really offering a price that is much (if at all) below industry standard. With that said, the surprise does fall on me for not reading the fine print up front, and again the job was done fine.

Everything was great! They offer a shuttle downtown which is great. Brakes, oil change and flat turned out great with no problem. This is a busy shop and they have always been good about getting me and to work on time. When the day at work is done, they even offer to come pick me up. Great service at a fair price. Can't get any better downtown!

They are located here downtown, have a shuttle to take you back to work or pick you up from work to get your car. Their additional charge for a different type of oil wasn't bad at all! And it's clearly a family run business and I appreciate how nice and helpful they were! And my car is running great!! AND they didn't have any high pressure sales tactics to get me to get additional work done on my car; they let me know what it needs according to mileage but didn't try to scare me into getting it done!! Great shop and I will be back!

All star was awesome. They let us drop off our vehicle an hour after purchasing a big deal offer for an oil change and tore rotation. Even with short notice they took care of everything we needed and even gave us a ride home while they worked on our vehicle. I will absolutely be coming back for more service.

Very friendly and customer service was excellent. They performed an oil change and inspection, during service they had a shuttle to take me to my destination downtown. Called to let me know once it was completed and went over inspection with me and that rear brakes will need replaced in future. Price quoted for brakes a little high. Everything with oil change was good and will definitely go back again for an oil change.

It was fine. I was there the last quarter. I like them. I generally like them, they slipped the last time and forgot, the paperwork said that they put in five quarts when my car takes seven and for that small reason I would give them an A-. I don't have to wait to long when I have to see them.

Fantastic! Great customer service from the phone call scheduling my appointment to checking out. Plus my car is working great and the tire light has gone off! I would highly recommend their services to anyone! Especially since they did not try to up-sell on unnecessary products, and it might be the ONLY place this has ever happened. I will be back.

They were fast, friendly and even offered a service to drive me to my office downtown. As long as I'm working downtown, this will be my go to place for an oil change and other services.

Definitely one of best experiences to date for an oil change/tire change service. I was given a shuttle back to work so I could drop my car off and pick it up after work when they finished. I was grateful as well when they called to update me about finding the nail in the tire. Felt like I received the All Star service. Thank you!

I had an emergency with a flat tire while heading to work. I had no idea where to take my car, but remembered seeing All Star Tire & Auto on N. Capitol, which happened to be just two blocks from where I had the flat. The service was excellent! They had me back in my car (courtesy of shuttle service) before noon, and the price was less than originally quoted. I couldn't be happier with their service, and will be back whenever the need arises!

They have a nice shop downtown and performed the work. Service was a little slow that morning, but not too bad. I was glad to find a new vendor that I hadn't used before. While I waited I noticed their interactions with other customers. All their staff was very friendly and professional. I even overheard them provide directions to some customers who'd just moved into the downtown area. Again, the service was pretty straight forward and the wait time went by as I read a few magazines.

Notified me that the rear tires were worn and needed replacement. I had no idea, since the tires only had 20,000 miles on them. Scheduled to get new rear tires installed by them on Friday. My only very MINOR complaint is there seemed to be a bit of tension between the son and his father, the owner. The son forgot to scan my credit card and handed it back to me. I had to ask if he had scanned my credit card and he had forgotten Just a typical son not wanting to take direction from his father. Certainly nothing major. The son was very professional and courteous to me. Overall, a great experience. I have used them before and will use them again.
