Description of Work: They came to the house, Christian, and asked if anyone had done a consultation. He explained that there are times when they will not be able to complete the service for several reasons. Once he looked at our space, he thought the unit would be too large to install. He grabbed a unit and placed it where it would need to be placed and confirmed that we did not have enough room to place the unit. He offered some other suggestions and options but ultimately, we decided not to move forward at this time.

Description of Work: Before I purchased the deal I had called Mark IV to discuss the deal. I wanted to know the brand of humidifier and what exactly was being installed. I felt comfortable with the purchase after speaking with the owner himself and went ahead to purchase the deal. A couple days after the deal was purchased I got an e-mail with a confirmation of the date/time of when the tech would be coming to look at our furnace to ensure it would fit. This date/time was within the timeframes I requested. Appointment day comes and the technician was a little over an hour late. He came in and took some measurements and determined it wouldn't fit. The technician did offer me some alternatives that I wanted to look into. I later called the office and spoke with Jennifer. I asked her what the cost would be for the alternative and she said she would have to find out and call me back. By end of business that day I had not heard anything so I called back. I spoke with Amanda and she told me she would leave a note for Jennifer to have her call me right back. I didn't receive a call the next day and I called back around 2:15pm...Jennifer stated phone systems were having issues but told me what the alternative would cost which wasn't something I had planned. The original deal didn't work out so I requested a refund for my Big Deal. Thanks, Jama.

Description of Work: Purchased a whole-home humidifier deal via Angie's List. The service technician was on time, very polite, and thorough in explaining the work to be performed. He was efficient at performing the work and provided thorough details on how to operate the system, while answering all questions. Very happy with product and service.

Description of Work: Coupon cost was $449. Installer could not do the install due to design of my furnace. Owner came, analyzed system and offered to make a sheet metal alteration for an additional $100. I agreed, and a week later he made the installation.

After he arrived, he got a call from the office that he was supposed to go to a different location and another technician was on the way to my house. He left and the other technician showed up a few minutes later. He flushed the water heater and inspected the furnace. Other than the scheduling mix-up, everything was fine.

Description of Work: They inspected my AC unit (both components, indoors and outdoors) and tuned them up. Cleaned, installed a new filter (I had on hand) and checked coolant. The technician was very professional and said my unit was doing very well for being 21 years old.
