Description of Work: About a month after the spring AC check up, preformed by Mark IV, I had to call them for service. The fan on the outdoor compressor wouldn't turn on, which rendered the unit useless. It was a hot day and I was eager to get it repaired. Their technician responded the same day and quickly diagnosed and repaired the unit. They honored my Angie's List membership and granted a 10% discount on the needed part. The process only took about 30 minutes, and I was thankful to have the AC back in service, and operating well!

Description of Work: My A/C quit working, and I scheduled a different company to come out. By the time they got out for a service call, the A/C was working again, but I knew something was wrong, so I had them out anyway. The tech that came out checked one thing, and stated that the compressor was bad, and I would need a new unit, and I should probably replace my furnace too. Obviously I wanted a second opinion, so I called Mark IV. What a difference! The tech did a thurough inspection, and determined that we could replace the compressor (which he called to check on and found out that it was still under warranty!) or replace the unit. I chose to go with the new unit so that I could get a new five year warranty. The unit was roughly $2,400, which was significantly less than the quote from the other company, and it was a better unit. The tech came back the next day, to install it (even though it was threatening rain), and it has worked fine since. I was highly impressed with every aspect of this company, from the lady who scheduled the initial appointment, through the final installation. I will most certainly use them again when I need hvac work.

Description of Work: Technician performed a tune-up on my AC unit. He was knowledgeable and personable. He helped me make the decision to replace the thermostat after I described a recent problem. He did not pressure me to make the purchase. He informed me of a discounted annual contract. I plan on purchasing this contract. I will request this technician in the future.

Description of Work: Basic furnace tune-up & cleaning. Nothing more. Nothing less. Selling my home and the buyer's home inspector stated that the furnace's safety switch was taped down, deeming it ineffective. Buyer requested "licensed" technician to inspect unit. "Licensed" technician was able to verify that Home Inspector was full of $#*! by disproving his claim of a bogus safety switch.

Description of Work: The technician inspected our HVAC system...took about 40 minutes. |The technician was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Our eight year old system passed inspection but the technician explained some possible part and performance malfunction in the future and if so, explained some scenarios that will fix it. He answered all my questions without any sales pressure or scare tactics and mentioned to watch for coupons they offer on Angie's List from time to time that will help off set their price of any future service. |He left me with the impression of a person and company that I would want to call upon again.
