I purchased their Tune Up & Clean coupon via Angie's List. Service went great, Steve came out to do the tune up and clean. He was very nice and didn't try to up sell me on stuff I didn't need. He gave me an honest assessment of my 13 year old furnace and what I could expect in the coming years. He mentioned Mark IV?s maintenance service but not in a pushy way. I went ahead and signed up for it since my systems are 13 years old, I feel confident that when something major does go wrong I will be able to count on the them.

He did everything as described about. However it was determined that one of the fuel lines that entered into the burner was clogged with creosote. He said it could not be cleaned out and told me I needed a new furnace. My furnace is at least 40 years old and I agree that I do need a new furnace. The problem is, I can't afford to purchase a new furnace and my credit isn't good enough right now to finance the purchase of of one either. I would have liked to known whether there couldn't have been something more done to clean out the burner line. the technician said there wasn't, but I would like to have another opinion about that, especially since he indicated that there could be issues with carbon monoxide release. As my basement is very drafty, he and I both agreed that it wasn't likely that the CO could build up very much, but it is still a concern. I really would like to know if there isn't something more that could be done to keep my furnace going for a bit longer.

Showed up on time and was very helpful. My humidifier was not working and they fixed it. After they left, I noticed it was leaking water so I called them back out and they adjusted the water flow and now it works perfectly. There was no charge for the second trip.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out great. They were very professional and easy to talk to. They did everything in a timely manner. I did not have any complaints.

I like how they gave a 45min window of when they would arrive rather than a typical 2hr window. He did an heater tune up. He had question about a safety concern with wiring and texted picture to his supervisor. Turns out it was fine but I appreciate his diligence.

Great service from the time I called the office to the time the serviceman came out. I plan on using them for my future HVAC needs.

Called Mark IV Environmental at 10:12 am on New Years Day....Yes, January 1, 2014 and our furnace goes on the fritz. Received a call back from them at 10:17 am. They had someone on the way to help us. They were there in less than an hour. UNBELIEVABLE for a national holiday! Eric diagnosed the problem...bad motherboard and showed me where it was burned out and causing the problem. As it really isn't possible for them to carry every part for every possible furnace unit, he got us up and running and scheduled us to have a tech come out on 1/2/14 with the correct part as he was pretty sure they did not have the board at the facility. He called me up about 30 minutes after he left and said he found they did have a board and would come back out and replace it today. Was back at our house in about 35 minutes and replaced the board and all went well. Awesome, awesome, awesome...very professional and very, very helpful. I could not recommend them any more if I tried. Thank you Mark IV you are a lifesaver!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked fine. He seemed to be efficient with the job, he got there on time and I didn't have any problems with any of that. He did suggest something that we could have done in the future.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they arrived on time. There were no additional costs beyond the cost of the Big Deal. They were excellent!

This company went over and above on their service providing additional information about our furnace. Very professional and punctual.

Appt scheduled between 1&4, Steve got here at 1:30 and cleaned furnace. He was very polite and knowledgeable and did a great job. He also fixed an access hole from prior duct cleaning by another company. They did a sloppy job in covering hole, and Steve took the tape off that they put on and used sheet metal screws to secure it. It doesn't bow out now when furnace is running. We will be calling Mark IV in spring for A/C service

I used the Big Deal and it was a great price. They showed up right on time. The technician was very friendly. Did a great and fast job. Explained things very well. This is by far the best heating and cooling company I have used. The others tried to sell me things I didn't need. Mark IV isn't like that. It was a very valuable service and I will continue to use them.

I talked to Mark about a week ago and told him what was going on right before I purchased the big deal for them. He was very helpful and told me to go ahead and purchase the big deal and let his guys come out there could be an issue. After purchasing the big deal a day later I was contacted to schedule my appt. and set it for 8am so I wouldn't be very late to work. They actually pass the message along to the tech to make sure he was their at 8am thankfully he showed up at 7:45 and got right to work. Checked everything out and gave it the stamp of approval. I was very happy with everything that was said and advice I was given from the tech. Would highly recommend this company for work to any one around.

They did a fabulous job. They were very professional and came on time. Scheduling went well and I was able to put in my requested dates. They called me to schedule the appointment and they chose one of those dates. One technician came out and it took less than an hour to do the work.

It went great. They were wonderful. We had purchased their service plan so there was no cost for the tuneup.

The service tech was very personable and professional. He also advised us on a future heating/air installation and gave us tips on how to keep the system running efficiently. I was impressed with his knowledge and helpfulness. We will be using them again!

The man who came out did a fine job. He was willing to clean the hollows of my furnace and my air conditioner worked when he did the cleaning and the filter changes and all of that. I appreciated that. He did the work a little bit after I purchased the big deal. I also bought a service contract with him for him to come back for an ongoing maintenance.

I had a big deal purchase. It worked out good. We are happy with the service. We just liked what they did actually, nothing bad.

The company sent an e-mail after we purchased the deal asking that we call to set up an appointment. We called and set up a time for a few days later, on the day and time of our choice. The technician arrived promptly at the appointment time. He was a pleasant guy who very politely answered all questions, performing his job in a very timely manner. We were a little confused by the detailed invoice which was subsequently sent via e-mail, which indicated "clean and sweep firebox & heat exchanger box", as while standing there the entire time with the technician I did not notice a sweeper in use. Perhaps sweep is just an industry term and the furnace is no longer really swept but the invoice causes a little concern about what was stated as being done. Other than that, so far so good.

We always used Dial One in the past, but we grew tired of them forever telling us "the coil is dirty, it will cost $700.XX to clean it", "This furnace is aging", and worst of all, giving us the hard sell on a "service agreement" (where you pay for your next AC tuneup/furnace tuneup in advance, and it ends up costing you MORE than if you'd just used coupons). We decided to check Angie's List for a better company to tune up our furnace, and we found one! They were punctual, professional, went about the work quickly and told us our furnace is operating perfectly. They didn't try to get any more money out of us for anything - no coil cleaning, no "service agreement", nothing. The gentleman just did the work and went on his way. It was economical too, because we bought the $55 deal on Angie's List, and it was pre-paid. We will be happy to do business with this company in the future (which might be substantial, because we may be replacing our central AC unit in the spring).
