The tech DID troubleshoot and service the furnace, but there was zero cleaning of the furnace. We were asked about what size filter it took and provided the information to the scheduler, NO FILTER was provided. I had to go out and buy a new one after he left. He was a knowledgeable technician, but was in no way prepared to clean the furnace. The burners were not removed and cleaned, nothing was vacuumed out. He did remove and clean the flame sensor and reinstall it. Furnace is working fine, but by no means was this a cleaning.

Mark IV was excellent with communication, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. Everyone that we dealt with from the folks answering the phones, to the owner, to the installers were extremely friendly, patient and great to work with. I purchased the whole house humidifier deal that was going on at the time, and decided to upgrade to a higher-end unit. Overall, the work was completed successfully and the unit is now installed and working properly. Unfortunately, it took a few trips to get this done. There were some issues with the original wiring of the unit, but it was quickly taken care of at little or no inconvenience to us. In these situations, you always want it done right the first time, but that's not 100% possible all the time and we do understand that. I gave a C grade on quality since the unit was initially installed improperly, but A's everywhere else that I felt I could since they made every effort to make it right. Based on the overall experience and price, I would use Mark IV again for future work and I do trust them completely to get the work done right.

There is a reason this group has almost uniform A ratings. The owner, Mark Stansbury, knows about heating inside and out, and Bryan, the technician who installed our humidifier, did everything to a very high standard and also knows his work extremely well. The office staff were highly professional, and were able to accommodate our rather complicated schedules well. We've had uniformly good service from AngiesList providers, but Mark IV is the at the top of the list. Highly recommended.

They came out per the appointment, check out the installation but did not have the unit for my application on the truck. Re-scheduled and returned as requested installed the unit and reviewed the maintenance and operation instructions. Very please with the workmanship.

We were pleased with the service Mark IV provided with the install of the new furnace and air conditioning units. All the employees we interacted with during the entire process were exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and friendly. The install of the furnace, air conditioning unit, and new air ducts went well with only a couple of minor glitches. Those were resolved in a timely manner. Although we did not do exhaustive work comparing costs, we felt that the price for the work done was competitive. The sub-contractor who did the duct cleaning was also very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall we were satisfied with the work that was done, and will continue to use Mark IV in the future for our heating and air-conditioning needs.

Brad is the best! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and flushed both of our water heaters for a very low price. He also helped us troubleshoot our high electric bills by inspecting our furnace, sump pumps, etc. I would not hesitate to use this company again!

I made an appointment and was able to get a new furnace fairly quickly. The installation went great and I asked for a fairly cheap model as I was not interested in paying ALOT for a new furnace. I figured the new furnace would be quieter than the one I had (A Trane model- 80% efficiency model) The new one is TechStar or something like that. 80% efficiency also. Anyway, it makes this vibrating hum noise before the burners light up and the fan starts blowing that I wasn't sure if it was normal so I called them back so they could have a look at it. The guy said it was just the way it runs and there wasn't really anything you could do to change it. The furnace is in my basement and I can hear it all the way on the 2nd floor. I have no complaint about the service but I have to say I was disappointed that the furnace had that noise when the older one did not. I didn't push the issue since I'm about to move out to another house but I guess you get what you pay for and since I went with the cheap model - I guess that's how it goes.

While I gave Mark IV all A's in my initial review, because I did feel they did great work, Today's encounter with them has changed my mind. This morning I had no heat, I called them to have them come out. I asked them if they would waive their $79 trip charge if I had them make the repairs, which many of their competitors do. They refused and would not budge. I feel because they did my annual maintenance and the furnace was in working order they would work with me on this trip charge. They have forever lost my business over a $79 trip charge.

Excellent. Very professional. Thorough inspection and told me everything they found. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so. They have never tried to sell me something I don't need (which cannot be said about their competition). Recommended.

Timely, excellent, professional service. The technician arrived on time, did a thorough check of the furnace, recommended we get a carbon monoxide detector (we did), told us which filter to use, told us what he found, and then sent a thorough report through email of everything he found. We just forwarded it to our landlord to let him know. It was a great experience.

The installer did come within the time window. And the overall install took about 2 hrs and it was performed professionally. Then the installer went over the system and explained how the system works. Overall, pleased with the quality of the work.

GREAT job and very well priced.

Mark IV technician tried to flush my hot water heater. I hadn't flushed it in a couple of years and the lime had built up too much and water does not run out of the heater. The technician tried for some time to do the job, but was unable to do so. This was in no way his fault. He provided me with some very good things to look for the next time I get a hot water heater. He was completely upfront, honest, very diligent. I have no complaints. Also, in scheduling, the person I spoke with was professional, friendly, very easy to work with.

We purchased the inspection through Angie's List. The company set up an appointment quickly. The technician was prompt and professional. He explained details about how the furnaces were running. Pleasant experience.

Their technicians are punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to explain different maintenance scenarios and options. Their technicians have always been more focused on completing the work requested, rather than trying to up sell additional services and memberships. Bought the big deal to have Mark !V do my annual furnace cleaning and inspection. communication was excellent, Christian showed up as promised and did a thorough job explaining everything and noting items I should keep an eye. Excellent job!

They arrived as expected and flushed the water heater. We've been having some issues due to buildup and hoped flushing it might help. I was not expecting them to check the furnace but they did that, too. Flushing did to resolve our issue but they made appropriate recommendations for both the water heater and the furnace. They followed up on the appointment with a copy of the paid invoice and notes reviewing their findings and recommendations. Even though flushing the water heater wasn't the easy fix I had hoped, Mark IV certainly met the expectations of the deal.
