They had to make accommodations for changes in size of the water heaters due to regulations and they had to ensure that the balloon (used for dealing with water pressure that is too high) remained intact with the new water heater. Everything was done on schedule and on budget.

Mark IV is an outstanding service provider. Hired them through Angie's List service deal for $49.00 to try them out. Liked them so much I purchased a very reasonable service agreement that provides HVAC maintenance into 2018. Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous service staff. Highly recommend.

Tech was on time, professional and replaced water heater in just over an hour. He showed me how to adjust, operate and flush the water heater. I signed verifying the work was completed and he said I would receive e-mail receipt and warranty info. It has been 4 days and a phone call later and I still have no documentation, receipt or warranty information.

Christian arrived on-time as scheduled. He put on booties to cover his shoes, which I always appreciate, and he went to work. He was professional and courteous throughout, he explained the work he was doing and offered tips to help maintain our furnace. On his way out, he noticed my thermostat was crooked from not being installed properly. He went out to his truck and returned with a wall anchor to properly secure the thermostat. He said it bugged him to see that so he fixed it. What a great attitude and professionalism by this man and the company. I am thoroughly impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Christian and Mark IV.

Once again, Mark IV did and excellent job in quickly resolving the heating issue and also gave advice on how to prevent the problem in the future. The service technician showed up on time, was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. They gave me a same-day appt.

Very professional, explained what he was doing and recommended next steps

Owner and technician observed a bright colored flame that was forced through the door to the furnace. Owner asked tech to clean the material that had fallen onto the burners after the flame through the door incident and he refused. The tech had completed the job in his mind. Owner called company and spoke with the company's owner who said that "The company would not satisfy the homeowner". At 1:30 am the following morning, we smelled strong gas fumes coming from the basement and turned the gas off going to the furnace. Later that day I was able to get another company to come look at the furnace. When he turned it on he saw the forced flame through the door too. In addition, the furnace made a "BOOM" noise and we turned it off again. This company thought it was the gas valve, but it wasn't. While waiting on the part, we decided to call someone else, who upon arrival, found the PILOT ASSEMBLY IMPROPERLY INSTALLED (UPSIDE DOWN) CAUSING GAS TO LOAD UP AND MAKE A SMALL EXPLOSION WHEN THE FURNACE IGNITES. HE REMEDIED THE SITUATION BY PROPERLY INSTALLING THE PILOT ASSEMBLY. In the technician's own words, he said "THE PREVIOUS TECH SOLD US A THERMOCOUPLE THAT WE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE NEEDED, IMPORPERLY INSTALLED IT, LEAVING OUR SYSTEM IN A DANGEROUS CONDITION". As a consequence, we were without heat from November 10 - November 19, 2016. We have incurred $531.00 in expenses as a DIRECT RESULT of the improper installation of the pilot assembly: Rates to 3 companies AFTER Mark IV's , 2 electrical space heaters, and the unknown in the form of upcoming electric bills, in addition to the Angie's List cost for the deal. The subsequent techs found the burners NOT to have been cleaned, which was included in the purchased deal. The inconvenience we experienced, additional expenses we incurred, the unwillingness of Mark IV Environmental Systems Inc to satisfy the consumer, and most importantly, the dangerous condition of the furnace to our safety and the safety of our neighbors, deserves mentioning. The conversation that the homeowner had with the owner of the company, where the company's owner closed the door stating that he could not satisfy the consumer would have alerted him of the causational malfunctioning of the furnace due to the improper installation by the company's tech. What began as a concern expressed to the company's owner about cleaning burners AFTER flames shot out of the furnace, expanded to a compromise of safety for consumers, and had the owner expressed a willingness to follow up behind the work of one of his tech's , perhaps this end result would not have happened.

Mark IV is only company that didn't try to sell me a $2,500 repair package and fixed the problem for $99 in less than 10 minutes. WOW! I will definitely use them again. Obviously they are very very trustworthy. AC works perfectly. Thank you!

The technician was prompt, efficient, and performed all of the work for which we contracted. We will probably use them again.

It went great. Christian was on time, checked furnace and humidifier. He was through and pleasant . He told me about frayed wire that he repaired. I plan to have him back next spring.
