Terrific. Service rep was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. Drained the entire tank and explained the process. He also gave me some information about a service program they offer for hot water tanks, furnaces and AC. Best part? He gave me the information without a hard sell, and I am much more likely to consider his recommendation because I wasn't under a lot of pressure to do so. He focused more on the benefits of the program rather than getting a sale. I appreciated that!

Everything went well. Because the water heater was 20-years old the reps had some problems draining the water heater properly. But, with the issues, they cleaned up promptly. They also had to make adjustments to the pipes. Again, they did so quickly and effectively. The only complaint we have is trying to find the sweet spot with our water. It is so efficient we aren't use to having such hot showers!

Mark IV called very soon and I got scheduled within days. He arrived on time and cleaned the A/C and checked the furnace. I already had the filter, but will purchase the next ones from them as they can sell it to me cheaper than what I can find it for on line or in a hardware store. I also purchased a special service agreement for three cleanings a year.

The tech was very knowledgeable and thorough. I intend to use this Co for both my furnace and a/c tuneups and inspections.

They were fantastic! arrived on time, replaced my 37 y/o water heater and corrected several issues that he ran into.....including a leaking main valve. Kept us informed during the process and made sure we understood how the water heater worked and what maintenance we would need in the future. I would use them again and would highly recommend them!!

Great Guy, very knowledgeable, answered every question I asked and tried to explain how A/C's work, which is very complicated. I know because I took a heating and cooling class before that I didn't tell him about :-) The only thing wrong on both occasions was they said they'd change the filter, but neither time they didn't. he suggested I changed the filter once a month, but as I understand the deal, it included a new filter.

Mark IV Environmental Systems are the guys we use and they are phenomenal. Those guys are bad***. They repaired the furnace 100%. I called them on an emergency on a weekend. Very responsive. Had to replace the whole thing. We were without heat on the coldest, coldest day over the winter and they got me done within 24 hours which was impressive.

The service technician arrived on time and serviced the air conditioner. We are very pleased. My husband and I would hire Mark IV Environmental again.

The specialist arrived at the right hour, but a day early! Turns out there was a mix-up at the office. I was there (but not prepared), and this could have been a real problem if I didn't work from home. The specialist did offer to leave and return the next day, but what a waste of gas and time. We went ahead with the inspection then and there. Turned out a capacitor(?) was blown, causing that extra noise. The specialist quoted me a price and offered to replace it on the spot, and I agreed. Total amounted to: Angie's List $49 A/C inspection, cleaning, tune-up: $49 (paid online) Capacitor replacement: $208.25 (paid on the spot) Total: $257.25 Results: A/C isn't growling like a lion now, so enough said. :) Aside from the scheduling mix-up, everything was excellent! Would I hire again? Well, I went back to Mark IV for our hot water heater replacement, so let my actions speak for me. :)

The specialist was amazing--courteous, knowledgeable. The owner came to help--which, to me, is a great sign of attention to quality and detail, especially in the age of faceless companies that don't treat you like a person but just a number. Although it was a tight fit, they managed to get the old HWH out and the new, slightly bigger, one in. And when I say tight fit, I mean TIGHT. Our furnace and HWH are packed into this tiny closet, and it almost seems like the home builders built around this little space. We'd gotten quotes from others that said there would be extra charges to get in there and remove piping and such to get a new HWH in. After the specialist left, we noticed a metally knock sound while our A/C turned on. We called up Mark IV, the specialist came back the same day and found out it was just a loose panel--readjusted and tada, perfect! :) This is a great sign, too... To some (bad) companies, your priorities are not *their* priorities, and they give you the brush-off, the silent treatment, the "not my problem" schtick, the run-around--you know, the kind of companies you hire once, learn your lesson, and never call again. Not this one. They *know* their customer service, take pride in their work, and treated us like valued customers and people. We moved here from Chicago, and it took forever to find good services there, so we imagined it would take us a long time to find good services here... Well, we lucked out. :) We have a furnace, A/C unit, and many more big-ticket items that need regular maintenance and are due to be replaced soon (and likely to start malfunctioning... but hopefully not any time soon *fingers crossed*), and we're glad we've found a good company to call when it's time! There were no extra charges for the tight space or the second trip, or any extra fees at all! What we paid on Angie's List was all we paid. We liked Mark IV before, but we're *loyal* now--finally, a company with honesty, integrity, courtesy, and know-how all in one, who isn't reaching to nickel-and-dime the customer. Thank you so much!

My heat hvac system was thoroughly examined and prepared for the summer. I had a "permanent" filter that I knew wasn't effective but there are no standard filters for sale in the size I need. He gave the name of a local company that makes inexpensive high quality filters. I really appreciated that. I also purchased a maintenance agreement.

Honestly this purchase was less than expected and hoped for. I should've just used this money towards the purchase of a heat gain/loss test. The technician seemed knowledgeable and was not pushy. I think I was hoping for more suggestions and possible solutions to my lack of air flow. Granted I do have a 20 plus year old A/C. My ratings are probably a little harsh but for $109 and 20 minutes of being onsite this service is overpriced in my opinion. There was plenty of opportunity for them to follow up on additional and potential services but I have not heard from anyone.
