Description of Work: The house was built in the 1950s therefore, we had concerns about lead being released when the old windows were being taken out because we had an new born infant. I paid for Bee to follow a procedure that would limit lead particles as windows were taken out, Bee did not do so. They did reimburse the money I had paid for the process, but I was incredibly disturbed about their lack of professional responsibility. |Secondly, Bee had to return TWICE because windows were not sealed to wall correctly. Cold air flowed thru gaps. |Would never use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced all windows. Added a conservatory (all glass 4 seasons room)

Description of Work: The cost of this service was covered by our insurance as a result of a break in to our home. We needed to have three storm doors and three entry doors replaced. Bee Windows originally installed our doors and windows 19 years ago. The service and quality exceeded our expectations at that time. We would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: They removed 11 old windows and replaced with 11 Renewal by Anderson Windows. They were on time, left no mess behind, and was finished in one day. |I cannot say enough about how satisfied we are, with our new windows, and Faebers Bee Windows. Very professional.

Description of Work: Bee window was very good. We had Anderson widows installed and they did a great job and did a good job cleaning up after installation. All their employees have always been very polite when we worked with them. They came when they indicated and we haven't had any problems with the windows since they were installed. We have had all the windows (about 15) in our house with the exception of 4 at this point replaced by Bee window.

Description of Work: Installed new replacement windows. They didn't do everything they said they would. It was supposed to be done on a Friday, was not done, we lost our whole weekend having them finish the job.

Description of Work: We built a 4 season room onto the back of our house. The salesman that I worked with seemed very nice and knowledgable and we were excited to get started. Things became difficult from there. The room we got wasn't the room I talked to the salesman about. Some of what I asked for was no longer available (he should have known that). The room took a long time to build and to finish up. I did speak to the owner and that got things moving a bit. Our yard was pretty much destroyed. They were supposed to even out the dirt and plant grass. The first time they spinkled some grass seed and there was no way anything was going to grow. I called and they came out again and put seed and straw down but since they left a bunch of concrete debri and sand instead of dirt no grass grew. I was so tired of dealing with them that I just handled the yeard myself. All of that being said, while they were difficult to work with, the room is wonderful. We did have some issues with the door not locking and it took awhile for someone to come fix that but the room itself has been terrific to have and we spend lots of time out there. We LOVE it. We just didn't love the experience. Just a side note, we did a compelte kitchen remodel (including altering doorway/walls) with another company and they were fabulous. I'm not a difficult customer, my expience with Bee was just not good.

Description of Work: Replaced 9 windows in home (8 full size dbl hung and 1 over sink dbl hung; all with grates and screens). Quality is top rate, but the price reflects that. Heating bills were comparable to that of last year, however given the bitter and extensive winter we had, I am glad we had new windows to help keep those costs manageable. The laborers were out within about a week of our contract signing and made quick work of the job with no added finishing issues for us. One error was made and a regular screen was placed where a high visibility screen should have been. Bee refunded the upgrade cost of the screen and then still sent the high visibility screen to our home. We didn't mess with changing it out, but it's nice to have a backup that will work on 8 of our windows. I recommend the Marvin product if it is something you can afford. Overall impression: pricey, but aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient with a promise of excellent customer service and ability to deal directly with owners if any issues arise.
