We were told that they would order the part and have it delivered to our address. We were told to call them when we received the part and the technician would come and install. The part was supposed to be delivered in a week. We did not receive so we called the tech and he said it would be another week. After another week we called several times to the tech and the office number. No one has returned our call. We would like to be refunded the $300 that we gave them for the part. I do not wish to have any of their employees back at my home

Appliance (Major Electric Appliance) - Install or Replace
$589
Hired to repair refrigerator. Charged me $589 to replace ice maker, still didn't work. 2nd technician came out and said it was a valve problem but no parts available. He noted the owner would call me, I have reached out several times. no return calls or follow up, I'm out nearly $600 and refrigerator still doesn't work. Totally ripped off.

Appliance (Microwave Oven) - Install or Replace
Hired him on Thumbtack. He came to the house, said he needed to order a $600 part, asked for $300 upfront, which was paid. Months later, he is yet to show up to fix the oven, return any calls/texts or return my money. I'm unable to even reach him on Thumbtack anymore (not sure if he blocked me or deleted himself off). Find someone else who's honest/reliable.

Faulty part was installed. Revisit was scheduled and no showed. Provider disappeared without a trace. No return call after numerous attempts. Do not use. Find another service provider.
Response from Veteran Appliance Repair
"I have looked through my software system and searched leads through this app and I have no Dave H. As a client. Are you positive that this review was for my company? If it?s under another name I will look it up and see where the disconnect happened and best route to make the situation right best I can."

Repair or Service a Clothes Washer or Dryer
Estimate was $350 and 1 week, ended up being $700 and a month! 1st part sent to the wrong address. Took a week to figure this out. Came back and a new piece was at fault, so we ordered that. Apparently 2 were ordered, then cancelled 5 days later, and another was ordered. Took 5 days to figure this out. Both times paid for ?expedited shipping?. Part came in, tech was on vacation. On week 4, he came back, and 10 mins after he left, an entire wash basin of water was all over on my 2nd floor apartment. He came back and said one of the hoses wasn?t connected right. Job is now ?complete? but the bolts that attach the washer lid to the frame weren?t installed when he was done, and the bolts and their brackets are nowhere to be found (another contractor told me this). ZERO COMMUNICATION on updates.

Repair or Service a Clothes Washer or Dryer
So let start off with the fact that I am moving so I am super stressed out. My dryer decides to stop working in the midst of me washing clothes. Long story short Andrew Shadle swept in like a super hero and fixed my dryer the same day so when I say same day I do not mean I called at 9am and he was there before 5pm, I mean I talked to him after 3pm and my dryer was fixed 3 hours later
