 + -1 moreA rock put a small chip in my front windshield of my Chevrolet. I called Sentry Auto Glass based on Angies LIst ratings. David Logan arrived on time, the next morning after I called. He did the work, expaining what he was doing. Only time will tell if it was entirely successful, but based on my experience so far, I am confident he has stopped the damage. The warranty is money back or applying the cost of repair to replace the windshield. I didn't check other companies for quotes but I was very satisfied with his estimate.
Description of Work: Applied a polymer to a small chip in my auto windshield to seal the outer layer of glass in order to prevent further damage. The job took about 10 minutes.

 + -1 moreMy son's SUV had a rear window broken out when someone threw an object from an overpass on I69. I called Sentry, talked with the owner who was unbelieveably efficient and understanding. He made calls--while I waited on the other line-- and found the window,quoted me a price, gave me options on timing for replacement. I selected mobile replacement, scheduled a time. The individual was on time and very efficient and courteous. The cost was exactly what was quoted. They made a very bad experience easy to recover from in a timely manner. The efficient, service and consideration shown to me and my son during a time of duress was extraordinarily timely, exceptional, thoughtful, and cost efficient and so much appreciated! This is a top notch, customer focused business!

 + -1 moreI contacted Steve Logan after finding the company on Angie's List. He said the windshield would have to be replaced since the crack was bigger than a quarter. He sent a technician out to our home within 2 hours and it took him only 30 minutes to replace the windshield. He cleaned the windshield and gave me after care instructions. They honored the 12% A.L. discount they advertise on the website without me even mentioning it. I just stated I was an A.L. member on the phone. Excellent experience.

 + -1 moreThe installer was late. Since he called to tell me he would be late, I didn't downgrade them for that. The installation was done quickly and efficiently, but the installer left the packing materials in the street and on the driveway when he left. He also used the leather seats in the car as a workbench. Setting up an appointment was very easy and efficient.

 + -1 moreI contacted Sentry by phone for a quote for windshield replacement. I was quoted $239.00 over the phone. Took vehicle in two days later for windshield replacement based on quote. When I returned to pick the vehicle up after the work was completed, I handed the Angies list coupon to the technician. I was then told that the $239.00 quote I was given over the phone two days earlier was the "shop cash price". Then I was told that the non-cash price was higher and, if I used the Angie's list coupon, my price would be $264.00. Since I was told none of this over the phone, I disputed the charge and was ultimately given the $239.00 price but no credit for the Angie's list coupon. And to top off this less than stellar experience, I just received my credit card statement and find that I was billed twice for this service!

 + -1 moreThe window on my daughter's Honda Pilot was broken in when someone robbed her car. She discovered it at 5:30 am. I looked in the list and found that Sentry had a great rating, so I called before opening hours thinking I would have to leave a message. The phone was answered and I was able to talk to a real person. He said they are always very busy on Mondays because of break-ins over the weekend, but he would be able to get her car done that day. When they started working on the car, I received a call that the door wouldn't open. Somehow it was damaged in the break-in also. They didn't give up, though. They took the inside of the door off and were able to get the window fixed. The door still doesn't work, but they made sure she had a working window so she wouldn't freeze during the cold weather. Our entire experience with Sentry was very good, and I would definitely use them again.

Very good about returning phone calls quickly and even came in a little earlier than normal to accommodate my schedule. Charged me exactly estimated cost. Entire job was done in about two hours and I'm pleased with the quality of the installation so far.

 + -1 moreThey came to my place of work and picked up my car to replace the windshield. They were very courteous and did a great job. Several days later I had trouble adjusting the rear view mirror. While running errands,over lunch, I stopped by their shop for help. None of the technicians were on site, but a very nice man from the office came outside, looked at it and fixed it for me! I would definitely use them again and would refer them to others.

The repair did not completely eliminate the mark, no one probably could have because the way it was cracked. It just looks like it is plugged. It will probably last forever. The price was typical.

 + -1 moreMy car has a special windshield, and it would have cost about $1,000.00 to replace the windshield, so we went with a fill. The price was certainly more reasonable than replacing the whole windshield. I thought the guy did a great job, he just couldn't do better because the hole was so deep. I didn't have any means of comparison, but I didn't think the price was unreasonable. My husband was very impressed while watching him. The guy had been doing it for 20 years. They were here to do the job within 5 minutes of the time he stated.

 + -1 moreBased on stellar reviews in Angie's List, I called Sentry Glass at 11:30 this morning to see when I could bring the car to their shop to be fixed. Steve at Sentry Glass said that I could bring it in today, but that Dave, who does this work, was already on the road and would not charge extra for coming to my house. Dave Logan called back immediately, said he would be there between 12:30 and 1:00. He showed up just about 12:30, was finished in 15 minutes and explained the repair to me. He did not take the Angie's List coupon but gave me the $45 price ($10 off his usual price) based on what Steve quoted me--and apparently him as well, because I didn't even have to mention the price.

Description of Work: I had a 3/8" divot in my windshield. Travelers' insurance would not pay to repair it because it was near my line of sight.

Professional, fair and felt like they were glad to have me as a customer. Time they told me to allow for (I think it was 75 minutes) was exact.
Description of Work: Small crack obtained in front windshield on Spring Break in Florida became a significant crack by the time we returned home. Received a referral from our auto insurance, but when I checked their Angie's List report it was not impressive. Checked out Sentry, talked to Steve, read reports, decided to use them.  + -1 moreThe windshield of our van had a crack running across the bottom of it. I used Angie's List to find Sentry Glass. I called on May 14 and spoke with Steve Logan and got an estimate of $210 plus $10 for the mobile service. After getting another estimate we decided to go with Sentry Glass and scheduled an appointment for May 18. I needed to to drive the van by 4:30pm and was a little concerned when the technicians hadn't arrived by 1:30pm. I called Steve and he said that the technicians were delayed at another job and that I was next. They showed up a little after 2pm and installed the new windshield and gave me instructions. Steve called me when they were finished and apologized for the delay. He was very professional and courteous.
Description of Work: They replaced the windshield on my Toyota Sienna minivan.
