I would never recommend them. We were very trustworthy. We looked at the models and thought about it for several months. There were a couple things on the internet that they didn't' do a good job with a couple people, but that was it. When we went to sign a contract, it stated that we couldn't sue them if there were any issues, it had to go through arbitration, that we would have to pay their court fees. Since we were new to this, we wanted just the way we wanted it. Its been a nightmare from the very beginning. After they built the foundation, they pushed mud like four feet from the house, then the rain came, and there was mud everywhere. We found out they weren't going to put in a perimeter drain, they were going to put in a sump pump. I had to pay an additional $6500 to put in a perimeter drain to fix what they did. So then we got the house built I had to fight with them about little things back and forth. Just poor craftsmanship. I'm not breathing down their necks, we'd go in everyday after they were done, and we'd have to ask them to fix things the next day. We were asked to write things down as things happened during the year, so they wouldn't have to come out all the time. Then we left one day, and when we returned there was a horrible hissing sound under the sink, a hot water line had blown apart, and 6000 gallons of water went under the kitchen, and totally ruined the rugs, all sorts of things. The only reason it didn't ruin more, because the water was pouring down the heat vents. After some discussion on they finally sent a guy out, and he determined they would have to replace the floor. A couple weeks later a guy came out and tore out part of the floor, and left stating they'd come back to finish. A couple days later, I see a hole where the dishwasher is, they didn't fix under the dishwasher, they just put linoleum on top of it. It had all these big holes. The toilets they put in were so cheap. The first time we had company over, they toilets over flowed. I had to go out and get two new toilets. The plumber said that's the best one they were allowed to put in. Underneath the house has black mold, they've never fixed. They told me they'd come back, and weeks have gone by, and they keep ignoring my calls. I've called the guy that does the warranty work. I asked them why they can't just fix it. When they come out to fix things, the plumbers are blaming the contractors, and the contractors are blaming the plumbers. I just don't want people to go through the misery we have gone through. This is our retirement home. These are big issues, and they can't fix it. They try and hide things instead of fixing it. They just don't talk to you, and if they do they talk down to you.
