I brought in the tops of the two end tables and asked that the glass be cut a little smaller than a perfect fit. I plan on painting these tables, so I wanted the glass to still fit after the paint was applied. The two pieces turned out perfectly!

The first visit was to fix the window completely off track and scheduled a 2nd visit to adjust the passenger side as it was binding and would have eventually gone off track. Received fast service and a very reasonable price for the expertise shown. Very good experience.

They replaced a broken wind shield in my car. The insurance paid for the cost and it was a good thing. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

It was a very smooth process: I contacted them by email through Angie's List & received a prompt reply from Tammy. I explained it is difficult for me to make phone calls from work so she set everything up with me by email. The repair process took about 30 minutes, exactly as promised. They guarantee their work so if the chip ever cracks out they will take the cost of this repair off the price of a new windshield. The cost was after they applied a $5.00 Angies List discount. Great people, nice facility, and a fair price - I would definitely use them again!

While on a long trip, we had a rock hit our windshield causing a "star" chip. We knew that we needed to get this repaired as soon as we got home from the trip. So, I proceeded to search for reputable companies that did that type of repair. We were hoping not to have to replace the windshield and just have the "star" chip filled in. When I called Shirk's they were very helpful by asking several questions first to determine the location of the "star" chip and how large it was. They stated that it could possibly be fixed with out a full replacement, but needed to see it in person to provide an accurate estimate. Due to the weather, they couldn't come to me, so I drove out to their shop. It was easy to find and well taken care of. As soon as I got there, Phil came out to take a look at the windshield and determined that they could do a repair vs. replacement. He then took my car into the shop and proceeded to complete the repair. Once finished, Phil brought out my car and asked if I would inspect the repair. He explained that it should not have any additional problems, but that in direct sunlight, I may see a little of the original star chip. He was exactly right, only in direct sunlight and at a certain angle you can see just a little of the original star chip. We are very pleased with the work Phil & Shirks performed for us. We would use them again and refer our friends as well.

We had some windows in our basement that were fogged. He came as scheduled for the estimate and for the job. He did an excellent job on replacing the glass. It looks great! We were so pleased with his work that we recently had him come to replace glass in 10 other windows in the house. Once again, he did an excellent job. He was prompt and careful. He wore covers on his shoes each time he came in and out of the house. I really appreciate his attention to detail. The price was reasonable. We would definitely hire him again.

They were professional and they had a very good price. Their price was much lower than anybody else.

This was a large job, and I got several estimates. Screens and Things initially quoted an outrageous price, proceeded to apply several "discounts", and then insisted that I sign a contract. Another outfit said it was too far to come out to give an estimate, and said to send them pictures. Out of the four estimates I was able to obtain, Shirk's Glass was the lowest. Phil came out to measure the openings, discussed the types of screen I could buy, answered all my questions, did not play the "discount" game, did not require a down payment, and there was no contract crap. The job was done in a timely fashion, and couldn't have been done any better. Very professional all the way.

Overall, Shirk's Glass did a great job.

Good experience. Only problem was one window had to be reordered due to a manufacturing blip. They measured the windows on one day and put in the new windows about a week later. Did a very good job.

Mr. Shirk advised me that the repair might not work due to the extent of the damage; however, he would apply the cost of the repair ($25) to the cost of a windshield replacement if necessary. We went through a cold winter and an extremely hot summer and so far, so good. I am very happy with there services!

They charged me $60 on that service. I was very happy with their service. I got there first thing in the morning and within 15 minutes he was working on it and it took him 10 minutes to put the glass in and 15 minutes before hand cleaning things up because I tried to put in myself. He originally quoted me $100 because he thought that it was a windshield replacement, but said that this glass replacement was a lot easier than he expected, so $60 would do him fine.

I had an appointment at their shop at 8am. They were ready to start work exactly on time. The work was done meticulously, and took less than 45 minutes. I was given a discount on the quoted price because the job had been quoted based on a full windshield replacement rather than the replacement of a small window. Many auto glass shops will not do work on glass in vintage cars.

They were really good, and I was really impressed with them. I had to get my car window shield replaced. I looked in a couple of places, and it was very pricey, but they offered a really good rate. It was pretty easy to get in. They did a good job with it - there was nothing wrong with it. I would recommend them, especially for the price. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were courteous, thorough and did a fantastic job. They made an unpleasant experience much less so. The passenger window works good as new now and I have had no further problems. THey also took the time to thoroughly vacuum the interior of my vehicle to remove any remaining broken glass around and under seats and in crevices. I'd highly recommend them for auto glass replacement!!

They did a great job. They were responsive, professional, and courteous. The installer made sure he wore paper "booties" over his shoes so he did not track any dirt into the house, picked up his debris from the driveway, and cleaned the window after it was installed. And, he was pleasant and polite. Very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them for replacing window glass in your home.

The entire experience was excellent. The company was found through Angies List. I called and made an appointment to have an estimate. The owner came the next day. He was prompt and professional. It took two weeks to order the replacement glass. When it was in they called and made the appointment to do the work. The owner again came out and did the work within 2 hours. He is very professional and I'm very happy with the result.

They did a great job - the only reason for the B in Responsiveness & Punctuality is there was a hangup on the scheduling side and somehow our appointment wasn't on their calendar -- so no one showed up the first time. However, when they did come, it went very well. I would recommend them and would use them again.
