ProSource Restoration

Disappointed and Concerned by ProSource Restoration's Business Practices I hired ProSource Restoration following a sump pump failure that resulted in approximately six inches of water in my basement. While the initial response to remove the water and damaged materials was timely, my overall experience with the company was deeply concerning and, in my opinion, indicative of questionable business practices. The first issue stemmed from poor internal communication. I was told by an office representative that the crew would have an extra sump pump on hand in case mine needed replacement. Once the crew completed the water extraction, they informed me that my sump pump was, in fact, broken—but contrary to what I had been told, they were unable to replace it. When I called the office back for clarification, I was told, “they can’t replace your sump pump because they aren’t plumbers.” This forced me to scramble to find an emergency plumber with limited time and resources. Shortly after, the office called back to say they had someone in their network who could handle the replacement—at a last-minute emergency rate of $800. When the plumber arrived, he informed me that only $400 of that amount was for his services, and the remaining $400 was a fee charged by ProSource for arranging the job. In effect, I was charged $400 simply for a referral. Furthermore, despite standard industry practices, ProSource did not provide any dehumidifiers during the drying process. Yet, on the first invoice I received, they included a nearly $400 charge for equipment that was never brought to my property. Additionally, every line item included an "after hours" surcharge—even though ProSource advertises 24/7 service and most of the work was performed during regular business hours. I requested that the humidifier charge be removed and that the after-hours premiums be revised accordingly. To their credit, they complied. However, after addressing those concerns, I received a revised invoice that included over $500 in new charges, which they claimed they had “forgot” to include on the original. Among these was what appeared to be a duplicate charge and a nearly $200 “labor minimum” fee that was never explained to me. Again, I had to engage in back-and-forth discussions to resolve these new discrepancies. While several of the billing issues were eventually addressed, the overall experience left me feeling taken advantage of during a vulnerable moment. It became clear that the company was intent on billing up to the full limit of my insurance coverage, regardless of the actual scope of work—something even my insurance agent found questionable, noting that similar jobs typically cost around $3,000, while ProSource’s charges approached the $5,000 policy limit. My overall experience with ProSource is that they made it easy for me to communicate with the office team and responded quickly to my requests, but they also displayed blatant attempts to further expose me to financial hardship in a time of vulnerability. I strongly caution others to review every invoice carefully and ask detailed questions before agreeing to services. Emergencies are stressful enough without having to worry about being overbilled or misled.

We couldn't ask for a better experience.  We signed the contract with 360 Restoration on Friday, the materials arrived Monday afternoon and the re-roofing project was completed in one day on Thursday.  Excellent installation and clean-up.  The next day a 360 employee picked up the excess materials and used a magnet to check for any nails that the installers may have missed.  

360 Owner Scott Hargrave and project estimator Sergio Castillo were great to work with.  The final cost was the amount on the estimate they provided so there was nothing left to question.

I would definitely use them again.  In fact, I provided their name to my daughter for some roof repair at her house.

They responded quickly when others weren't even returning phone calls. Lots of people were having similar issues to mine at te time. They came quickly and even though insurance wasn't covering the cost, worked with me to keep my cost to a minimum.

The worker arrived on time and introduced himself. I showed him where I had seen the problem.  He checked everything out and then explained to me what was causing the problem and how he would fix it.  The problem was how the gutters were installed; done before I owned the home.  It was an extremely hot day but he worked diligently and fixed everything.  The area was completely cleaned up and there was no evidence of work being done.  A couple of days later we had rain again and it was coming down very hard.  I went outside and there was no water running over the gutters; I've checked several other times and the results are the same no water running over the gutters.

It was great and I expected it to take a long time and be messy and they were done within 2 daysthere wad no mess and everything looks great. The workers wete all polite and professional

Mark examined my roof, gave his recommendation, and thoroughly explained what he found. He then cleaned out my gutters and made sure it was draining well. All of this was done with no charge. I was highly impressed!

360 Restoration has provided multiple services for me with great results. Recently, they removed water damaged drywall and painted woodwork and various rooms with good results. They also worked with and noted some erroneous deductions on the part of my homeowners insurance company which the insurer corrected. They were professional, accommodating, provided a wide range of interior and exterior work, and also cleaned up afterward. I've recommended them to several friends and would definitely use them again.

360 did a great job. They replaced both of our next door neighbors roof and saw the good job they did for them. Both neighbors gave them a great reccomendation.
They were prompt, courteous, got in got the job done and cleaned up. Couldnt have been happier. Looks great too.
I cannot comment on the price because we really didnt look around and compare.

Great. Was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Prompt and timely service. Price was reasonable.

It was a hail damage claim and like storm chasers, they were a bit high pressure - but delivered on their promise and worked well with the insurance adjuster. It took a while for us to pick out roof color, but it went fast when started and looks good. Replaced gutters and we also asked for a house paint bid and they were well under other bids - also a job well done.

Very pleased with the new roof and new trim colors. My wrought iron looks better than it has in years. Except for a rain delay, all went as planned.

They were punctual and did a great job working with me to make sure the roof was as we wanted and the gutters looked great, and the siding was a perfect match. A few trips to get it all done and they made sure we were available to be there when access was needed. They even helped to fix a leaking sump pump pipe outside the house at no charge when they saw the problem.

They did excellent work. It was absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend them. They were very truthful about everything. They never tried to up-sell me anything extra. I chose to do something extra on my own, but they never told me about it. They cleaned up after themselves. They repaired some spots in the siding that were just here and there, and you can't see where they were. Everything was excellent. Efficiency was high. They were very professional. They did everything in a workman-like manner.
