John Ferguson from Perma-Seal came to inspect our seepage problem we are having. He was very professional. He inspected the 2 cracks we have and told us how they would repair the cracks all from the inside of the basement. He was here about 45 minutes going over everything. We felt that Pera- Seal was the one to do the job. John really took his time and made sure that any questions we had were answered.

These guys are very professional and honest. I had foundation issues, that at first glance looked like the slab was cracked and they would pump some foam under the slab and raise it up, and it would be fixed. Once the guys came to do just that and after the carpet was fully removed, they told me they couldn’t fix it that way because the entire foundation was sinking. We are talking about a townhouse with an association, that originally told me it was normal settling. Perma-Seal was the second company that told us we have a foundation problem. I notified the association and they had a third party come out and agree it was a foundation issue. I’m so happy perma-seal didn’t just pump the foam in and say they fixed it. I dealt with Kevin and Don and they were excellent. All the team was very good, they know their stuff. I would recommend them to anyone. The association hired their person, they worked with them before, and its the association’s responsibility to repair foundation issues. So I didn’t get to use this company in the end but they would have done the exact same fix as the other firm, for the almost exact price. I heard about perma-seal from other friends and BBB.

They don’t stand behind their products that they install. The backup sump that I installed had a short convenient after their 5 year warranty. They wouldn’t even offer to come diagnose the problem without a $100 service charge

Mike Vecchione was my sales consultant and I was impressed by his fund of knowledge, his experience, and most importantly, his honesty. We had water coming up through the space between the floor and wall in our basement, so we called Mike Vecchione who has helped us in the past. He diagnosed failing drain pipe outside the house, with supporting details, and gave us a workable plan. He didn't pressure us, and was very easy to work with. This was a huge project but it only took them 2 days in the basement once they started. The crew was amazing, I was able to see everything they were doing and they did a lot, had to jackhammer the concrete all around the perimeter, dig down, install pipe, and lay new cement. They also enlarged our sump pit and installed a new liner with an alarm. We haven't had any water in our basement in the 7 months since, even after some torrential rains. We are very happy with it.

Fine. Punctual and worked fast. Camera work was excellent and the sewer line was rodded because the actual repair of the sewer line couldn’t be done for two months due to their schedule. The four wall cracks have been done and they appear well done. We’ll see this spring. Thought the charge for the crack repair was a little high based on time taken and equipment used but I paid for quality and guarantee.

I recently met with Robert Barscewski for a free estimate from Perma-Seal and was very impressed with his knowledge, and professionalism. He was thorough in gathering information about the issue I was having with a small crack in my foundation, as well as providing me with information about how they will conduct the repair, as well as the other services Perma-Seal offers. While I don't need those other services at the moment, it's good to know more about what they can offer. I look forward to having the work completed and not worrying about it anymore, and should something happen, having a lifetime warranty is great.

Mike V. was very professional and showed us a step-by-step process of how the work will be done, the recommended way of getting it completed both efficiently and cost effectively and was very knowledgable in his field. We plan to work with Perma Seal on the job and even heard about other services they do for crawl spaces and will get that completed as well.

Very smoothly. The price was a bit of a shock, but they offered free financing for 6 months.

This is the second time I've hired Perma Seal to do electrical work. Both times I dealt with Matt Tomfohrde. He did such a good job and was so easy to work with the first time, I asked him to come back and update the outlets and socket. For both jobs, I was charged exactly what Matt quoted me when he gave me the estimate.

Things went bad. They misdiagnosed the problem & caused more damage while attempting to perform repair. This company is good at sales & collection services, however, does not have problem solving skills. It relies on mass marketing on radio/tv to sell their services in the Chicago Land market & employs the cheapest talent possible. Hire at your own risk.

Jorge, our sales consultant, was a very great helper and got us a great deal. He was very informative and kind. He was a great consultant and I would recommend him to anybody who needs to get a waterproofing job done.

Perma-Seal's consultant, Dan Weber, came on time, was professional and courteous, and he checked and re-checked the sump pump to make sure it was working properly. He also performed a courtesy check of the back-up pump and the back-up battery system. I would recommend Dan to anyone.

Perma Seal put a lining on our basement walls, repaired cracks on our interior foundation walls and put crushed rock six inches down on the inside walls with concrete resurfacing.

The work is scheduled. Kevin came to our house and did a very thorough walk through, and explained what services he recommended. We are very hopeful this project will resolve our water issues. Kevin was great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had.

They were prompt, professional & gave our small issue it's full attention. In the end, we needed simple solution and did not require their services; however, we will refer/use them in the future should we ever have any further water issues.

I met with Jeff Kowalik last week for an inspection and quote on my basement and was very happy with the service. Jeff was professional, honest and courteous. He explained a lot about my basement and how water gets in that I had no idea about, I was impressed with Jeff's service and with Perma-Seal as a company. They are coming out in a couple of weeks to get some work done, then again in a few weeks after that to fix a crack in my basement wall, so far so good!

Great and quick, very promt and clear

It went great. Matt the electrician was very professional, courteous and helpful. He advised and modified other issues that were outside his scope of work and did a quick job of rewiring and installing circuit breaker. Friendly guy. Great work. Represents Perma-seal well.
