1. Took pictures and  took samples for a lab to test.
2.  wrote up a protocol for remediation.
3. Used Email to communicate with me and was very prompt with answering my questions and resending a document that I lost.
4. This was my first experience with mold abatement and I was quite anxious.  He provided contacts with companies that performed remdiation and assured me he would make sure, by post testing that the mold problem was resolved.
5. Although he gave me a chart with the test results showing what was above an accpetable level of mold spore count,  I needed to have my results interpreted on how serious the condition was. He said it was serious.   
6.  Because of the "detective" nature of this inspection work, I used his report as a foundation to check with another inspector who suggested there might be a hidden source of mold that has to be checked into.  By "hidden" I mean that there is no visible evidence to the naked eye.
7. To complete this abatement, I am requesting second opinions on everything.

They did very good.  They are very professional.  They do not push work.  Thy have been very knowledgeable.  The quality is high.  They are on time.

Because of the extent of the staining in the attic he was concerned the mold may have gone airborne and contaminated other areas
Of our house. He suggested taking an air test on the ground floor to rule out this possibility.
He also did a complete inspection of the entire house.
As it turned out it was mold in the attic and needs to be removed.
Bob is providing us with certified companies to bid on the job.
Fortunately the mold had not gone airborne throughout the rest of the house.

I contacted All Suburban Services to test my home for the possibility of mold, due to one of my children has high allergies. My doctor had recommended this because my child as some specific breathing issues that mold could have a factor in. So i contacted Mr. Bob DeBoer on Sunday morning asking if he could come out and test my home. I asked if he could come out today if possible because it is too hard for me to take off work on a weekday. Mr. DeBoer had no problems showing up within a great time frame, and at no additional charge on a Sunday. Bob was very professional in his appearance and the way he treated myself and my child. He made us feel important, not just another client or number. He respected my home like it was his own, and left the property clean. He walked us through the entire inspection and explained to us everything he was doing. He did multiple air quality test and surface tape lifts. He did a complete visual inspection at no charge, and had the lab results back to us within 24 hours. He went over the results with us, and explained what the next step would be for us. He wrote a protocol out on how the remediation would take place, and recommended a couple of companies that does an outstanding job. I felt we were taking care of above and beyond what was expected. Mr. DeBoer even did a follow up call to ensure everything was set up with remediation company and asked if we had any other questions about the protocol. I can not begin to explain how satisfied I am with the service because when a child's health is involved it becomes very emotional and you tend to lose focus of the over all picture. He made my family feel comfortable about the whole situation without scaring us or breaking my pocket book.

They were very nice, friendly, and professional. You could tell that they new what they were doing because they know about mold and all the different types of spores. They showed up on time and I even was able to negotiate a lower price. All tests were returned from the certified lab within 48 hours. Everything went great.

I first found mold in the bedroom of my apartment after realizing that a cough I had had for several weeks was due to something more than a head cold. I contacted this contractor upon referral by a friend and he graciously agreed to come out and do testing that same day. He showed up on time and allayed my fears by explaining that the first step to getting rid of mold is finding out what kind it is. He was very professional in his testing, and carefully moved my furniture in order to get samples off the wall. I asked him if my cough could indeed have something to do with the mold in my bedroom, and though he informed me that he couldn't give me medical advice, he provided me with an informational brochure about the link between airborne mold and respiratory problems. After being emailed the results by my technician I presented the report to my landlord who immediately realized there was a serious problem and insisted I move out of my apartment and into a nicer one in the same building.
